Ein wunderschönes Haus im mediterranen Stil mit einer warmen und modernen Einrichtung im Strandstil. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist groß und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett (Gänsedaunenbett), Kabel-TV / Videorecorder, einen gemütlichen (und romantischen) Gaskamin und eine Terrasse auf der Rückseite. Das zweite Obergeschoss ist ideal für Kinder oder zusätzliche Gäste. Mit einem Ausziehbett (Etagenbett mit zwei Einzelbetten oben und unten sowie einem ausziehbaren Bett mit Gänsedaunenbett). Dieses Zimmer hat auch einen Fernseher / Videorecorder. Das Gemeinschaftsbad verfügt über zwei Toiletten, eine schöne Dusche mit Porzellanfliesen und einen Whirlpool. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls auf dieser Etage.

Die untere Etage hat eine schöne und einfach zu bedienende voll ausgestattete Küche mit Granit. Der Wohnbereich verfügt über einen großen Fernseher mit DVD / VCR / STEREO / CD und ein Leder Queen Schlafsofa. Vergessen wir nicht einen Kamin für die kühle Winternacht oder einfach zum Aufwärmen am Abend nach einem Tag am Strand! Das Schlafzimmer auf dieser Etage verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Bett (wieder alle unten), TV / VCR und ein eigenes Vollbad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Das hintere Deck verfügt über einen eingebauten Gasgrill, eine Terrasse und eine Außendusche. Alles was Sie für Ihren Catalina Island Urlaub brauchen!

Cute condo, great location

Had a wonderful time with my kids on Easter weekend. Walking distance to everything, without having to climb any of the surrounding hills. Condo had all the necessities, and Amy was super accomodating with check in/out times, much appreciated!

Fantastic Catalina getaway

The house was centrally located in Avalon. Easy access to Vons and front street. The accommodations were very nice. The host responded quickly to my questions. This is a GREAT place to rent for a weekend in Avalon. I highly recommend this rental on VRBO.👍

Great base for Avalon outings

We enjoyed this house, and it was a great location for us to get down to the beach, rent a motor boat to enjoy the ocean around the city, take a golf cart tour on a route throughout Avalon, and get in and enjoy the cool, clear blue water at the beach. The house was in walkable distance for many fine restaurants and Vons for snacks and necessities, and the weather was perfect for our visit. Amy and Eric were very helpful in communication and providing assistance when needed, and we all enjoyed our time in Avalon!

I’m not even sure where to begin. When we arrived the house was so dirty we cleaned and mopped before unpacking. There was blood on a comforter and door frame, empty beer cans in a dresser, and we didn’t take our shoes off the whole stay because of the filth. In addition to that, there weren’t any supplies- no WiFi, no beach towels, no hand soap, not enough coffee cups for the number of people, one wine glass, no opener, the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. I really can’t believe the state the house was in and that we actually paid for that.

The house is decorated very well and is pleasant to stay in. The location is superb and fun to walk a few blocks to the main drag. It is very clean and well appointed. I do agree with some other people that a new couch would be good! But, everything else is awesome and the owner is super nice.

Convenient to town

Overall I did like the location of this property. It was close to Vons and to the town and since we had a one year old with us that was very convenient. It is a little bit noisy being on a main street however we dealt with that using our white noise. It was a bit hot inside since we were there in August but it was manageable. We would stay there again.

Hi Patrick, Thank you for the review. As I mentioned to you during your stay, the company that provides WiFi on the island is not reliable, at all! We are looking into installing Starlink this next Spring. We do provide paper towels and I let my crew know that you didn’t have any. I apologize about that. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap. And, I don’t advertise that we do. I have sent someone over to look at the sink. I’m not sure what you are referring to as far as the counters? Ah, the staircase, one of my biggest headaches every time I go over there. People just aren’t careful. The home was completely repainted in May and I’m going over in a couple weeks to address that dreaded task. Thank you again for your review.

The home was clean and well maintained. It's not a huge home but it was more than ample for 6 adults. Everything worked without exception. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of meal. Vons is just a block away and the board walk just a couple more blocks. The owner Amy is congenial and helpful. For the cost we believe it's the best deal in town.

