Everything was great. The cabin was very clean and is small but quaint and cozy. We loved staying there, our dogs were very comfortable and enjoyed their daily walks. We enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace at night. Nice neighborhood, great location for any activities and close to town. The hot tub area on the private enclosed patio was very nice, the hot tub itself could use a little updating, the filter/skimmer is broke or does not fit well so it is not filtering leaves etc.. We would definitely stay again.

Great Stay!

Adorable place that matches its pictures well. It was clean and well cared for nestled in a lovely neighborhood close to all the action, and still with a few nice views. Perfect size for a couple or small family.

Everything was awesome. The house was well prepared clean stock with all the essentials that we would need for a great stay. The location was awesome as well as it was close to everything not far off the beaten path and when the snow started to fall on Saturday night into Sunday they must have plowed the entire neighborhood at least 30 times. The fireplace was wood burning which was exactly what we wanted with plenty of Woodstock as well as availability of wood in the neighborhood for all the renters.The hot tub was clean and very well heated the outside area was nice didn't get to use it much because of the cold weather and snow but the inside was very comfortable and friendly as well as well furnished including the bed which was comfortable and very warm.There were two areas in the house that were a little drafty one by the front door where the handle is along that side as well as the bottom of the fireplace you could feel the cold air coming in but both are an easy fix and could be done with a little weather stripping

Grizzly Den is Great

First time to Deep Creek Lake and the Grizzly Den was the perfect spot. Close to everything (even with the 219 detour) and a 5 minute walk down the hill to Dutch’s and the lake. Cabin was great just as described. We’d stay there again.

nice little cabin

The cabin was nice and cozy, though a little on the small side. Great for a couple or a couple with 2 small kids. 4 adults in the house would have been too crowded. House had everything you needed, and the hot tub was nice. The house was out of firewood upon our arrival but after a couple of days I realized there is a community stash of firewood people can pull from. I would stay here again!

Peaceful rest

Very relaxed atmosphere and location. Cabin nice amenities but needs some newer door curtains or blinds. Kitchen is very functional but small if more then 1 person prepping food and cooking. Even though weather wasn’t the greatest rained every day had plenty to do in the area for hiking and walks. Will definitely be back.

Great long Weekend at The Whitetail

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a wonderful time at The Whitetail. It is a cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood ( Yellowstone Village) and is centrally located to all the Deep Creek Lake activities. The cabin was perfect for the two of us, the furniture was comfortable, the hot tub was private & refreshing after a day of hiking and the bathroom was spacious and modern. When we arrived there was a welcome beach bag which was filled with goodies, it definitely was a thoughtful surprise. This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake and it won't be our last. There are many activities to enjoy outside- boating, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, nature centers, water falls and an abundance of state parks. We had wonderful weather so we were able to dine outside at Uno's, the Green Turtle and the Bear Tavern and enjoyed ice cream several times at the Creamery. We can't wait to return !

Great romantic getaway

Amazing cozy romantic cabin. Highly recommend it for couples more so than families since it’s small but very nice. We barely left the cabin especially since we had the hot tub!

first time renting a cabin and taking my dogs. it was wonderful

cabin was spacious and wonderful. so quiet and peaceful. definately would reccommend to anyone.

Charming little cabin

Charming little cabin. Comfortable for a family of 4. Our dogs enjoyed the trip too! Close to lake/Wisp. Peaceful, family friendly neighborhood.
