Lorraine was so nice to work with! We have a vacation rental property we rent as well, and we have to step up our game if we want to compete with this property! The welcome basket AND dinner when we arrived was wonderful. The house was perfect and the location peaceful yet so close to everything. We highly recommend this property!!

Great Holiday on Dingle

This house was the perfect combination of elegant and full of home comforts. The host is an absolute gem. I have never felt so well cared for by a host! Clean, well appointed with fabulous views, pur entire group agreed that if qw get back to this area, this is where we would want to stay.

It was great to meet lorraine:) she provided very thoughtful food, fresh flowers throughput the house, and wine for our wedding/anniversary. The house is perfect! The view was amazing with a great location!

Wonderful home in Dingle/Ventry

We had the best week staying in Lorraine’s home. Beautiful, spacious, three bedroom and three bathrooms. The view across the bay to Dingle harbor was picturesque. Lorraine provided a very thoughtful and much enjoyed welcome basket of goodies for our stay. Thank you! We hope to be back:)

Amazing!

Amazing!! Lorraine was a wonderful host and her house was amazing. We weren’t sure if we would ever be able to come back to Ireland, but we loved Dingle and this house so much, we would like to come back for a whole week and spend the entire time here. With the amazing views from every window, quiet street, and cozy feel, this house is a winner!

A little piece of heaven

The pictures and descriptions of Lorraine's home do not do it justice. Everything about this home was first class. The attention to detail was outstanding leaving it difficult to even think about how to improve upon it. Lorraine is a thoughtful and considerate and attentive host. All that and the view makes this a great place to stay.

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic time in Lorraine’s property which was beautifully fitted out. It looks even better than the photos on VRBO and was kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Dingle is quite a walk (along a busy road with no pavements), so we ended up driving a bit more than we thought we would, but that was more than made up for by the views, the quality of food and drink options in Dingle and the amazing views everywhere you turned. A big thanks to Lorraine for being such an entertaining host!

Superb house with fantastic panoramic view

We stayed for a week with our family of four in Lorraine's wonderful and spacious house. It really is as it looks in the pictures: the view over the panorama of Dingle Bay, Dingle Town and the mountains behind is simply magnificent. The house is situated on a cul-de-sac with very little traffic. It is wonderfully quiet, only the seagulls and the occasional bleating sheep. The house is equipped with everything you need for a successful and pleasant stay. Lorraine was an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. The packed lunch she prepared for us was more than generous. We really enjoyed staying with Lorraine and will definitely be back.

Lovely Lorraine

I can't say enough about how wonderful staying here was. The house was amazing, the view of the bay was amazing, our welcome basket, color book and pencils, our granddaughters name on a piece of paper at a small child's table, flowers and morning breakfast food in the fridge because we arrived late in the evening was beyond kind and so appreciated. We were able to settle in, relax and not have to worry about running into town until the next day. Lorraine also checked in several times during our stay to make sure we did not need anything. Lovely Lorraine is what we have named her. We rate this experience as 1000%

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this lovely cottage. A very peaceful location ten minutes outside of town at the beginning of Slea Head Drive. The home was exactly as pictured, with a fabulous view of the town across Dingle Harbor. Across the lane is a pathway to walk up to Eask Tower, well worth the short hike for an absolutely stunning view of the sea and cliffs. The house is situated perfectly for people that wish to bike or hike in the area or just relax and enjoy the lovely view. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals. The beds were comfortable with beautiful linens, the bathrooms spotless with lovely soaps and plush towels. What we will remember the most about our stay was the warm welcome we received and how thoughtful our host Lorraine was. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a gift basket full of snacks, wine and Dingle gin. Communication before our trip was quick and easy via email. She also gave us her phone number and checked in by text during the week to see if we needed anything or had questions. We would love to return for a longer stay in the future.

A Special Place

My brother, mother and I had a truly wonderful experience staying in Lorraine's gorgeous home. We brought my mom, who is dealing with early to moderate stages of dementia, to Ireland to see where her grandmother was born and grew up. We wanted a 'home base' that would be lovely to hang out in on our rest days. We couldn't have chosen a better place. The views and location are stunning and serene. The only noises you'll hear are cows or sheep. There's a great, short, steep hike to Eask Tower right down the road where, if you're lucky, you'll get a chance to talk with the charming neighbors who sometimes collect your 2 Euro donation at the trailhead. As far as the house itself and Lorraine's hospitality, you couldn't ask for a better home and hostess. We arrived later than planned and were so appreciative to walk in to the kitchen to a fresh loaf of brown bread, a stocked pantry and fridge (even with vegan choices, catering to my dietary preferences), a bottle of wine and a bottle of Dingle Gin (and she didn't forget to leave us tonic)! The rooms are all clean and comfortable and house has amazing light and views surrounding it. Lorraine checked in via text every couple of days and was super prompt at replying whenever we had a question. We hope to go back someday and intend to stay there again; I can't say enough about how truly great it was to stay in Lorraine's house and have her as our hostess. If you're thinking about staying there, think no more and just reserve it. You deserve it!

Beautiful house with spectacular bay view

This is an exceptionally beautiful house with lots of space for a family of four (or five, or six). The bay view from the terrace is outstanding and offers each day a georgious scenery in Green and Blue. WLAN working well, so the kids were happy too. Very kind, generous and helpful host (many thanks!). Note that the house is not in Dingle itself, but beautifully located on the other side of the bay. Which is another plus - close enough to drive spontaneously into town, but far enough to only faintly her the music from downtown across the waters. We can total recommend a stay in this beautiful house, which is well taken care of and decorated with taste.
