Treten Sie durch die Eingangstür dieses charmanten Landhauses in einen Wohnbereich mit einem gemütlichen Kamin und einer bequemen Couch, auf der Sie sich bequem einrollen können, und schauen Sie Ihren Lieblingsfilm auf dem Flachbildfernseher. Eine Pantry-Küche mit Mainstream-Geräten aus Edelstahl und allen Kochutensilien, die Sie für ein Familienessen ben��tigen. Ein Essbereich für 6 Personen liegt um die Ecke, damit sich die ganze Familie hinsetzen und eine Mahlzeit genießen kann. Öffnen Sie die schönen Französisch Türen von diesem Essbereich zu einem großen Bildschirm Veranda mit zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten an der langen Picknicktisch w / Sitzbänke und zusätzliche Stühle. Eine Feuerstelle steht Ihnen zur Verfügung, um Marshmallows zu grillen. Das Hauptgeschoss dieses Hauses bietet ein Queen-Schlafzimmer mit Kabel-TV und Kommode für alle Ihre Sachen für das Gefühl von zu Hause versteckt werden. Ein Badezimmer im Hauptgeschoss ist mit einer alleinstehenden Waschmaschine und einem Trockner ausgestattet.

Manatees Resort

Great stay and amazing resort. House was very clean and spacious and just what we expected for our family trip. Location right next to playground for our young kids and golf cart was a bonus. Resort is great too, plenty to do to keep everyone entertained. And close access to travel to surrounding beach towns. Will stay again for sure!

It really made it easy getting around to all the different activities and areas of the resort. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. Some things to improve would be an ice and water dispenser for the fridge and the bed on the first floor was really hot. Not sure if it was the mattress or sheets or both. I would recommend this house and resort to my friends and those looking for a great family beach vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Manatee’s Retreat. The location can’t be beat with it being close to the park and a short walk to the activity enter to rent paddle boards and kayaks. We had 3 kids with us and the top bunk was unusable. It made so much noise with the slightest turn that the person on the top and bottom bunk couldn’t sleep. We ended up having the top bunk kid sleep on the couch. The couch was a whole other story. It was so gross that they threw a blankets all over it to cover the stains and rips. I hate to complain because we had a great trip, but these houses are expensive and want to leave an honest review. The cleaning company did a great job. It was spotless. The house just needs someone to run through it and update beds and couches for the price you pay.

Love Beachwalk Resort

We absolutely love the resort area with all the amenities and the property was in the perfect location away from the main street and away from a lot of other people. The property was surrounded by trees and had a great outdoor screened in patio a great firepit area. The house could definitely use a little attention. The TV's were the old tube TV's and were poor quality. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart, the carpet in the living room was dirty and so was the couch. The beds were comfortable in all the rooms and the bathrooms were clean. The place just needs a little sprucing up. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back. Close to the beach, has a great pool for the kids and golf cart to get everywhere on the property.

The staff were wonderful to work with and provided a high chair at no additional cost. The home was clean and well maintained. It was much larger inside than I expected and each floor had its own room. It for our family of 5 perfectly. The full kitchen and large dining table were just what we needed compared to other homes we looked at. The couch was large to fit us all as well. And the egg chair was a hit! I do wish there was one pressure gate that we could rent or a couple of them that stay at this home for safety. We pushed two footstools to the bottom of the stairs to deter our baby climbing alone. Also the fire pit and outdoor back chairs sit in a tree covered area so you are continually dealing with acorns or squirrels overhead dropping them on you. If a few of the smaller trees were cut out, it looks like the landscaping goes further as does the rock area. It needs just a little updating in the back. The covered porch was great as well and we were able to watch deer in the mornings. And the golf cart was a fabulous addition being in the back of the complex. We loved our beach time and park play! A fabulous stay at manatee retreat! Thank you! Will come again! Can’t wait!

The neighborhood is like a beach community with a lot offered by the neighborhood. The golf cart was great taking us to the beach each day. The house was clean, stocked, and large. We would absolutely come here again.

A Mostly Great Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at Beachwalk and our first time at Manatees Retreat. Overall, it was a great experience. Nice location near the playground and the golf cart made getting to the beach, pool, clubhouse very convenient. Appreciated beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc in the little shed. The house was clean, but not sparkling. One TV did not work at all, the others were a bit finicky. The couch needs to be replaced (lots of stains). Kitchen could use a little TLC - 1 cabinet door was broken, a few chipped dishes, no potholders. Fire ring was nice for an evening relaxing around a campfire. Screened in porch was lovely! A place to hang up wet towels might be nice if it could be added somewhere. 5 minute drive to restaurants and outlet mall in Michigan City.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect size for our party of 4, 3 generations. My mom stayed on the 1st floor in the larger bedroom with bath. I utilized the 2nd floor bedroom (comfy bed) with my kids on the top floor. Loved the golf cart (made my mother's mobility much easier) and beach chairs, umbrella, etc... Kitchen sized just right for us. New grill- we used it to grill fresh caught salmon from Lake Michigan that AM. This is our 3rd stay in the resort area (1st at this house). Good location. Cons were: 2nd fl bedroom has very little storage for clothes. Two drawers are nailed shut. The third has the nails protruding from them, which snagged my clothes and was a safety hazard. I did alert resort staff via the feedback form. The 3rd floor bunk bed is so noisy it wakes everyone when the person in the bunk moves (lots of squeaks and creaks). An AC type unit on the 3rd floor is necessary to keep the cool temp, but very loud, so you couldn't hear the TV when it was on unless you turned it up very loud.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the necessary things, and everything was clean. We loved being by the playground and the golf cart was a favorite way to travel around Beachwalk. The small fire pit in the back was perfect for s’more making. We had two minor complaints: - there was limited hot water for baths/showers and we all experienced cold showers throughout the stay - the screened in porch needed some cleaning Overall, great stay and we would stay again!

There is a playground right next door and a golf cart to use. I liked the community, with fun family activities. The houses are quite close, grilling and fire pit evenings are not private. The quiet hours are not really observed as there was a party next door and firecrackers until midnight. Another negative was the main floor bedroom bed with its crunchy protective sheet. I understand trying to save the mattress but would have been better with a higher quality sheet that didn’t feel like it was old fashioned bed-wetter plastic. I was pleased to see they upgraded the tv’s however. They were all smart tv’s with great wifi. Overall, this place was terrific!

Couch is old and not comfortable.Our golf cart was in bad shape, no headlights. We received a replacement but not until 3 days into our stay. Air conditioning was inadequate, hot upstairs, freezing downstairs. Stairs should have a runner or carpeting, very slippery.

It's such a cute little beach community and wed love to come back. The pool was great and having access to the little beach and the beach walk is great. There's a nice little playground right near the place, my daughter loved that. We have no complaints. The place was cutely decorated and bright and felt very relaxing. We had everything needed and the people at the beach walk resort are helpful in case you do need something which is nice. We went swimming at the pool and beach, shopping, explored a few shops and farmers markets and ate out a few times and grilled the rest.

The AC was not able to keep up in cooling the home well, especially upstairs, even with "staggered" drops as requested. I'm glad the daily temps were rarely in the 80's during our stay. Painting touch ups would be good cosmetic details — and no cover on the chair cushion in the living room was not super comfortable. In general, we had a great stay at Beachwalk and were super thankful for the golf cart.
