Island Getaway

The property was exactly as shown in photos. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and luxurious linens. It was supplied with everything we needed. The location was perfect for visiting Paris - restaurants and metro stops were within a short walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return for future visits to Paris.

Bucket List

We booked this apartment for a Paris trip to celebrate our daughters 40th birthday. Apartment was wonderful with two bathrooms and bedrooms in a wonderful area. Only semi misleading item was the fact there are about 30 stairs to manage every time you access the apartment and no view.

A great location for celebrating our anniversary!

I cannot say enough about the support that was provided by the rental agency. They went above and beyond to help us get settled in. The apartment was exactly as pictured. Spotlessly clean. A great location to see all of the Paris sights. There is no river view but being in a courtyard, it was very quiet. The kitchen was small but very adequate as we cooked in every night after shopping at all the local food stores. I definitely would recommend this apartment.

Good quality, good location

Nice appartment, naar centre. Fine neighbourhood. Dont use cafe on Cornelia, too expertise breakfast. Over the bridge a lot of choice with better quality. Beds are good. Also bathroom facilities. There is airco. Small kitchener, That we didnt use.

Fantastic Location and Property!

This is our 2nd stay at this location. The first was with some friends in 2919. This year we decided to go back with some of our family. The location is great if you want to be near everything yet have quiet nights to sleep. Not much for a nightlife on the island, but it's not very far away either! The property is very well managed, the car service from the airport makes it so easy to get there after a long international flight, and the check-in/check-out process is stress free. If we ever make it back to Paris we will defiantly book here again. After staying here for 2 weeks it already feels like home.....

Location/space great with A/C

We returned here after staying in 2019. Location is superb, quiet surrounding. Description of the property is right on, and communication with staff was efficient and clear. Beds comfortable, sitting area in living area made for lovely and relaxing times when not out and about. Note: 15-20 stair steps to the apartment. Windows do open, and air conditioning separate unit for each primary BR and living room; good quality air conditioning. Grocery/wine/cheese Shopping easy on Ile Saint Louis as others reported. Would rebook this property!

Perfect in every way...

The apartment was charming, comfortable, well-equipped (the washer/dryer and iron we're handy during our weeks stay), cozy, well decorated, and the location was absolutely amazing. You feel as if you're in another world - outside of the hustle and bustle of Paris, but close to the metro and in walking distance of many fabulous arrondissements. We ate at great restaurants that were only a 10 minute walk away. Check-in was efficient - our host met us at the door and we were greeted with fresh flowers, wonderful pastries and a bottle of wine. What a thoughtful touch. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this property, especially if you want a more immersive Paris vacation.

This property is fabulous. Immaculate. Robes for two in each bathroom. Hair dryer in each bathroom, iron and ironing board provided. We used the washer and dryer and they worked wonderfully. Kitchen area and supplies more than adequate. We only ate a quick breakfast here. Croissants and wine waiting when we arrived. Supplied with coffee, paper towels, garbage bags, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and softener, toilet paper, coffee. We used the A/C and each room is controlled individually. Worked great. Water pressure in showers great. Bath towels perfect. We did not use the TV. Safe and enjoyable area. 2 keys provided. Can walk everywhere from here. Fred checked us in and 24 hour support offered from this company. Fred was very friendly and informative. We had to text him once about a minor issue which was immediately taken care of. We met a few neighbors in passing and they were very friendly. Safe area. Reference book on table that answers any possible question and also up to date travel books in the apartment. Delicious restaurants near by. We used the transport option they provide from the airport and no glitches. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and also use this company! Thank you for everything!

We stayed here as a family of four in early July. The apartment was nice overall with a great location on the 2nd floor overlooking a courtyard. It’s right by the Seine River and very close to the metro, making it convenient for sightseeing.The kitchen had good supplies and amenities, and the bedrooms were fine. AC worked well in the lower-ceiling bedroom but was only so-so in the en-suite (higher ceilings made it less effective, which we understood). Bathrooms were clean and functional, though the shower required stepping up, which felt unusual. Laundry was a big plus — washer and dryer were essential since Paris was extremely hot and we needed to wash clothes often.The main living room AC struggled and needs to be replaced — it was on but felt around 80 degrees everyday, making it hard to spend time there. The couches could also be more comfortable.We didn’t learn until about a week before arrival that the building was under construction. Loud work started at 9AM on the stairway trim, with dust and fresh paint smells. Had we known earlier, we might have chosen differently.The host had excellent communication throughout. Overall a nice stay in a prime location, but the construction noise and living room heat were drawbacks.

