Worth every penny!!

The pictures do not do it justice. It was perfect for us. Close enough to everything, but far enough away that it is quiet. Any questions that I had, Amy answered quickly and acutely. Definitely will stay here again.

Good location but wouldn’t recommend unit

The second bedroom where our son was supposed to sleep stayed so hot we were unable to use it. The lowest the temperature got in the room was 72 despite putting the unit lower, closing curtains, etc. That bathroom also had mold on ceiling and the primary bathroom had a sink that was clogged. The until was at the far end of the hall without easy access outside of the building on that end. This wouldn’t have been a big deal for adults but made it increasingly more difficult with a little one getting in and out. The property states you have a private parking spot, however, several nights we circled the parking lot for 20-30 minutes waiting on a spot as the overflow parking lot was absolutely inconvenient when you are expecting one at condo. Communication with owner was good. Overall, I would recommend staying at this facility but choosing another unit. Not impressed whatsoever, especially, considering the price we paid.

Hi Heather, we're sorry your stay was not an optimum experience. We do restrict the AC unit to a minimum temperature of 69 to prevent the unit from freezing up and causing a shut down to where there is no AC at all. Typically that 2nd bedroom stays very cool at that setting. The unit above us has had problems with a leak which unfortunately has caused moisture in that bathroom ceiling. We had been told this was repaired and the ceiling in that bathroom was replaced. Obviously that until is still having a problem. I apologize this affected your stay but I can assure you it isn't something that has gone unattended, we will get this addressed again. We are supposed to have one parking spot on the 2nd floor of the parking garage. When the Village has events it draws guest from outside of the resort that are not supposed to be parking on the 2nd level, which is why it is coded. Valet parking is also not supposed to be using that area, this will be addressed with the association. I hope otherwise you did enjoy your time in Florida

Absolutely Wonderful!

We loved staying here. Myself and my husband, my two adult sons and their girlfriends all had a fabulous time. Plenty of space in the unit for all of us. The rooms are decorated nicely and the overall feel was very comfortable. The kitchen very well equipped with everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. The laundry was so nice to have in the unit. We enjoyed the patio with the trees and privacy. Location, oh goodness, the location is absolutely wonderful. First floor. Steps to everything! Village of Baytowne Wharf is literally 75 steps from unit door. This is also where the tram pickup/drop off is located. Tip we learned from tram driver Greg. There are three different colored tram routes red/yellow/green but good thing about staying here is that no matter which tram you get on they all stop at the beach and they all stop at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. That is not the case for other resorts. That made me feel a lot better since we were all doing different activities at times. The village is amazing, so much to do and see. We enjoyed live bands and DJs. Ate diner while watching the Marina. Enjoyed a stunning Blooming Tuesday fireworks show. Zip lining, rock wall, ropes course. Even my adult sons got some competition in at the Arcade. All of this steps away from the room. The pool on the third floor was a short walk as well. I kept wondering how was the pool on the third floor. It’s built over the parking garage which makes sense. I had it for three hours all to myself one morning. A fluke, I know but I soaked up every minute of it. If you follow the parking instructions, you’ll park steps from the unit (we learned the hard way) but figured out quickly. Grocery delivery from Publix was a life saver. We enjoyed every minute of this vacation. Amy is wonderful and quick to respond. We will be back.

Beautiful Location!

My family of 4 had a great week at Baytowne Wharf! The condo is exactly as it’s described on the site. Loved having 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. My kids had their own space and my husband and I could have our space. So thankful for the washer and dryer. Right out the door is Baytowne Wharf with food, shopping and entertainment. The only thing I wish was available to use was a golf cart, because this is definitely the way to get around Sandestin. Instead we rented bikes and took a beautiful ride around the property.

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our time in this unit. The unit was clean and great location. Being able to just walk out the lobby and be steps away from Baytowne Wharf was really nice. Communication was great with Amy. She answered any questions quickly. Overall great experience.

Great Condo and Owner

We had a wonderful trip to Sandestin. It was not my first choice because the condo was not on the beach, but we ended up loving being close to the activities at Baytown Warf! Our kids had a blast and the beach wasn't too far away. The movie night in the plaza and fishing on the fishing pier were favorite activities. In addition, the condo was very cozy and had everything we needed. We especially loved sitting on the large porch and swimming in the gorgeous pool! Also I can't say enough about our hostess, Amy. We did encounter one issue at the property and Amy was so gracious to contact the correct people and get the issue corrected even though the issue was not her fault at all.

Great time at a great place

Our wonderful stay at Baytowne Wharf was do in large part to this lovely unit. Besides being a great bargain for it's location it also was the perfect size. It's a two bedroom, but the 2nd bedroom is a lockout that has two queen beds, with it's own refrigerator, bathroom and separate entry, perfect for my daughter, son-n-law and grandkids. The main area is just as spacious including the master bedroom and bath. We also enjoyed time on the private patio surrounded by lush greenery. The biggest plus was staying right in the heart of Baytown Wharf especially for the grandkids because of all the fun activities available there. Amy couldn't have been nicer or more helpful anytime I had a question. Thank you Amy we had a super time! We've already started talking about coming back next year!!!

Spring Break

Great Stay at Sandestin

We traveled to Sandestin with our 16 year old son and 14 year old daughter. We had a great time. Weather a little chilly in March so we walked the beach (some of the nicest you will find). We biked and we played golf 5 times. There are great deals for the Juniors so quite family friendly. Amy's unit was as described. Well located. Nice pool. Good work out room. Amy was very responsive with any questions. We would highly recommend both Sandestin and the Pilot House condo. Thanks for everything. We hope to travel to Sandestin (we are from Toronto) more often.

We fell in love with the white sandy beaches and turquoise ocean at Miramar Beach when vacationing and knew we wanted this area to be our home away from home. The location of this property has everything you would need within minutes by foot or by tram. We love that the village is steps from us, no worries looking for parking.
