Family vacation

Property was in a great location. Quick and easy walk to the beach. We have 3 little ones so it wasnt a hassle to walk back up to the room. We loved that the owner had a beach wagon, chairs, beach toys, etc. It made everything so much easier for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Property overall is great. Great location(beachfront, close to shops and restaurants, central island location), great pool, and well manicured property. Inside the unit was spacious and, for the most part, clean. Furniture is different than pictures, but nice. I would stay here again if travelling to HHI.

Condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean. 2 large bedrooms, 2 baths a large family area and decent kitchen. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. The location is perfect. A great pool and a private boardwalk to the beach. The beach area is typically just families in the complex so not as crowded as the public beach sections down the street. An easy walk or bike to Coligny Plaza. A closet FULL of beach gear was a fun surprise.

Beautiful views

We absolutely loved the location and views, checkin and check out process was great! The only complaint I have is that the condo was not cleaned very well…jelly was all over the drawer handles and splatters of something all over above the cabinets and on kitchen ceiling, bathroom vanity drawers were also dirty inside…I really do hate to complain but we have stayed at Shorewood for the last 4 years and have never had an issue but this was the dirtiest that we have stayed in thus far, I just feel for the price it should be clean

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice unit although a bit dated in some furnishing. Sofa is old and needs replacement.Toilet in main suite has issues. It runs and it makes noises when sitting and getting up. Something moves in the wall behind the toilet and it needs adjustment. Also, stain in hall ceiling should be repaired. Hot tub was not functioning properly one of the days and the rule indicating children under 12 not permitted was not being observed. Many small children were in the HT and this affected enjoyment by adults.

We’ve been to Shorewood a few times, but this was our first experience with this particular condo. Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of space. It would have been nice to see a bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom replace the single bed. The queen bed in that room was nice. The master bedroom was nice as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the living room was comfortable. The exterior balcony lights were not working, but we didn’t mind and let the management company know.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shorewood! Great location and weather. The place was perfect for location at Hilton Head and the weather was nice. The only downside was the house could have been cleaner and the hot tub wasn’t working for most of our stay. We would definitely come back for another stay. Thanks for having us!

It was overwhelming to search all of the units in HHI, and I found myself being over critical about places. This unit did its job. The positives: Great location (we could walk to ice cream). Private beach access (closer to an outside bathroom). Great pool (zero entry was nice for our 3-yr old.) Keyless entry to property (didn't think we needed it, but OMG it was convenient). Nice TV and living room area. (Kids watched a movie from the drawer one night and I secretly loved the 360 chairs).The negatives: A wobbly dining room table (we told them, it's probably fixed by now). Honestly the owners may want to upgrade the King bed and frame. I slept well enough, my spouse less so. Also, we dropped something under the kids bed, when I got down to retrieve it,the area under the bed was very dusty and I found a pill from a previous stay (looked like Excedrin). Cleaning crew just needs a periodic sweep under the beds.Overall, we'd stay here again. We had everything we needed. Fixtures are adequate. No it doesn't have fancy brushed nickel faucets, but we didn't need that, and I think that was my overpickiness coming through when I was searching for units. The charging station was a nice idea, but lacked usb-c charger that fit our phones.

We love Shorewood Villas for many reasons - location, proximity to the ocean and pool, plus more. This was our first time in unit 436. Overall, it was fine. It could use some updating, especially the bathrooms. It was clean for the most part, but it could use a SERIOUS DEEP CLEAN. It had wonderful extras, like beach chairs, a cart and even a Cool Cabana. We brought our own though. New carpet and rugs, mattresses in bedrooms are needed.

Amazing View

The view was absolutely beautiful. The property, pool, access to the beach and of course the beach itself could not be beat! The cleaning service could do a little better on mirrors and floors especially, otherwise the condo was very clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation! We will definitely return!
