Escape to The Cheeky Dolphin, a charming coastal retreat where family and friends gather to create unforgettable memories. Just a short stroll from a private neighborhood beach, our home offers stunning views, modern amenities, and ample space to relax and unwind. With four bedrooms, each boasting a private ensuite bath, plus a bunk room and two additional half baths, everyone in your group will find their own comfortable haven.
● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.
● Location: Beachside Village beach community of Galveston, Texas
● Beach Access: A 3 minute walk to the Beachside Village community beach access point.
● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.
● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.
● Pet Policy: 2 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.
● Parking: There is room for 3 cars in the driveway and 1 in the garage. Per HOA rules, street parking is not allowed except for in the designated area located 2-3 blocks from the home.

The living room, just steps away, boasts plush sofas, a warm fireplace, and a TV for cozy nights in. Gather around the dining table for delicious shared meals, or step out onto the back porch, accessible from both the living and dining areas, to savor breathtaking views of the backyard and beyond. A private king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, double vanity, and walk-in closet completes the first floor.
Venture upstairs to discover four more spacious bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for your comfort. A second king bedroom awaits, complete with porch access, a desk for those who need to work, and a luxurious ensuite bathroom mirroring the one below. There is also a queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twin beds, both feature ensuite baths with a tub/shower combo, single vanities, and walk-in closets. Lastly, a delightful bunk room with two twin-over-full bunks, features cozy reading nooks and porch access. A half bath is also located on this level.
The second-floor back porch beckons you to unwind, providing an idyllic spot to soak up the sun, sip your favorite drink, and watch stunning sunsets over the beach. Back on the ground floor, a laundry room with washer and dryer ensures convenience, while a powder room adds an extra touch of practicality. Beyond the indoor comforts, The Cheeky Dolphin offers a fully fenced backyard for privacy and security, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. Enjoy some grilling with the family with our propane grill!

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 10 need to be approved. We do not allow parties. There is a $500 HOA fee for violations.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied. No street parking allowed per HOA rules. There is a $50/vehicle HOA fee for violations. Cars that do not fit in the driveway can park on the south side of Sea Butterfly west of Grand Avenue.
- RVs, Boats, Trailers, etc. may not be parked in the neighborhood. There is a $500/vehicle HOA fee.
- NO oversized vehicles of any kind per HOA regulations.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
- Please turn off exterior lights when not in use to avoid disrupting the neighbors.
- Place all trash bags in the trash cans. Loose trash bags outside of cans will be fined $50/bag.
- Only registered guests are allowed overnight.
- Do not use the premises for any illegal activities.
- The fee for a lost key will be $50.
