This beautiful flat was the perfect home base for our Ireland vacation. It was clean, luxurious, and very spacious. The eat-in kitchen was a great spot to have our breakfast, and the cozy living room was the perfect space to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of sightseeing. The adorable town of Kenmare is at your doorstep, with plenty of shops and restaurants a few steps away. We would absolutely stay here again. We can’t recommend it enough!

What a great stay!! We loved the apartment and how well equipped it was! We needed nothing! We appreciate the little things like tea, coffee, cleaning supplies, even laundry supplies. Great location and we thoroughly enjoyed Kenmare! Finding where to park was hard at first! After we dropped a pin to make it easy to return. One note laundry is shared with the other rental.

If you are going to stay in Kenmare, this is the place! The location is perfect with everything you would want steps from the door. Excellent restaurants, bakeries, chocolate shop, and pubs plus a few convenient stores. The unit itself is luxury level and spotless. Sarah and others were extremely helpful, and answered all our questions during the stay and the use of laundry after many day trip was an added bonus. We found Kenmare to be one of the best towns we visited along the entire west coast. Top marks for this stay across the board.

Very Nice, convenient property

Very clean, comfortable, conveniently located property. Only negative was that there was no mention of the amount of stairs that needed to be climbed.

Great location

We stayed in this darling apartment for 3 nights as we toured the island. The location is perfect and Kenmare is a great little town. We enjoyed the restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 4 and we would definitely stay here again.

Cozy escape in beautiful Kenmare

We had a wonderful time in this flat in the heart of Kenmare. Above The White Room shop, it is secluded, private and quiet, yet within walking distance of all the great pubs, restaurants and shops Kenmare has to offer. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped, this is a real gem. Would love to stay again.

A wonderful stay in Kenmare

We had a wonderful time in Kenmare and the Shrubbery Mews apartment could not have been lovelier. It is in the center of town, close to everything, and the apartment is beautifully finished and appointed. Sarah and Tracey were the perfect hosts. I highly recommend.

Perfect spot for two couples in heart of Kenmare

We really enjoyed this perfectly curated townhouse in the very center of Kenmare. Stayed four nights with another couple. Fantastic kitchen, nice living area, comfortable bedrooms, small but well laid-out bathrooms. Half bath downstairs was a nice bonus. Everything the town has to offer is right outside your door. Great coffee, breakfast and pastries at both Maison Gourmet and Bean & Batch. Big thumbs up!

Fantastic apartment

We had a lovely, relaxing break in this gorgeous apartment. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, we felt very much at home from the start of our visit. A fabulous apartment in a lovely town

We really enjoyed our stay in this excellent apartment, which was clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. Situated in the centre of Kenmare with easy access to the attractions of the town. Kenmare itself is a very attractive town, with many artisanal shops and many quality restaurants. A bonus was the secure parking provided by the owners. The countryside around is breathtaking with lovely seascapes and mountain scenery. We would highly recommend this property.

Very nice

The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. Plenty of space, clean and well laid out. Sarah and team left a nice bottle of wine and a welcome gift - a nice touch. There are stairs so you'll need to be able to climb them to get into apartment, but they are wide and easy to climb. Close to everything in town and very walkable. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Ideal Location

Beautiful furnished apartment with everything you would need, with private car parking at the rear. Kenmare is a beautiful village with lots of pubs and restaurants and you are just a walk away. To explore further you couldn't be in a better position. Finally, we received a warm welcome from Tracey and we knew if we had any problems she was close by. Hopefully one day we will return. Gracious living in the heart of Kenmare

We spent a week exploring Kenmare and Shrubbery Mews was the perfect headquarters: luxurious, located right above a chic high street shop and steps away from restaurants, markets, historic walks, plus easy parking. The team are welcoming and always available for questions. The apartment is comfortable, quiet and very easy to use. Kitchen is fully-equipped and large. The 2.5 bathrooms have plenty of hot water and great showers, all modern fixtures. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and our deep dive into the cultural richness of this beautiful corner of Ireland. Thank you, Sarah and friends. It was a magical week.

A Lovely Apartment in a Lovely Town

Imagine a postcard picture of a lovely Irish town. Imagine a pretty linen and other homeware store in the centre of town. Imagine that the store owner has furnished a charming, comfortable and spacious two story apartment above that store. That is Shrubbery Mews. It is clean, well appointed and has a large, eat-in country kitchen which is fully appointed with all you need to eat at home. We had arranged to meet friends in Kenmare and had them over for two nights for dinner and wine. If you prefer to eat out, there are Pubs, bakeries and nice restaurants literally at your door step. The bedrooms were not only country chic, but very comfortable. I would be proud to recommend Shrubbery Mews to family or good friends.

Beautifully decorated

Overall, very good. Although the location is on the high street, it was quiet. Parking is very good, secure and easy to access. Host very friendly and the bottle of wine was a nice touch. Beds are not super king, although there is room in the bedrooms, but were comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed to be well equipped. Suggestions for future guests Put dressing tables in the bedroom. There was no socket near a mirror which made drying your hair difficult. Nowhere to sit and dry your hair or put on makeup. A magnifying mirror is a good idea.
