Magnificent Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Beach & Downtown - La Rochelle

Dear Caroline, we thank you for your feedback on our location. Nevertheless, we would like to reply to some points that are not entirely true. We rent our property to you for 3 weeks, and we exceptionally allowed you to bring your dog, even though we don't allow dogs at the house. But we were disappointed when we found our house at check-out, seeing our interior wood chairs damaged, because you put them outside for 3 weeks, because you thought there weren't enough furniture at the garden. That is why we had to keep a small part of your deposit, to cover those expenses, which by the way, were not unfunded as you say, since we took pictures of the damaged items to send to Home Away, to justify why we kept a part of the deposit, and they agreed with us. This was the first time in 2 years renting that we had to charge something. We didn't even charge the cost of washing our curtain (damaged with dog pee) or the blocked sink, which was working perfectly before (we had to pay for both though). Other than this, we had 10-12 occupants in the house many times before and they all thought the house was very well equipped (regarding the kitchen or seats). The garden is a small "city garden", as written in our add, since the house is located in the city center, so unfortunately there's not a lot of space for a big garden or 12 seats. But this little garden is still very pleasant. The garden is exactly as shown in the pictures of our add. It is not our fault if you were expecting anything different. You even demanded that we cut the trees of our garden for your stay, to have more light. We're very sorry, but we protect the environment and we refused to cut those beautiful trees, specially because you had the pictures of the garden as it is. The house, on the other hand, was renovated in 2016 and is very big and comfortable. We apologize for the barbecue not being cleaned (we had it cleaned for you on the same day you asked us) and we also bought umbrellas to have some shade in our sunny terrace for our next guests. We're always available to help and to improve our property, and our goal is that our guests have the best time in our house! We thank you for your understanding, and we hope that you had a good stay with your family anyways!
