This beautifully designed beach cottage offers plenty of space for a family vacation! With four bedrooms, including a bunk room that features four twin beds, and three full bathrooms, it’s perfect for families. Located in Beachtown’s East Village, the cottage is just one row from the beach and situated alongside an open green space, providing guests with stunning sunset views and opportunities to watch ships navigate through Galveston Bay.

The convenient one-story layout includes a spacious great room, a screened-in porch, and an elevator, making it accessible for all. The living room boasts a cozy fireplace and a wood-planked cathedral ceiling. Plus, it's only a short walk to the beach walkover. This home is sure to be the ideal getaway for families vacationing in Galveston!

A week away

We expected a nice venue based on the description in the listing but were really blown away by this house. The bedrooms worked perfectly for two adult couples, a teen aged boy with a friend, an 11 year old miss princess, and a couple of dogs. Supplies in the pantry were overwhelming and the cupboards were full of everything we needed.

Very nice place, will be where we stay for all future Galveston trips. Beach was close and clean. Not crowded at all. Home offered a ton of amenities like ping pong, hatchet throwing, bags, it had a golf cart and all the beach gear you could need. Well stocked home, and the downstairs shower made coming back from the beach nice not having to track sand in.

Beautiful home. I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness as it was dusty but nothing we couldn't take care of.The place was stocked with snacks and spices and drinks. It had all the necessities that would be needed for your stay.The kids room was staged with age appropriate books and they had games fir all ages. They also had new lego sets that were age appropriate for them. They had so much fun putting them together. The screened in porch was great for gathering and the view was great. The pool was a distance away but the golf cart provided was perfect for hauling all our towels and pool toys that were provided. The downstairs kitchen and grilling area were perfect and games were provided there also.It was a dream vacation home for our family of 8. The host went above and beyond any other host that we have encountered. I see the unit is for sale so I hope the next host is as accommodating. We would stay here again if coming back to Galveston.

Amazing Property

We enjoyed our stay so much over Memorial Day weekend. The property is great for large families or group of friends. In all of our years of travel, this is the most thoughtful host by far. Anything you might need is provided. House is beautifully furnished, safe, quiet and easily accessible. Outdoor spaces are so nice, relaxing, comfortable and scenic. Screened in porch is a definite plus and has a lovely view. The beach is very close - just a short walk to the sand - chairs and umbrellas provided upon request - no crowds. Would most definitely rebook - the community has Seaside, Florida vibes without the hassle and drive.

Fun Every Time We Go

The best home!

I don’t even know where to start as this home has set the highest bar for rentals. I don’t think we can stay anywhere else now! The owner has gone over the top with what they offer to guests. The home has literally everything you need and things you didn’t think you needed! The decor is stunning, the quality of the items (kitchen, bath, bedding, etc) is luxury! We felt like we were staying at our friend’s place with just how nice and comfortable it was. The house is 50 yards from the beach walkover, so it’s incredibly easy to go back and forth to the beach if you need to. The beach itself feels so private and the whole neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, not like the other party areas where you never know what you’re going to hear at night. Seriously this place is the best and I hope the owner never stops renting it because we will be back again and again, thank you!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was great, from the decor, finishings and all the amenities the house provided. we definitely will be returning. Only suggestion is maybe some fans downstairs to help with mosquitoes, but other than that the house was amazing.

Wonderful Beach Home

It was a great stay for New Year's for us. The house is clean and beautiful. The amenities are amazing. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and drinks. There were plenty of beach toys and towels in the garage. The only minor snafu was that I had to reach out to the property manager to get the code to enter the home. It was not sent to us. There was also confusion regarding the wifi password. It was still a great weekend and we would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded Expectations!

We loved this property! The photos online are quite accurate as to its beautiful design and decor. It was lovely inside and out. Still, it exceeded our expectations. A dream beach house and I loved pretending it was mine! Very nice to have everything on one floor. Cozy yet spacious and very well appointed. Just a very short walk across the street to the beach access. We really enjoyed the bayside view with breezes rustling through the grasses, birds, sunrise and sunset, barges drifting to and from the ship channel, and even a side view of the Gulf surf. The house next to this is set back so the view is encompassing and no structures are behind the house. Glorious solitude on this screened in porch! The management here is excellent and check-in, check-out is very easy and they are very responsive to help and answer any questions. The rental cost is totally worth it for these lovely homes in this unique community so close to the historical district and all the best that Galveston has to offer. We will be back and it would be hard to not rebook this particular property. First class!

wonderful beach rental

We shared this rental with another family -10 in all - and had such a wonderful time. close to the beach. well kept property. the mosquitoes were quite bad - but i think that’s because of the recent rain. definitely recommend repellant and even spray for the stairs and garage. the screened in porch is lovely and fun to watch the boats come into the port. would recommend highly for families looking forward a beach getaway.
