Family Visit

The cabin was very nice and what it shows in the pic. The Bed was HORRIBLE!! Probably need a chiropractor for a month after 3 nights in that thing. The mattress must be 30 years old and you sink in to the floor!

Cute Little House

Was this the perfect house? No. Was it affordable and did it fit our needs yes? Absolutely. In retrospect, we would have gone with a slightly larger property. I think the pictures give the impression that it is slightly larger than in reality. My wife and I stayed with her parents and our daughter and frankly, it was a little tight. But it was clean, cute and comfortable. Not lakefront but in a quiet little neighborhood. Would be good to have friends rent neighboring properties in the future.

Gorgeous space. Perfect for a quick romantic or family getaway. We LOVED everything about it except that there were no stairs or handrail for getting into the hottub which we thought was a safety issue. The wifi was strong and reliable. The TV was big! The beautiful wooden walls and ceilings were so cozy. What a wonderful time we had. Thanks!

Deep Creek getaway cabin

Cute and cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood near the lake. Easy drive to marina, state parks, restaurants, grocery. Nice bathrooms, lovely hot tub and fireplace, and the kitchen had what we needed. Puzzles and shuffleboard were a hit! Beds were comfortable. Didn't need the TVs. We were a little uncomfortable with the mounds of blankets and pillows in the closet with the hot water heater - maybe there's a better place to store them? And maybe a brighter lamp for the living room area for better puzzle-doing would be nice. Overall, we really liked the cabin and would return.

Not worth the rental fee

VRBO fee was never disclosed and did not appear until credit card bill arrived. Therefore, it was not factored into the selection process. Prior VRBO rentals were structured differently so complete price was known before submitting order. This is our last VRBO vacation!! Price was too high to begin with for just 2 people.

Small but beautiful getaway

My husband and I had a lovely time at this beautiful cottage, to celebrate our birthdays. While the cabin itself was very clean and lovely, I do not see how even four people could comfortably stay all at one time, let alone six, as it is listed. The main living areas are very small and crowded with only two small loveseats and a very small table with four very small stools for seating. The master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor were amazing, but the loft upstairs has a queen size bed with a very large and noticeable dip in the mattress, not to mention the fact that there is certainly not much privacy between it and the very small futon, also found in the loft. The bathroom upstairs, however, is very nice and roomy. The enclosed porch with a hot tub was very enjoyable, but make sure to turn the hot tub up to temperature as soon as you arrive. When we arrived, the hot tub was only set to 85° and it did not get up to 102° until the next morning, even with the cover on. We did have a very large load of firewood waiting for us to use in the fireplace, which was a lovely addition to the evenings spent watching TV in the main living area. The galley kitchen was very nice and had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. Overall, we had a wonderful time - this is a great cabin for 2-3 (?4) people.

Cute cabin

Great cabin very clean great location. One issue king bed upstairs was awful big dip in middle very uncomfortable my daughter and son in law did not sleep good all week need a new mattress. And hot tub area needs an update. But we had great weather and good food.

Just What We Needed!

Due to Covid19, our summer plans were canceled. We still wanted to get away so we looked for a place closer to home. We were not disappointed. The Tree Haus was perfect. It was fully stocked and plenty of room for the 4 of us. The A/C and WiFi were much appreciated. Location was great. We definitely would stay here again. Thanks :)

Good get-away cabin close to the lake

We really enjoyed our stay here - especially the lovely porch. The lighting inside was fairly dark and the porch overall needed a good sweeping, but otherwise it was a great stay for us!

Summer vacation getaway...

The cabin was in a quiet neighborhood, removed from U.S. 219 traffic. It was comfortable for four adults with room to spread out. The first floor master shower was an experience! It is big and with the two high flow shower heads quite relaxing. The hot tub and enclosed patio area were used all four days of our stay! The tranquility at night was wonderful for resting after an action packed day. The kitchen was used for breakfast and dinner on a couple of the days. Everything you would need to cook any type of meal. The location was convenient to most attractions and restaurants in the area. See review below of area attractions. Deep Creek Lake area is recommended for all ages. From boating, waterski, & tubing, swimming at the State Park, rafting at ASCI, to having fun with a Segway tour at WISP Resort, and bowling a couple games at The Alley in Oakland. Of course, who could resist having a taste of Lakeside Creamery or Lakeside Grill with their fries and burgers... The weather was sunny and warm for the most part during our visit. We had a spot of rain one day but that is expected in the higher elevations. We will be back in the future for another visit for sure...

The perfect fit for us!

Perfect size cabin for our party of 6. Covered hot tub was great for when it was raining and windy. The shower in the master was awesome and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals as well. Thanks again, Tree Haus

Dream vacation

My husband and I came up here for a little get away. The house was beautiful! It is in a very convenient area. Far enough away for privacy, but close enough to get to main areas in a short drive. We will be coming back every year now. Best time away that we have ever had!
