Sie werden den atemberaubenden Seeblick von diesem Haus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern lieben, das sich auf einem 65 Hektar großen See in einer privaten Wohnanlage für bis zu 14 Personen befindet.

Entfliehen Sie der Kälte und genießen Sie den Seeblick vom Whirlpool für 6 Personen und der Feuerstelle. Gehen Sie zum privaten Dock und Strand im Hinterhof am See. Genießen Sie den Kamin im Wohnzimmer mit 20 Fuß hohen Gewölbedecken und Panoramablick auf den See sowie den NEUEN 75-Zoll-Smart-Roku-Fernseher. Der Keller hat einen Billardtisch, einen Air-Hockey-Tisch, eine Casino-Bar, die in einen Poker-, Roulette- und Craps-Tisch umgewandelt werden kann, und ein Multi-Arcade-Spiel mit 48 der besten Spiele der 80er Jahre - Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Hundertfüßer, Frogger & More! Wir bieten von April bis Oktober Zugang zu einem 4-6-Personen-Kanu.

Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer mit 32-Zoll-Roku-Smart-TV und Deckenventilator. Das Deck verfügt über einen Gasgrill (Propan zur Verfügung gestellt) und Terrasse Tisch und Stühlen.

Zweiter Stock umfasst 4 Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Schlafzimmer 2 verfügt über ein großes Bett, einen großen Futon und einen 32-Zoll-Roku-Smart-TV. Schlafzimmer 3 verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und einen 24-Zoll-Roku-Smart-TV. Schlafzimmer 4 verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, 32-Zoll-Roku-Smart-TV und Gewölbedecken. Schlafzimmer 5 verfügt über 2 Etagenbetten und einen 32-Zoll-Roku-Smart-TV.

Pocono Family Vacation

We had an amazing time at Longfellow Lodge for our family vacation! Despite a few rainy days, we still had plenty of fun inside and out on the lake! The house was clean, cozy and a perfect fit for our family. We all enjoyed the game room, hot tub and variety of watercraft! Check in was easy and all communication with the owner was great! Highly recommend Longfellow Lodge for a great escape to the Poconos!

Wonderful lake house vacation

We really enjoyed our vacation at this lake house. The owners are easy to communicate with and they provide so many amenities to use during your stay. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, we cooked on the grill, the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals, the kids and adults enjoyed the basement with the pool table, air hockey table, basketball and video games and the sandy beach and dock were awesome. The wildlife was amazing too. We saw geese, ducks and deer close up since they are very tame and always looking for a snack! Such a beautiful home and a wonderful vacation!

Everything you could ask for

The house was awesome and Jen was a great host. She literally thought of everything you could need. It was beyond our expectations. She had something there for everyone from my 1 yr old grandchild to our age. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back in the future.

perfect vacation

This lake front rental you can not miss! 5 bedrooms all with tv and ac! More then enough room for our large group of 13.Lots of room to spread out and enjoy separate spaces if wanted. Large game room was great when it rained and we couldn't use lake and beach .The whole house was very clean and well appointed with all you could ever need .All you need to do is to bring your bags. Owners where more then helpful. Very kind and careing!!

We had a great friends/family getaway. The house was plenty big for all of us. The view from the deck was amazing, the fishing was great and the deer a treat for all of us. The game room and games were a big hit. Jennifer was quick to respond when we needed her. The only thing we noticed was that house need a little more of a thorough cleaning, this is why we gave it a three. But all in all a great place and a great time had by all.

Wonderful trip

My husband and I took our two daughters, their spouses and 4 grandchildren to Jen's mountain home. We had a wonderful time. Jen thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked and the game room was definitely a plus. There were more than enough toys for all the kids to enjoy. We sat around the firepit and night waiting for our nightly visits from the forest creatures. We had deer and fox visit us while we sat by the fire. Jen was wonderful to work with and was quick to respond to any queries. Everyone raved at what a great and relaxing vacation we had. Joyce

Beautiful lakefront escape

Our group of 3 families with 7 kids between us had an amazing long weekend at Longfellow Lodge. They thought of absolutely everything! The game room and multiple smart tv's were perfect for the rainy day, and the lake and watercraft, plus the fire pit and hot tub, kept everyone occupied with fun all day long when the weather cleared up. The views of the lake were beautiful. The house was clean. The beds were all very comfortable. The check-in/check-out process was easy and the communication from the owner was exceptional. We had zero issues during our stay, but know we would have heard back immediately if we had needed to reach out. There are other amenities in the community, but we didn't really leave the house because we had everything we needed right there. We all agreed that we would love to come back in the future. Highly recommend!

