Great view. Great condo. Terrific response from Vacasa when we had questions. My only "suggestion" is they clean the floors better. Walking around the condo barefoot VERY dirty feet, and this was inside only.

WONDERFUL WEEK

We had a wonderful week at Sunset Terrace! Absolutely gorgeous location and view! Condo was even more beautiful than the pictures. It also was equipped with more beach items than were listed- a nice surprise! The “only” thing we missed was a King size bed in the master. My husband is 6’9” and it would have been a little more comfortable for him. We will be looking to stay there again!

Great vacation place

The view is lovely and steps to the beach. The pool was awesome too. They have a space locked up that store beach equipment, so this was nice to be provided. Furniture was great except for main bed, but didn’t ruin my stay. Fav place was the screened in balcony with awesome views of the gulf. Even fell asleep out there a few times. No bugs and got to listen to the waves!! Would stay here again for sure. Great location between the 2 bridges. The building should update their NO SMOKING sign to include weed. That was not pleasant to be sitting
enjoyable the view and that waft by. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay and would again.

Nice Condo and Location

The condo was very nice and very clean. The location was central to the island and was great. Overall, we enjoyed out stay and would stay again. The only thing that we did not like was that the road was so close - we heard traffic all night in the master bedroom and also the pool area was very noisy.

Beautiful view

This property has a gorgeous view of the ocean where you can watch the sunset every evening. The pool was nice, although max capacity it 9. It was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There was a closet with chairs and an umbrella available to use on the beach. Be aware when you rent this particular property that you have 4 flights of stairs to climb. It was fine for us, but may have been difficult for some.

Quiet family getaway

The location was great if your looking to just relax. A couple miles in either direction are restaurants and shops. So not close enough to walk, but close enough for convenience which was perfect for us. The condo has great access to the beach and storage on the ground level for all your beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. They do have all that as well for use in the storage closet if you forget like we did. Being on the 2nd floor, there were 4 flights of stairs to walk up which didn't bother us but if you have older people, it could be bothersome. Everything you could need is provided in the condo. The porch is screened in which is nice. The beach was quiet and family oriented. Everyone we encountered was pleasant. We have found our new destination for our vacations!

Beautiful Condo

This condo was beautiful and comfortable! You can't ask for a better view. There was also a storage closet at the bottom of the stairs with a beach wagon, chairs and some toys. There wasn't a cooler or a decent umbrella so we had to buy some. You're welcome to whoever the next person is that stays there because we left them behind. I can agree with one other reviewer who said black out curtains in the master bedroom would be nice. Some Windex left out would also be nice since there is a lot of glass. I don't know if I would recommend this place for bringing a toddler. My 2.5 year old son broke a lamp due to so much glass being around. đŸ€Š All in all we were very happy with this beautiful Condo and I would definitely choose it again if my toddler wasn't with us.

Great place for a couple

Very clean and modern with a fantastic view and convenient location. Very quiet when we went on Thanksgiving. It's a beach condo so you're right next to the road but that's to be expected. Some black out curtains in the master bedroom would be the only thing I would change. It's a perfect place for a couple and we would definitely stay there again if we are without the kids!

Great location but property but would not stay again - management is a red flag

First of all I would have to say that the condo is in an amazing location next to a great beach. It’s very easy to walk out of the condo down onto the beach. The view is absolutely beautiful from the patio. However there’s a lot of other things that did not go well and for that reason I wouldn’t stay here again. Cons: The door lock didn’t work and it was never fixed. The master bathroom toilet didn’t flush and we had to constantly fiddle with it was never fixed. And the AC was broken. They never fix the AC they did offer us another condo but it wasn’t anywhere near as close to the beach and we would’ve had to pay the same amount so we didn’t think that was a very good trade. They did not offer a comparable trade for what we had paid for. I have lived in Florida in Arizona for nearly 20 years and I know from experience that if you want an AC fixed it’s possible to get it fixed in an expeditious manner. The road noise is very obnoxious in the master bedroom is right on the road above the pool very difficult to sleep. The beds seem old. The second bedroom was very small and for adults the beds were not at all comfortable. Dealing with the management company was obnoxious so many calls they didn’t seem to have any idea what the other person had talked about because it’s so big they didn’t take good notes spent a lot of the time on the phone with them which I did not want to do for my vacation. Because of the road noise and the management company I would never rent here again. The floors were definitely not clean and we had to clean off many of the surfaces before we set anything on them. You couldn’t walk barefoot in the house even on the first day because your feet would turn black. It seems like they run the vacuum cleaner but maybe don’t mop the floors. **Vacassa also has been spamming my email since I booked about OTHER rental Pros Storage closet was fully stocked with chairs in ice chest and toys. The condo was fine it was appointed with low end mismatched furnishings and dishes but it everything worked fine. The patio was absolutely amazing. The view is great and you can hear the waves from the living room. There was a washer and dryer even though it was very old it worked all right. The bathrooms were good other than the master bathroom toilet not working. Bottom line is I would never rent another property with this vacation rental company (Vacassa). But I would definitely return to Anna Maria Island and get a nearby condo.

The property was great. Close to the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of towels! The trolley was good. Didn't like walking to 3rd floor with luggage and supplies for a week.

Beautiful views while on phone with Vacasa

There are many positives, convenient location to AMI favorites, beautiful views and directly on beach. Property has been decorated in beachy theme, plenty of items stocked in kitchen to make light meals and everything was clean. The negatives however, is why this is less than a 5 star rating. The property is managed by Vacasa and we found that the staff was less than attentive or concerned about the issues we had. The keypad code didn’t work and initially we could not get into the property until we called, had to provide them with our confirmation number, name, phone number and home address. This would be fine if not for the fact we had to contact 5 additional times and repeatedly needed to provide everything again and again. The keypad issue wasn’t resolved until Thursday and that was after telling them about it 3 more times. Next, the bathroom sink didn’t drain, which they did send a person within 2 hours to repair. The next morning, the kitchen faucet handle was leaking and causing water to sit on counter. This time I called, left a detailed message as no one answered. We did not receive a call back so called the next morning because the water leaking from handle was worse, causing water to be sitting on counter and dripping to floor. We dried everything, hung the kitchen rug outside to dry and threw away the entire roll of paper towel on counter that had also wicked up water. Apparently there was water even leaking into the condo below us. The property owner reached out to us to inquire if there was a leak since she received a call from the downstairs owner. Vacasa did send a plumber at that point but said the initial call was thought to be a duplicate issue (not sure how a clogged bathroom sink sounded like a leaking kitchen faucet handle). We could never just call Vacasa and say we had a problem, it always turned into a 30 minute conversation. Unless someone was there actually performing a “maintenance” checklist, these small issues became large issues. I would also suggest that as it is getting dark earlier that the dark stairwell be addressed. The decorative door lamp worked only part of the time and the flush mount light in the landing area was not functioning making the terra-cotta tile stairs difficult to navigate until you reached the first floor condos where those lights were working. It’s an older building in need of some TLC.

Can’t get a better view!

Loved this property so much. Had everything we needed and more. The only thing I would suggest would be to change the master bed with a more comfortable bed in a king size. It was pretty uncomfortable. Wouldn’t stop me from staying here again though. Everything else was perfection!
