The accommodations were wonderful. Only issue was there was an investigation problem in the kitchen. We were able to control the situation by making sure that all the food was not left on the counter.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at this beach house in Port Aransas with family and a couple close friends, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The layout was ideal for gathering together, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy.The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach. We loved the outdoor spaces, especially the pool for soaking up the sun and deck where we shared morning coffee and evening stargazing. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook family meals and celebrate together.It was the perfect setting for such a special milestone, and we’ll cherish the memories we made here. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a Port A Escape, whether for a big celebration or just a peaceful beach vacation.

We rented a golf cart from Port A Beach Buggies and that was the best decision we made because it took two minutes to get to the beach from the house. You are allowed to drive the cart across the boardwalk which makes it so very convenient. It is also so close that you can walk to the beach just as easily. ***** FIVE STARS FOR THE VIEW. The view is phenomenal. Watching the sunrise from the deck was beautiful, peaceful, and enjoyable. ***** FIVE STARS FOR THE VIBE. The beachy vibe was enhanced by this lovely, beautifully decorated home, which is ON the beach. Renting this home for the family and grandkids, with its spectacular view, spacious rooms and living area, and private pool, was a decision we don't regret. **** FOUR STARS FOR CLEANLINESS: Everything was spotless EXCEPT the jacuzzi garden tub which spit out gross mildew. The jets need cleaning and the on button won't stay on.* ONE STAR FOR HOUSE MAINTENANCE: The house could definitely use some overall maintenance. The deck seems unsafe - railing leans outward and is shaky/loose. Hardware attaching the deck to the house is completely rusted. There's a completely broken knob on the indoor grill making it unusable. There is a HOLE IN THE WALL on the outside of the house leading to the garage. While guests don't have access to the garage it is unsightly and seems unnecessary to just leave a hole in the wall. One of the bathroom doors won't lock because of shifting - door jamb should be leveled. The outdoor outlets were rusty, loose, sunken, and inaccessible. We wanted to inflate some pool toys, but the outlets were so deep into the wall the plug to the air pump couldn't reach without using an extension cord. Jacuzzi on-button needs repair.KITCHEN: Well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. However, BRING YOUR OWN DISHWASHER PODS, GARBAGE BAGS, PAPER TOWELS!POOL: Water quali

Reviewer Comments: Before I write my review, I want to give a shout out to the management team who got on my issues immediately when reported. This home is in desperate need of maintenance. Door knobs rusted and a guest got locked outoutside on deck first night. Stairwell to home had no working lighting except a small glo light which created a dangerous nightly trek. The biggest problems were the A/C unit is locked on 74° with a sign over it that reads "A/c will freeze up if lowered below 74" We were all very uncomfortable at night after being on beach with sunburns. The dryer was vented incorrectly and it blows the hot air back into the middle of the house that created a linty miserably hot mess. The house was always very humid. The house needs a desperate DEEP cleaning from cobwebs to windows cleaned. The glue from label on upper windows was never removed and is acting like a fly paper catching bugs. The jetted tub once filled and turned on was full of black mold, it scared my daughter. This home is very big and has extremely comfortable beds, the spaciousness is what sold us. If they can get it together this ho.e is worth every penny you spend on it. I would verify maintenance and housekeeping issues are resolved prior to renting first, then you will probably have a fantastic home for vacation.

The interior of the house was very nice and met our needs perfectly, however the cleaning crew needs to do a better job of cleaning under the indoor grill (pretty gross). The outside electrical outlets need to be fixed and the missing siding on the backside is an eye sore, but the pool was fantastic. We would certainly stay there again.

The pool was an extra plus for our grandkids and a great end to each beach day. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans and dinnerware. We will definitely plan to stay there again!

The Kitchen was totally awesome as we cooked most our own meals with plenty of space for multiple cooks and bartenders all while enjoying the awesome views of the gulf thru the picture windows. Multiple common areas for different groups to gather. Appreciated Grill in the garage! Definitely rent a gulf cart. The place needs a little TLC. Gave a list of things needing repair and attention. Maids did NOT clean the outside of the picture windows which had bird **** and heavy sea salt haze. Thankfully there was Windex under kitchen sink and we kept them clean. The breathtaking view from the picture windows are the first thing one notices when entering house. More attention should be taken to ensuring they are clean.