Decent house

We had a family of 13 and this house worked well for us with the exception of a few things. There were some damaged /broken things. We specifically picked this house for the bedroom layout and that was changed before we arrived. An unfortunate circumstance. The house is a little dated, but for the most part fairly decent. The view is amazing. I wouldn't call the neighborhood a vacation neighborhood. The amenities we went to were ok. But the house suited us well. We would stay with the owners again. They responded very quickly.

Jason, that you for staying with us. Although we made changes to the bedrooms the number of people the room slept was still the same. We made the change because of other feedback we received from prior guests. Also, we are working very hard to try and make updates to house as we can. We recently needed to a new roof, windows and sliding doors which unfortunately costs a lot of money and no ones really notices. We hope to update the kitchen by next summer then work on the rest of the house. We are doing the best we can with the funds we have available to make the house enjoyable. We hope you come back to see the new updates.

It's a shame.

Could be so much better. This property is ONLY lightly cleaned between rentals as per the property manager after the fact and was not inspected before our visit. On the 1st day we were greeted with a garage full of other people’s smelly garbage, a condom on the bedroom floor and a filthy BBQ grill outside. The manager gave us lots of apologies but no solutions when she did occasionally reply. We did not use the hot tub for obvious sanitary reasons but we were charged a cleaning fee anyway as part of the rental. We cleaned everything up ourselves including the outside grill and made the most of our stay. The views and lake are great but the area outside of the complex are not the best. We asked the manager for consideration for the final bill for our troubles but were declined. Do NOT rent this property unless you are able to inspect it 1st or if you don’t mind potential unsanitary conditions. We would not rent this property again.

Thank you for your feedback. As I previously communicated, we want to ensure everyone enjoys the most from their stay and expect our guidelines provided to be followed. It is the responsibility of our guests to place the trash at the street on trash days and clean the grill after each use. The cleaning service does not remove garbage or clean the BBQ as part of their service. The cleaners do their very best between rentals. They only have 1 – 2 hours to clean the property between stays. We have a large home and they are human and may occasionally miss things. If you clean your own home you are fully aware of the time it takes to perform a deep clean and reach every corner of the house. In addition, the hot tub is included in the price of your reservation. We do not provide refunds if you choose not to use it. Also, for sanitary reasons we MUST clean and maintenance the hot tub after each stay. We have many happy guests and I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations.

Perfect Vacation week

This vacation included a group of 3 families - ages from 4-45. In summary- we will without a doubt rent this home from Jen again. Obviously it has been stated in multiple reviews about updates/renovations. This was well known prior to us renting -so I would not hold anything against the owners. Sure, the basement needs to be finished - and when it is, that will be such an incredible space. Also- it has been said in many reviews we saw about the kitchen. Sure, it could use updating. Again, we knew this ahead of renting - so I would not negatively write about this or hold this against the owner. This exceeded our expectations- to get more specific, outback. The space out back - including the “beach” area, sitting area, and dock - was much larger than we expected from pics. We had a blast. We never left the house at all. We had teenagers who typically spend lots of time playing on XBOX.We had a large projector set up in the basement for them to play -they never played- the entire week. We had the 2 canoes that came with the property -and also rented a paddle board and tandigm kayak. This was incredible - the kids hung out in the lake from after breakfast until just after dinner. It was perfect! We honestly thought we would have a great time - but this was even better than we all anticipated! We all had a blast. The kids loved the hot tub (of course keeping the temperature low). We spent 95% of our time outside, or up on the large deck off the kitchen/living room. The space in the house was perfect. We had plenty of space -& when we all sat in one night watching TV, amazingly we all fit! The TV was awesome- of course how could a 75” not be. We were so comfortable the entire stay. Honestly, we just can’t say enough about our vacation. The weather was perfect, outside was more than awesome. The kids spent all their time in the lake. The adults had a great time sitting around the fire , or using the canoes. We also brought up a dozen large floats with large amounts of rope. We tied up all our floats, &just laid in floats! This was incredible. Incredible! Jen- you were so responsive and easy to reach ,you got back to us immediately for any of our needs. Thank you. The only negatives - trash and recycling were overflowing upon our arrival. Recycling is every 2 weeks, so of course you can see how that backs up. The kitchen and basement need updating . Great rental and owners - we will be coming back!!

