Hi Asako, I appreciate your detailing of the positive points of your stay: Spacious, A Good Layout, Well Furnished, Customary and Stocked Amenities, House Internet and a Pocket Wifi device, a cleaned and fully prepared room, and an attentive host with good support, and I feel like your overall experience in my unit was far better than a 1 star experience. I do apologize that the cleaning quality was not up to your standards, however the room was fully cleaned (including vacuumed) and prepared for your stay by a professional cleaning company, and your room's preparation passed our independent Quality Assurance. This is one of our only rooms with Carpet, which is very difficult to clean throughly in the short time we have between the previous guest checking out and your checking in. We do perform deep steam cleaning of the carpet, along with deep cleanings of easily neglected areas every few months (in addition to our regular cleanings after every guest), and hold our cleaning quality to a very high standard. My building manager did ask you multiple times over the first few days whether you needed any assistance, if you had any issues, and if there was anything we could do for you, and you responded each time that you were fine and everything was OK. If you had mentioned there was anything we could have done to improve the cleaning quality, we would have gladly done this for you, but you told us you were fine at the time. Please keep in mind that we are not a proper Hotel, this is a regular apartment, and its bookings are for the unit itself, planned months in advance, so we have to schedule maintenance for things like Special cleanings around our already existing schedule. Of course, depending on the severity of an issue, we will go in and fix a bigger problem immediately for a guest who is staying, or let them change rooms in an emergency, but in general this is not possible, and we have to dedicate an entire, already free day to performing these types of tasks (which we do). We do our best to ensure our cleanings are held to as high of standards as possible, but we also sometimes have a very limited timeframe to do cleanings and preparation between guests, during which we do our best, and are happy to do more if requested, but also do our best to guarantee guests can checkin into a clean and prepared room at our scheduled checkin time.
