Versteckt am Ende der Gasse in einem Hain aus Mimosen und Aprikosenbäumen, bietet es das Beste von allem - Lage, moderne Annehmlichkeiten, ruhige Privatsphäre - und traditionellen Santa Fe Charme. Im Innenbereich genießen Sie die gut ausgestattete Einrichtung und moderne mexikanische Kunst; Im Freien, in der natürlichen Schönheit des Gartens in einer von drei Sitzbereichen schwelgen.

Kurze Fußweg zu den Galerien der Canyon Road, Restaurants und Cafés (10 Minuten), mittlere Gehdistanz zur Innenstadt Plaza, Kathedrale, Museen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (20 Minuten), länger zu Fuß zu Museum Hill und Railyard Art District (25 Minuten). Sie können durch eine geheime Abkürzung im Schritt eines Baumes in der Nähe (oder finden Sie die Nachbarschaft Tor in der Nähe) und geben Sie einen Pfad, der Sie zu historischen Vierteln mit wunderschön renovierten Adobes gefüllt. Die gut ausgestattete Küche verfügt über moderne Geräte, eine Kücheninsel und Granitarbeitsplatten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer auf der Eingangsebene verfügt über ein eigenes Badezimmer mit einer entspannenden Badewanne. Das 2. Vollbad auf der gleichen Etage hat eine Dusche. Die untere Ebene verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Vollbad mit einer Badewanne-Dusche-Kombination. Beide Schlafzimmer auf der unteren Ebene haben einen privaten Zugang zu einem Patio-Sitzbereich. Geräumig mit viel Platz zum Ausbreiten oder Zusammenkommen. Casa Mimosa ist der perfekte Urlaubsort für Freunde oder Familie.

Das Haus umfasst auch eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Es gibt vier leicht zugängliche Parkplätze abseits der Straße.

Had a great stay at casa mimosa. Seamless check-in. Clean, sunlit, really well outfitted with everything we needed for a family stay. Owners are great about communicating, and left a great book with info about the house and area. I had lived in santa Fe many years ago, and although it has changed, the location was perfect for us. Love the light, the charm, the culture, the food. Every time i visit i wonder why i ever left.

This is the third or fourth time that two friends and I have stayed in the 3-bedroom Casa Mimosa, and once again, we found it to be an excellent experience. The attractive adobe home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood in the Historic District, but only a 5-minute drive from the Plaza. The house itself is extremely comfortable, welcoming, and well-appointed with a dining area separate from the kitchen, two downstairs bedrooms that are well away from the upstairs bedroom suite, and wonderful southwestern art. The hosts have thought to furnish the home with everything their guests might need: ample kitchen supplies, umbrellas, picnic baskets, and the like. We have rented several homes in Santa Fe, but this one is by far the best. We very much recommend it.

Wonderful Santa Fe Casa

My adult daughter and I stayed 5 nights at Casa Mimosa. We had a wonderful vacation helped by staying in a wonderful house. We appreciated: comfortable beds/bedrooms, a well laid out kitchen with excellent appliances, a welcoming living/dining room, and wonderful outside patios. The house is in a very quiet area, which was important to both of us. We slept so well.Casa Mimosa is an easy walk to the Plaza, so we had excellent access to museums and dining without needing to drive. The only time we drove was to go to the museums on the hill (plus it was raining that day). We did have some rain, and we were so grateful that the owner provided umbrellas for us. There is so much to see and do and in Santa Fe and such outstanding restaurants. The ease of access to these features was excellent from this property. I have visited Santa Fe 6 or 7 times, and Casa Mimosa is by far the best place I have stayed. We plan to visit and stay here again.

Spring break with adult kids

The house is a beautiful adobe, very well appointed and close to everything. Canyon road, museums, food, all within a 5 minute drive. We went skiing (30 minutes away) and went hiking through beautiful mountain forest (20 minutes away) and went to Bandolier National Monument, ancestral Pueblo cliff dwellings. Highly recommend!!!

Nice house near the Plaza

A very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Easily walkable to Canyon Road, and perhaps 25 minutes walk to the Plaza. The house was well-equipped and in excellent condition. Communication with the owners was prompt and effective. All in all a very nice stay in a unique part of the world.

We landed in Santa Fe for a 5 night stay at Casa Mimosa with a family of 6. Paula was wonderful to work with all along the way. She was a great communicator before the trip, and the house has a great notebook full of tips about the town and information about the house. It is a well stocked house at a fantastic location. The Best

Two opera-loving friends and I have rented many homes in Santa Fe through VRBO over many years, and Casa Mimosa is by far the best and most comfortable rental we have experienced. The location is perfect: in the Historic East Side, but easily accessible. The home is exceptionally and thoughtfully well-appointed in that the hosts have anticipated everything that a vacationing guest might need: a basket of umbrellas, a sewing kit, a picnic basket with china and crystal, a first-aid kit, etc. The main floor bedroom and the two bedrooms downstairs are like separate suites. If -- as friends often do -- you need some private time, Casa Mimosa will allow it. Its kitchen and dining room table also easily allow you to have Santa Fe friends over for drinks and dinner. Communications with the hosts are easy but they are not intrusive. I cannot recommend this home highly enough and hope to rent it for all future Santa Fe trips, even if our party is fewer than the three friends who rented it this year.

A wonderful property!

I loved the six-night stay at the gorgeous Casa Mimosa with two friends! The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The house is exactly as posted, clean and well-decorated. We especially enjoyed reading about each piece of art in the home's manual. Directions for everything we needed to know (arriving, departing, operating appliances etc) were also provided in the manual. Having stayed at multiple VRBO properties in Santa Fe over the years, Casa Mimosa is now at the top of my list! Many thanks to the hosts!

Paula grew up in Santa Fe and attended elementary, junior high and high school here. She has always dreamed of living in this beautiful neighborhood and feels so fortunate to own this enchanting historic adobe. She left New Mexico to attend Yale University and the University of Houston and, after earning a PhD at Cornell, joined the faculty at Stanford University.

Ramón is a native of South Texas who grew up in Brownsville and fell in love with both Paula and Santa Fe. He is thrilled to be making a home in this enchanting city. After earning a PhD at Yale and teaching at the University of Texas at Austin, he too joined the faculty at Stanford University.

In keeping with their personal and professional love of literature and culture, Paula and Ramón enjoy international travel, fine cuisine, and spending time with family and friends.
