Location was great for walking to nearby attractions/food. Not super kid friendly.On the first night, the shower head fell off the wall in the master shower. The shower in the other bathroom was subpar at best with minimal pressure and tremendous calcification on the shower head. Took Vacasa more than 24 hours to get the shower head fixed. The remainder of the condo was marginally clean at best with vents/fans/cooling ducts not having been cleaned in a LONG time. Same with areas behind the doors - lots of dust/lint/hair piled up. Spider webs on counter corners in kitchen and ants everywhere - all over the sinks in the kitchen and front bathroom. The ceiling fans only work on low and there is a huge crack in the ceiling in the master bath.The layout of the condo and location were the two best features. For what we paid for the time there, I really had much higher expectations for the response time to issues as well as the cleanliness. We request early checkin and were told no, despite the complex being completely empty when we did check in. I have attached the one photo I took.

Great location but the whole property needs some TLC. I have stayed there for years and it needs maintenance/upgrading badly! Vacasa is not very flexible either with early check in, etc.

Great location, comfortable for family

We visited Gruene for a family wedding. The location of this villa was perfect as we were able to walk to most of the planned events as well as walk to shops, restaurants, bars etc. This a 3 bedroom unit, good layout. The outside of the villas could use some updating as it looks pretty worn out but the unit itself was updated nice stylish and comfortable decor. We would definitely stay here again. .

Couples weekend stay

Stayed for a long weekend with friends. Cons:-NO storage in bedrooms beside a closet with very few hangers. No drawer storage so we kept most items in our suitcase. -Condo was NOT cleaned properly! For 180 cleaning fee we paid, I was frustrated. Drawers in bathroom were horrible, dirty and full of hair. I had to clean them before I was able to put my items in them. Floors were NOT clean (found out after spilling water and wiping up with a paper towel!!).-Patio was filthy! We had to clean table and chairs to even be able to use them. It also had not been swept either; leaves and debris everywhere.-Condo property overall is in dis-repair. Landscaping needs trimmed/cleaned up. Common area on way to river is dirty, not kept up and virtually unusable. Stair spindles broke. General sweeping/cleaning up needed everywhere. Overall property looks old and dated. Pulling up to it, husband was not happy that this was where we would be staying.Pros:-King beds in main bedrooms which is great for 2 couples.-Super close to all shops and restaurants!-fairly decent view from patio

Great location and beautiful home

The location of this Vacasa is great to walk to all the sites of Gruene. The pool was a wonderful spot to meet other vacationers and have fun. The views are incredible. The Vacasa customer service is outstanding.

Close to EVERYTHING!

We were on a girl's trip and this location was absolutely perfect for us! Close to shopping, wine, restaurants, and live music. Literally next door to Gruene Hall. Don't let the exterior fool you - it does look pretty old and needs updating, however, the inside of this condo was updated, cute and had just enough of what we needed! Had our own parking spot which was great, and we felt completely safe as they had a very nice security guard patrolling on a pretty busy night. I'd stay at this location again.