I am so happy you and your family had an amazing time. Thank you for being so understanding regarding the trash. With covid, the company has been short staffed this year causing delays. We are working on getting a few more trash cans so hopefully that helps. We are excited to start our renovations in the fall. Starting with the kitchen and bathrooms. A great time had by all!

The house was a great layout for our family of 7 adults and 3 children. The rec room was set up to be enjoyed by all. Our personal favorite was the outside beach area, fire pit with great furniture and a variety of water craft boats. Our host was accomodating and extremely responsive. Fun times!

Incredible, fun, comfortable home. Perfect for family vacation.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home is decorated tastefully. It is spacious and designed to make your stay pleasant and easy. There are signs all over that give you helpful instructions. The view is beautiful, the back porch lovely, and the game room downstairs offers lots of fun for multiple ages. The hot tub, fire pit, bench swing, and boats add to opportunities for spending quality time together. The house manger was reachable by text and replied to my questions very quickly and was friendly and helpful! We were two brothers with their families, including 2 young grandchildren and had an absolutely lovely time! I would like to mention one or two small points that I think I'd like to have known. In order to check in, you need to stop at a check in center about a 6 minute drive from the actual home. At popular times, you may need to wait in line for 10-15 minutes to check in, and the check in process takes about 5 minutes. So, when calculating what time you want to arrive at the home keep in mind that it could be about a half hour process until you are actually there. Also, Shampoo is not provided so bring your own. And one last thing, there are quite a few instructions for checking out, including washing towels used, taking out the trash from all the trash cans in each room, sweeping out the fire place if used. I always leave rental homes neat, but doing all this when paying a $250 cleaning fee for 2 days seemed a big excessive to me. Overall, it was awesome! And we'd love to return again!

We are happy you had a great time during your stay and would like to return. If you are not familiar with the Poconos a majority of homes are located in gated communities which require all visitors to check in to receive a gate pass. Also we do not advertise we provide toiletries. Regarding the check out instructions I will review as laundry is not required. I apologize if there was any confusion. The cleaning fee may seem high for 2 nights however our cleaners have the same responsibilities if your stay 1 hour or 1 week. The fee charged doesn't even cover the entire cost for cleaning our 3,000 sq house, laundry services and hot tub maintenance.

Great house for a family vacation!

Our family loved staying here! It was very clean and spacious with a large dining table & living room that allowed for family dinners and game nights. The kids enjoyed all of the games in the basement & the hot tub is right out the back door. Jen’s instructions were easy to follow and when we had a question during our stay she responded immediately. Since we came during the winter we weren’t able to use the lake but we did ski at Jack Frost and snow tube at Camelback, each mountain was easy to access, about 30min away. The community is strict about cars coming in and out but Jen made it easy to pre-register each vehicle & we had no problem. We definitely hope to come back for another family trip in the future!

Beautiful spot on the lake

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing. There was lots of room for the 9 of use to enjoy from the large seating area in the living room, to all of us able to dine together at the kitchen table, and hang out in the basement. Jen was very responsive to any issues we had or questions we had. We would certainly visit again!

Right from the first communication with Jen the owner ,I knew we chose the right spot .The house is amazing ,something for everyone .There was six adults with 8 children .Plenty of room for all to enjoy .Game room in basement makes me jealous .I would and hopefully will stay again .

Family Fun!

This was are second year here with 8 kids ranging from 4-7. The owner really puts a lot of thought into activities for families. The basement room has many fun games for all ages. The added kayaks and paddle boards were a huge plus!. The kids played outside from morning till night and never asked once for an Ipad!! Everyone had a chance to catch several fish. We will be back next year. Renovations to the kitchen and baths were great!

The house provides spectacular views of the lake. You will absolutely enjoy waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio or from the dining area and taking in the views. We also have frequent visits from our wildlife friends. Cuddle up on the couch and enjoy the wood burning fireplace and 75 inch Smart TV. Fully enjoy the outdoors with the firepit and seating for 6, relax in the hot tub, fish from the private dock or play in the sand on the private beach. We do love to spend time away at our home as much as we can. We hope we have provided all the amenities you would need for a great vacation.
