Open and breezy. Furniture was showing some extensive use. Bedrooms nice size and bedding very comfortable. So nice to walk a few steps and be on the beach. Nighttime views were as amazing as daytime.

The property manager Miles was the greatest! Very responsive and friendly. We had a problem with the TV , he replaced with a new one that day We had problem with the washer and dryer, Miles replaced with a new one. Always answering texts quickly and taking care of any problems to make our stay very enjoyable. The house itself is in need of work, back deck has rotting wood underneath and paint peeling above. living room rug is old and curling, there is no air conditioning and we were quite uncomfortable with just the fans going. All the fire alarms were removed, he might have been fixing them. The view was beautiful and we spent many nights looking at the ocean and sky. Once again the property managers were the greatest!!!!

Fantastic Location!

The location was fantastic! Loved the proximity to the beach. The house did have working windows… though some were marked broken but we have great airflow. We hung out at the back deck daily and loved listening to the ocean waves. I didn’t see any beach chairs but I didn’t even bother asking. We were having too much of a good time. Locating the entrance gate was tricky the first time and I didn’t read all the check in instructions on how to put in the gate code. But once you check in there is a gate clicker for use in the house. Nice touch that there was plenty of sunblock & beach towels. Note* there are some minor bugs you have to deal with, tiny ants and lizards/geckos but it’s typical with every rental I have had in Hawaii. There aren’t many restaurant close to eat and most places close early… by 9pm. Turtle bay is close. Good beach at Kawela Bay right around the corner from the house. It’s not easy to get into the water from the beach at the back of the house due to the rocks and coral… I didn’t want to walk all over it because of sea life. But around the corner there is a good bay or you can go to Turtle Bay. I loved the north shore being away from the big city of Honolulu. It was quiet and most of our excursions were in the north shore area, which was convenient . Loved it here and plenty of space for the 5 of us with 2 cars! I would love to stay again in the future!!

Peaceful location on North Shore

What a beautiful location with a stunning view. The home was clean and well laid out and just a handful of steps to the water. Away from all the hustle and bustle and just what was needed after a couple of years of Covid lockdown. Perfect place to recharge those batteries.

Wonderful relax vacation

Love the house! It was pretty much as advertised with just about everything you need at home. The scenery was even better than the photos! Also, Myles and Chaney were very responsive and great to work with. The only small problem is the wear and tear have started to show and those windows that labeled "broken" and must to be kept closed should be fixed before the weather warms up when the temperature is in mid 80s or higher. Some rooms can be quite warm if some of windows can't open. Overall, it's a great family vacation home. Never tired of the sunset view from the back balcony!

We stayed for a little over a week. The communication was great. The home was perfect for our needs. The location was everything we wanted. We had a tough time with spotty internet connections, but we enjoyed most of our time on the beach or out and about exploring. The 3 kids are already talking about getting back to that house and the beach. We saw a sea turtle our last morning on the beach. It was pure magic.

family bucket list trip!

The location is amazing. It was like our personal oasis. I loved just sitting on the porch watching the waves and listening to the birds and chickens in the morning. The house is an open layout, which was great. While open there was enough space to spread out and have some space. But the beach is why you stay here. We walked daily on the beach, swam, and just in generally loved being by the water and the sand beach. It is a perfect location. Having chairs and beach toys was great and we made good use of them. I loved having the grill to be able to cook our dinners. Overall, while some of the windows didn't open, there was still a nice breeze through the house keeping it cool. There was all the essentials that we needed, coffee pot, pans, dishes, towels, etc. And thank you for the beach specific items. We hope to come back and I will be sharing the details with friends for sure!

Perfect hideaway on North Shore!

Property is gorgeous and well maintained. The beach was a bit on the rocky side, and kind of steep by the stairs, but you can still swim. Some of the windows didn't open which is a must because the house, like a lot of houses in Hawaii, doesn't have air conditioning. Loved the kitchen and the deck. When the tide goes out you can see fish and crabs in the tide pools. It's perfect for the family that wants a laid back beach vacation!

Beautiful property

Awesome location, clean property well equipped - would have loved to have had access to boogie boards and umbrella that was locked up in downstairs storage room. Due to the fact that we didn’t have AC it would have been nice if the windows were fully functioning - (the cranks were broken). We were still able to get a nice breeze but would have been a beautiful cross breeze with those windows open! Otherwise great spot close enough to action without the crowds! Loved our visit!

