Casa de Álamo (Pappel-Haus) ist ein one-of-a-kind-Juwel im Herzen des historischen Eastside, die zuerst im Jahre 1848 bewohnt war. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die auf "alles, was Santa Fe ist" nahe zu sein!
Die Geschäfte und Galerien von Canyon Road sowie die Downtown Plaza sind nur wenige Schritte von der Haustür. Das Café "Downtown Subscription" befindet sich auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite und ist ein guter Start in den Tag!
Dieses geräumige 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer Haus verfügt über einen schönen großen Raum für Familie Genuss.
Der malerische Innenhof ermöglicht offene Abendessen unter den faulen Schatten des großen Pappelbaum.
Unser Haus wurde kürzlich mit Heizung und Kühlung gerade rechtzeitig für die Schneesaison aktualisiert!

Amazing Historical Home

Great girls weekend

Stayed at Emily’s place with two college friends and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Super walkable, clean, AMAZING decor - very much a Santa Fe vibe that would be hard to find elsewhere. We would definitely stay again!

We LOVED this place

This home left such a space in my heart. I traveled with my teenager and my sister and we had a blast. We each had our own room and this place is totally cozy. The first day of the trip, it snowed, which made the house feel even cozier then it already is. The photos in the listing are great but this place is even better then the pictures portray. Our hearts were breaking when we were leaving. It was already hard to leave since it was the best girls trip but this house made us feel hugged every day and night. It was our first time in Santa Fe and I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Wonderful Home

Beautiful, historic home. Was perfect for me, my husband, daughter, son-in-law and 5 yr old grandson. Great location, next to Canyon Rd and a 15 minute stroll to the Plaza. Off the street parking for 2 vehicles!!! We loved our stay.

charming home, convenient location

I stayed here recently with 2 girlfriends. We found the home to be very charming. Loved the tile work, the skylights, the big bathtub. Parking was convenient. Great location as we could walk to both Canyon Road and downtown Plaza area. We would stay here again.

This property had such history and uniqueness!! We loved staying so close to everything while still being quite in the evenings. The property manager dropped by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and we had some great chats in the living room!!

Convenient location in historic Santa Fe

Historic and charming Adobe house. Very close to canyon road and within walking distance of the plaza. Delightful enclosed courtyard where we were visited by a raccoon. It was also nice that the house was supplied with toilet paper, Kleenex and paper towels. These items don't normally seem to be supplied and it made us feel more welcome that they were in the home and there for our use. We really enjoyed staying there.

Lovely stay near plaza

A unique adobe near the plaza. A lovely stay walking distance to canyon road. We had a group of different ages and property worked really well. As in the description it is a beautiful old adobe and some steps into different rooms. The steps might not work if you have an elderly person in your group. Lovely host!

Great historical home. Great location near Canyon Road. The interior of the home was very comfortable. For anyone that is elderly, the first step into the home is very difficult and there are larger steps throughout the home. We had heavy rains and due to the historical old home we had a Water leaks in the house. The property manager was great.

Historic, comfortable, clean and convenient

The house is located in close proximity to Canyon Road and the downtown square... we walked to both a couple of times. It was very clean, very well set up with the three bedrooms surrounding a pretty large den area (complete with large couch that could serve as a bed). The kitchen and outdoor courtyard were great as well. It is old, but really well done and it was really perfect for our family of 5. We would stay here again for sure.

An authentic southwestern experience

Very comfortable, homey, uniquely decorated home. As has been stated, great, central location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—home and Santa Fe. We are in our 70’s and had no problem with maneuvering steps from one room to another. Might be a bit of a challenge if someone has mobility issues.

Lovely home- difficult parking

We loved our stay in this cozy historic casita. It was well appointed and walking distance from town; however, the parking was a big problem— our two-car tandem spot was three doors down, and difficult to access with construction. Every morning someone was asking us to move our car.

We love our home because its like stepping back in time in a sense. The house was built in the 1800's so it charm remains and somehow transports you back in time and you get a feel for the way the original Garcia family lived in this sweet little house. It's updated with modern furnishings but the charm of the house still remains. We call it our little jewel box. Theres so much to discover around every corner from the artists original paintings in the window casing to the dancing ladies pressed into the door frame to what we think was a religious tabernacle in the hallway where the family once worshiped. We know you will enjoy this home as much as we do.

Our home is tucked a block off of Canyon Road..only a short stroll from our front door but away from all of the hustle and bustle.
Subscriptions coffee shop is just around the corner. It's one of the most popular coffee shops in town with a casual atmosphere and relaxed vibe.
