We had a great weekend at the Emerald Isle. The unit was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed.

Snowstorm of the century!

Very nice place, great view, cleanWe were there on January 21st for the biggest snowstorm in 130 years. Spent our entire visit inside. It was very comfortable for 4 adults.

Great Place to Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean, bright, and very roomy for the two of us. The balcony was awesome, 7th floor view of the beach was incredible! Navy fly-by was the best! Having a beach umbrella/chair setup each day included was another amazing perk. We loved the building, not too big and on the east end of the large condominium buildings in Pensacola Beach. Easy to get around and see the sights! This stays is one of our favorites of many in this area!!

Fantastic Rental

The condo was exactly as advertised in listing. Clean and spacious rooms with an excellent view of the gulf. A bridge to the gulf shortens the walk in sugar white sands. It was a wonderful place to stay and will come back again.

Nice condo, great location

The condo was just as expected, based on the pictures show. I appreciated a few extra amenities that were in the condo that I have not seen in other condos, such as salt/pepper, pods for the washing machine and an extra roll of paper towels. The location was great, right on the beach and many restaurants within walking distance. We would stay here again.

On the beach from the balcony

We loved this property. Very clean. Walk in shower a plus. Love the remodel. The chairs & umbrella included such a benefit. Beds some of the most comfortable we have ever had at beach house. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook.

5 stars all around!

The place was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything was just as mentioned in the listing and also had the cutest little gift basket for the holiday. The unit had everything we needed and more with the starter kits. I would definitely recommend this place and also stay here again. Wonderful location, friendly people and a great environment for friends and family. :))

Beautiful beachside location, close to all the activities and restaurants.

Traveled with three generations and there was something for everyone. My mother enjoyed the rocking chair on the balcony. My girls loved the proximity to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this unit. Only recommendation to owner would be to change out the mattress on the sofa bed. My girls ended up sleeping only on the couch that had plenty of room.

Amazing Gulf View

This beautiful property was recently remodeled. The interior design is nice, clean, and fresh. As is typical with Emerald Isle properties, the balcony and pools are some of the wonderful perks to enjoy. The balcony provides a terrific view of the Gulf, sunrises, and sunsets. The condo is located very near shopping, restaurants, and even a convenience store. Standing half a mile from Pensacola Beach Pier, the condo is a marvelous place to kick back, relax, and enjoy all that Pensacola Beach has to offer.

Brooks Stay

Property and location are perfect. Have stayed in the Emerald Isle building many times over the years. Was a little frustrated that the water to the building was shut off on one of the days of our stay. And that was poorly communicated since the day was switched last minute. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Thank you, Scott. ☀️ Yes, that situation was frustrating. It was scheduled for a Wednesday and we did reach out to all guests prior the same day we found out. Then that day, the building switched from Wednesday to Thursday, and unfortunately, we were not notified. We were able to provide our guests with a large pack of water for the day- we hope you made use of that! Hopefully, you're able to join us the in future. Book direct with Beach Bum BB and ask for your returning guest discount when you do.

Great location and amenities!

Our stay was almost perfect. The only thing I would’ve changed is having a new mattress/bed in the master/main bedroom. There was a new one in the guest room which was extremely comfortable but was sad ours was not. Hopefully it’s updated for next time.

Great condo!

This condo was really great - view, layout, balcony. The one thing that needs to be addressed is the KS bed. I needs to be replaced. It’s very uncomfortable.

Relaxing

Beautiful view, very clean, pool was perfect and clean, I have two complaints…chair in living room was very uncomfortable and worn and needs a replacement, I would have taller chair and table outside to see over the railing. Blocks full view of ocean. I still would give all fives.

Nice location

The unit was nice and clean. Great location on Pensacola Beach. Worked great for us as we were working remotely while spending time on the beach. Wifi was great. Property manager was great to work with. All the info we needed was in the condo upon arrival. Only draw back... there were no beach chairs in the condo for use on the beach. There is an umbrella and floating and toys for the beach, just no beach chairs. You can rent some, but all vacation rentals I have stayed in before have had these available.

Rhonda, thank you so much for your feedback! We are so glad you enjoyed the condo. The condo actually does have a complimentary beach setup each day. Lazy Days Beach Rentals, the company that provides the setups on the beach extended through November this year (usually the close at the end of October) because of the beach being closed in April 2020. Just tell them you're with BB and they'll take care of you! Next time, give us a call because we could have cleared that up and offered some beach chairs if you needed extra! We look forward to your next stay.

The condo itself was beautiful, very clean, and very well maintained. We were extremely pleased with the unit and its location. Unfortunately, our overall experience was negatively impacted by several issues.We booked through VRBO and were not clearly informed that the main pool was closed due to renovations. The only pool available on-site was a much smaller pool. While the listing mentioned that the building was being renovated and part of the parking lot would be blocked off, it did not explain the extent of the construction or that we would be awakened every morning by loud construction noise directly outside our balcony.The information on VRBO was also inaccurate, making the property difficult to find. We had to call Beach Bum, the management company, for directions. Unfortunately, the representative we spoke with was rude and condescending. She acknowledged that much of the information on VRBO was incorrect, yet made us feel as though the confusion was our fault.She mentioned that she managed 17 properties next door, but instead of offering to move us to another unit, she gave us a key fob and directed us to a pool that was a considerable walk away.While the condo itself was lovely, the inaccurate listing details, ongoing construction, and poor customer service greatly diminished our stay. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking a property managed by Beach Bum.
When we were leaving, they had the awning blocked off where we could pull our vehicle in and load it up very disappointed

Thank you. We would like to clarify a few points regarding your experience. When you initially contacted our office, you stated that you had not received your arrival information or access codes. We understood you were looking in the wrong place and tried to help- even gave you codes over the phone despite your attitude about confirming your identity (for security purposes). You later spoke with a manager. While the renovation details were not reflected in the listing photos (as you mentioned that's the only thing you looked at), they were disclosed within the property description prior to booking. The tone change wasn't because we were incorrect but an effort to stop arguing and just resolve the situation. We offered an alternative, which you accepted. We did confirm that the parking situation listing (garage vs. lot) was incorrect. That has been fixed! We do hope you enjoyed a last-minute stay for your 25th birthday. We're sorry the experience did not meet your expectations, and we encourage you to use a different management company in the future.

Family vacation - 23- Smith

Excellent location. Beach bum was amazing and so helpful during our stay. Beautiful scenery. Nice beach attendance (cabana guys) super friendly ans made local recommendations. Only complaint is mouse from RM 802. Loud stomping running and bouncing balls on balcony. Shower curtain in master needs replaced or washed. Master bed needs possibly a mattress topper. Dryer made beeping noises often no in middle of the night - dries great. Middle bathroom. Door catches and won’t shut easily. Light above the sink looks to be hanging a little (maybe have that checked out for safety). Top rack of dishwasher sticks and bottom will fall out if not careful. Property Codes seems not be consistent and we often were locked out. We found one that worked in the end but for beach access (coming in) and the inside (downstairs ) often didn’t work. Access to condo was no problem. Love the touch screen! Love the decor! All appliances and dishes we could ever need. I will stay here again and will recommend.

We loved our stay! Pensacola is our favorite spot and this location is perfect. The condo is beautiful with great upgrades. Having access to the umbrella and chairs was amazing every day. The proximity to all the fun parts of Pensacola beach were easy to get to. We would totally stay here again with Beach Bum!