Great location and great ocean views

This is a great beachfront property. Location near Turtle Bay is great and walking trails near by excellent. The property is open and spacious with direct beach access. The house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The large kitchen was a great feature because with Covid we cooked most of our meals. The windows and ceiling fans were efficient in keeping things cool without the need for AC although we would have preferred AC. Excellent property with good communication prior to our trip.

Good but bad!

Place was beautiful!! Only problem I had was, property manager,Chaney. on Tuesday we had a bbq and some friends over, some live music. It was only 3-4:00 in the afternoon. She came over(Chaney) yelling at me, swearing at me, calling me a liar!!! Then threatening me about calling her boys on me, telling me I gotta get out and I’m not getting my deposit back!!! I ask her if she could be more professional and stop being so disrespectful towards me because I wasn’t disrespecting her, but she kept calling me a liar. Neighbors complain about everything!!! According to her (Chaney, property manager) even if I may have did something wrong, she could’ve came at me like a professional. I WOULD NEVER RENT ANOTHER PLACE AGAIN IF SHE (Chaney) has anything to do with it. If it wasn’t for bad neighbors, and a bad attitude property manager, place would be the perfect spot to enjoy!

Well this is the first time I have had to leave a negative review about someone staying. David reserved the house for 4 adults and three children for 10 nights. After about the third night the neighbors all around started to call. Loud music and noise coming from the property. After reaching out to David through text I was assured that there were only the people that booked the place at the house. This is our house rules and with Covid-19 and the state of Hawaii’s Governs orders you can get a fine for more than 10 people gathering. After speaking to a neighbor, they said that there where way more than 10 people on the property with several car. I then reach out to David again and he assured me that was not the case. He then texted saying well it is his nephew’s birthday and we have a few people over. I just ask that there not be more than 10 people and to please turn down their speaker box. I explained the rules of the house and the state order and he reassured me he would not do anything to break these. He assured me he did not want to upset the neighbor or break the rules. Two days later after I had already explained how he was upsetting the whole neighborhood and our house rules he decided to have a large party at the house. There was a six-person band, 15 cars, and over 25 people. I was so shocked. I could not believe that he would just lie to me and say he would follow the state of Hawaii order and the house rules. I went to the property and was very upset. No one had mask’s on and the place was packed. I hold David he needs to get everyone out of there now and leave right now. The police came and I assured police that they were all leaving. It is up to a $5,000 fine right now if more than 10 people gather because of Covid-19. I asked David to please leave again. No one was getting up and leaving. I got so upset and went around telling everyone they have to go now! I did tell David that you broke the state law and the house rules and will not be getting your deposit back. This is our policy. No gatherings, events the property without prior approval. The people were all upset because they did not know where to take the party. I was like I do not care just leave. I am writing this review because I want other property owners to know that if you rent to this guy it is not going to be just him and his family. It is going to be non-stop people coming over to hang out and loud noise.

Paradise on the North Shore

The pictures are accurate. This property is spacious, clean and bright. The wall to wall views and lush landscape are breathtaking. The kitchen is humongous with 2 sinks so plenty of room for 2 cooks in the kitchen. A bit of traffic on the only road in but it’s close to Waimea Sunset and Turtle Bay. Grocery store a few minutes away. Myles and Chaney were very welcoming and provided all the details to make our vacation to the North Shore the best it could be.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was ideal. Really enjoyed the house and the North Shore lifestyle. Waking up every morning to such a beautiful view was amazing. Would love to have stayed longer. The only downside I could comment on is if you like to sleep in cool temperatures this house has no air conditioning. Once windows were open there is a nice breeze but I prefer sleeping in a cooler room. If the bedrooms had wall units it truly would have been perfect. But everything else made it worthwhile and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Oceanfront home & property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is as-advertised, a simply great house + great location, plenty of space in the home itself and on the grounds around the house: we played bocce in the grass. Awesome deck for sitting outside, we ate on the deck table most nights as the sun went down and saw some amazing pink/violet skies light-up the clouds. Everynight fireworks! A few easy steps down from the back lawn and you’re out on to the sandy beach directly behind the house. A few notes: with regard to the beach behind the house, beyond the sandy shore and into the water, it is a rocky bottom. If you’re expecting a sandy swimming, like Kailua, Lanikai, or Sunset Beach, it’s not that. The house could use a few more sizes of both pots and pans (there are a few of each), and a full-size grill would be a nice addition, too. This is a five-star home, notes are suggestions and just clarifying the beach. Would definitely return to this amazing home. Mahalo!