Comfortable 2/2 apartment in fabulous neighborhood

Check-in was seamless; apartment was comfortable. Well-heated, nice sized washer/dryer, spacious bathrooms, very comfortable beds. Crisp/clean linens and towels. Tastefully decorated. Short flight upstairs. Felt very safe. Terrific location close to amenities, restaurants, bridges to Le Marais, Saint-Germaine, and Ile de la Cite. No major issues; couple minor issues with lack of cold water in kitchen and tv connection, but other than that, our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Perfect in every way - apartment on Ile Saint Louis

This 2-bedroom apartment was simply wonderful! The apartment is located in the most beautiful, serene part of Paris on Ile Saint Louis. The entrance, across from the Seine River, is thru a big red arch door to the inner cobblestone courtyard, Then up one flight brought you to a beautiful well-appointed apartment with 16 foot ceilings in the living room, which has exposed beams and lovely windows. The two bedrooms, with very comfortable beds, have ample closet space. The two bathrooms were great, with excellent showers - one bathroom is ensuite, the other is off the living room. The kitchen is small but had all the necessary appliances. There is a full-size washer and dryer in a closet in the living room. It is difficult to capture how special this apartment is. It was a joy to return there after a day of serious touring. We could purchase all we needed in the small shops on Ile, including a boulangerie for great bread/croissants, a fromagerie for delicious cheese, and a small grocery store for other items. We ate most of our dinners at the small restaurants on Ile, enjoying the famous ice cream at one of several locations. We loved the feeling of being in a small village, away from the noise and crowds of Paris. This apartment is ideal for two couples, or a small family. We were there with our teenage granddaughter who absolutely loved everything about the apartment, Ile and Paris. Also, the people who manage the apartment are very responsive, and assisted with arranging a limousine for pickup when we arrived by train and when we left by air. One of the staff met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. They also have a very complete notebook in the apartment with all the information needed to enjoy Paris. You will not be disappointed to stay at this unique apartment! I only hope that we may return at a future time.

Perfection

Our stay could not have been better. The location on Ile St. Louis is perfect to access either bank and the island has its own unique flavour. The apartment has everything one would need for a short term stay. We ate breakfast in and all other meals out. The beds are very comfortable and king sized. The apartment is very quiet with lots of light from two courtyards. If there are any negatives it is that there is no view and there is a walk up one flight of stairs to the apartment. Overall 4.8/5.

Comfort and Charm in the heart of Paris

As an exchange student in Paris 28 years ago, I remember dreaming of one day staying in an apartment on the Ile St Louis... and my dream came true! My husband and two kids (12 and 9) stayed here for a full week at the end of July / first week of August. We were absolutely thrilled from beginning to end. You step off the busy, hot Quai along the Seine and into a serene, tidy courtyard. The apartment itself is roomy and comfortable, and quiet! We felt transported to another world and another time. Every time we came back from another big Paris adventure (walking tour, food tour, bike tour...), we breathed a huge sigh of relief and happiness when we walked through the front door. It was such a soft place to land. The A/C worked well (we were caught in a 24 hour heat wave), we used the kitchen and the washer/dryer, and the TV for Netflix and it all went off without a hitch. Everything worked great. The showers had awesome water pressure and plenty of hot water, the beds were comfortable. In terms of the location, we thought it was just perfect. We made liberal use of the metro and bus systems to get to places like the Louvre and Eiffel Tower, and then when explored the Marais, Latin Quarter and Saint Germain, we simply walked everywhere. There are countless excellent restaurants / boulangers / cafes just steps from the apartment (we mostly went to the Marais for our supplies). Do bear in mind that Paris really does shut down the first week of August, so we had to walk further afield to find things like coffee and baguettes to supply our kitchen. Nearly every shop on the Ile St Louis was shuttered. It worked out fine and it turned out to be not much of a bother, but just something to bear in mind. 5 stars! Can't wait to come back!

We were thoroughly impressed with our Paris apartment. Everything was as described, and the location is fantastic. The PVA management team was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to make our visit very enjoyable.

The best of a hotel and apartment all in one!

Comfortable (real) king size beds with plenty of pillows, large bathrooms, tall showers with good water pressure, hotel style amentities, AND all the benefits of a simple kitchen/living room/washer dryer set up. Location is perfectly central. Quiet for sleeping but walkable to many sights/restaurants/bakeries etc. Loved the extensive book of recommendations and information. Spend a week pretending you live - luxuriously - in Paris! Can suggest this rental without hesitation.

Lovely apartment, incredible location

We spent a fantastic week in Paris with this apartment as our HQ. At the beginning of the trip, Fanny met us at the apartment, explained all the little things that are slightly different (like the washer and dryer) and told us about the neighborhood. She insisted we call her if we had any questions or concerns (we didn't). At the end of the trip, she arranged for a taxi to pick us up at 4:30 am for our early flight home. The apartment itself was bright, airy and huge. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was small but very efficiently laid out. Everything was spotless when we arrived. You're close to everything. Walk 5-10 minutes north and you're in the middle of the Marais. Go 10 minutes south and west and you're in the Latin Quarter. The Pont Marie Metro stop is a quick walk away. We would happily stay here on our next visit to Paris.

Beautiful property in the best location!

Loved staying in this gorgeous apartment on the Ile Saint-Louis. I have been to Paris over 15 times and this is my favorite location, close to great cafes and my favorite neighborhoods. The apartment is pristine, high quality furnishings, big bedrooms, closets, beautiful bathrooms with robes provided- the works! We slept very comfortably in the big king beds and since your windows face a courtyard, you're shielded from any street traffic noise. Daria checked us in (and earlier than normal checkin time since our flight got in very early) and was so incredibly nice and helpful showing us everything and said she was available by text at anytime during our stay (but we didn't need her because there were zero issues during our time there) It really does look just like the pictures so it was an enjoyable, easy, comfortable stay. A bottle of wine, flower and croissants were there for us upon arrival as well which was lovely after a 9 hour flight. Highly recommend this place!