Amazing beach front property

Amazing property! The deck off the back was a favorite listening to the ocean waves. Kids loved the game room with pool table and ping pong along with arcade:) Location on beach was perfect on the quieter side of things which made it super nice- Kitchen was AMAZING and was stocked with all kid of cooking ware dished and pots and pans- Having 2 living areas was amazing- one for adults and one for kiddos! Only neg. was it was a little hot inside due to the large windows and AC did not seem to cool as good as we would have liked and we went in March- I would be a little weary of summer temps and feeling cool in the home- def bring some fans:) Other than that it was one of our favorite places to stay!

Fantastic with Fees

Let’s start with the good. The view is amazing. The property was nice and for the most part maintained. The beds were comfortable and everything appeared to be clean.The down side. The house is located at the back of a nice RV park. We stayed over new years week, the outside temp never exceeded 74, but the AC could not keep up so the house stayed very warm. The house has an outdated whole home lighting system, which partially works. The main panel didn’t works at all and the back porch panel was broken so the porch lights would not turn on. The third bathroom occasionally looked like a strobe light.The private heated pool is nice, and claims to be included. It was not heated and requires another fee for use.Be prepared for a ton of fees. The cleaning fee was outrageous and was double what we pay at other properties. Certain pets are welcome, but there are fees for the pets as well. Not a ton of grass for dogs which can cause traffic jams at the potty areas.

We adore this property, but faced some issues with water temperature, balcony safety, and flickering lights. Maintenance was very responsive, but I don't believe the issues were fixed.

The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, the pool was private & shaded, and we had an awesome bday dinner at Lisabellas in Cinnamon Shores (just 3 min away). The only thing I didn't care for was all the tar on the beach (which is outside of their control obviously), but they had a little shower with scrub brush & dawn soap at the beginning of the boardwalk for everyone to use to clean up after.

Perfect family get away

This house was perfect for our family get away. The view was beautiful! In addition to the easy beach access, our family loved the pool (plenty big enough for all of us), the foosball table was high quality (something my teenagers value), the retro arcade game was a lot of fun too. We like to cook when we travel and the kitchen was one of the best I’ve stayed in as far as new appliances and cooking utensils, etc. The RV park itself is also very nice - high end, beautiful spots, pool, ponds and rec house. We would love to stay here again!

I didn't read the rules, it's my fault, but a manager came and started yelling at my husband and son that they should wear such a thing but the person is furious. There are ways to say things, It wasn't one time, it was several times, in my point of view, it was racism. Afterwards, they looked at us badly, we no longer felt comfortable, the lights on the porch didn't work, 4K and the reality, we weren't happy

Perfect House for Family Get Togethers

There was a total of eight (8) of us during our stay, six (6) adults and two (2) children. The kids loved the bunk room and the ability to watch their own shows. Loved having enough space for all the adults to retreat to their own rooms and still feel separate from the others. The large living area and kitchen was a hit. This space was designed with conversation and working together (meal prep) in mind. Loved all the high-end appliances and the views were phenomenal. Everyone loved the pool, it looks small in the photos, but it fit our group perfectly! Not shown in the photos are the play areas below the house, there is a great pool table and ping pong table downstairs and plenty of space to park your vehicles in the large, oversized garage. My only disappointment was the complex lighting system in the home. Some of the buttons were labeled correctly, but most of the time you had to just guess what button did. Other times you had to hold buttons to make the lights operate correctly. Some time was spent trying to learn how to operate the lights and that was confusing for most everyone. Aside from the lighting issue, the home was extremely clean, everything was fresh and clean. The walk to the beach was five (5) minutes at most, it was so easy. At the boardwalk there is a shower to wash off all the sand. It really was an amazing property. Highly recommend!

Christmas at Lost and Found

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property worked out great. We were here in the RV Park and had our kids down for the holiday season and it was convenient to have them close. We made wonderful memories here.

Excellent location, beautiful view.

Can’t beat the location, easy walk over the boardwalk to the beach. Oddly in an RV park, but very nice overall. House is well apppointed. Heated pool is great, even in the cool of winter. And again, the location is the best around.