Nice location and comfortable stay

We had a delightful stay at this charming house, ideally located within a leisurely stroll from the beach and conveniently close to Von’s grocery store—perfect for our culinary adventures during our visit. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, catering to all our cooking needs, although a refresh of appliances could enhance the experience even further. While the washer could benefit from a bit more attention, it was a minor detail in what was an overall clean and welcoming environment. Our stay was made even more pleasant by the responsive and helpful nature of our host and caretaker, who promptly addressed our inquiries and requests. We truly enjoyed our time here and look forward to future visits!

Enjoyed our stay. House was bright & clean. For owner information: Towels were a little rough. Being a house for 8 it was hard not having enough space at a table for meals or games. The shower upstairs does not drain… and trash bin was completely full. But again overall was a fantastic week. Thank you!

Great location, accessible owner, needs attention in kitchen, bathrooms and WIFI.

This home is in a great location just a few blocks from the main street in Avalon. The layout is good for a family on two levels. The owner responded quickly to questions and made the check in easy. She also let us check in early and stay late on check out day. Super nice!This experience would be much better if the kitchen, bathroom, and entertainment system had more attention. The kitchen had no sharp knives, not enough coffee mugs for 5 adults, only 2 wine glasses (we bought 4). The bathrooms ran on low toilet paper, had hand soap but no bar soap or shampoo for shower, and 4 towels for 5 people in house that sleeps 8. There is no WIFI (this was cllearly stated in the description) but the DirectTV and TV option had two DVD's and virtually no channels worth watching. We spent most of our time exploring beautiful Catalina but on the rainy day we were looking for options inside.

The property has enough space for the 8 of us. It is very close to Von’s supermarket (few mins walk), excellent location due to close proximity to the beach area. We stayed 2 nights, we were only provided with 1 toilet paper & 1 kitchenpaper towel; I informed the property mgr, Amy, who said she will have a cleaner deliver some but didnt happen (so prepare to buy ur own); theres no body soap too. For the price we paid, I expected enough essentials. The toilet upstairs was clogged, good thing we fixed it with a plunger. Lastly, we were not aware that there was no wifi in the property. Overall, we were happy with the location and kitchen amenities.

Perfect house and location for groups or families.

Our first annual family vacation got off to a perfect start at this home. The house was large enough to comfortably fit our group of 5 adults and one almost 2 year old. We were in the front unit which was great for the little one. He loved sitting out front people watching, checking out the traffic and making friends while blowing soap bubbles. Passer bys stopped to chat and within a day, we knew eachother's name. The street can get a little busy during "rush hours" (Ha!) but it is also very convenient to downtown, the new Vons grocery store and Avalon Canyon Road which leads to the Botanical Gardens. It will also take you to the Sandtrap Restaurant and Bar. A very casual Mexican & American place serving breakfast, lunch & happy hour with a pet-friendly patio. Great margaritas! Back to the house... It was clean and well supplied for all that we needed.

Great location

The house is quaint & in a super location & we had a great time but we had issues with the following: 1. Glass door blinds in family room are broken & glass doors are very hard to open & close. 2. Sleeper sofa is broken (the part that pulls out) 3. The second single bed in bunk room is a hidden trundle that is very dirty / unusable 4. The upstairs shower faucet doesn’t work properly - hard to shut off 5. No dish soap or amenities in bathrooms 6. Beach chairs are outside & too dirty to use 7. A bit of miscommunication upon check in (never received check in email) but this was resolved. On a positive note the bbq works great & the house has amazing potential.

Thank you for your review. Thank you also for making me aware of some items. A couple things, We do provide dishwasher tabs for our guests to use and there should have been plenty along with dish soap. We do not provide shower amenities as most guests prefer their own and those little bottles are horrible for the environment. We do not provide beach chairs, they do not tend be left at the home upon guests check out. We tried. Those must have been left over from other guests. I had emailed the guest over a week before their stay. My email was not accepted by guests server therefore she had me email her spouse. I do appreciate, again, learning of other issues to address.
