Ein wunderschönes Haus im mediterranen Stil mit einer warmen und modernen Einrichtung im Strandstil. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist groß und verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett (Gänsedaunenbett), Kabel-TV / Videorecorder, einen gemütlichen (und romantischen) Gaskamin und eine Terrasse auf der Rückseite. Das zweite Obergeschoss ist ideal für Kinder oder zusätzliche Gäste. Mit einem Ausziehbett (Etagenbett mit zwei Einzelbetten oben und unten sowie einem ausziehbaren Bett mit Gänsedaunenbett). Dieses Zimmer hat auch einen Fernseher / Videorecorder. Das Gemeinschaftsbad verfügt über zwei Toiletten, eine schöne Dusche mit Porzellanfliesen und einen Whirlpool. Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich ebenfalls auf dieser Etage.

Die untere Etage hat eine schöne und einfach zu bedienende voll ausgestattete Küche mit Granit. Der Wohnbereich verfügt über einen großen Fernseher mit DVD / VCR / STEREO / CD und ein Leder Queen Schlafsofa. Vergessen wir nicht einen Kamin für die kühle Winternacht oder einfach zum Aufwärmen am Abend nach einem Tag am Strand! Das Schlafzimmer auf dieser Etage verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Bett (wieder alle unten), TV / VCR und ein eigenes Vollbad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Das hintere Deck verfügt über einen eingebauten Gasgrill, eine Terrasse und eine Außendusche. Alles was Sie für Ihren Catalina Island Urlaub brauchen!

Amy was great to work with very communicative. The locations was a 7-10 min to the main boardwalk straight down Sumner Rd and 4-5 min to Von’s grocery store and the location where you meet a lot of the land excursions offered on the island. We had a great time.

Well, I don’t advertise that the house has WiFi. I allowed your belongings to be brought in at 2 and, we were obviously still working on the house’s. I personally spent two days in that house on my hands and knees scrubbing floors, cleaning windows and blinds. I also wiped down all the walls and baseboards, ect. The only thing I didn’t get to was the ceiling fan, lol. Hope you still enjoyed the island.

Perfect location very walkable. House was a little dirty. Downstairs tile was sticky in spots. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and no clean sponge to wash dishes. Spiders everywhere in both bathrooms. There were only 4 towels 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs for 5 adults and 2 children. The Direct TV did not work.

I apologize if the house was not as clean as you expected. I will say that the island is quite a dirty place considering so little of it is built up. Spiders show up overnight, not much I can do there. I apologize about the dirty dishes in the dishwasher, I let the cleaning staff know. Sponges are being restocked as we speak. I do recall that Eric assisted you with the towel situation advising you as to where the extras were. As far as the Directv goes, I had that checked today and all are operational. You had mine and Eric’s number during your stay and you never mentioned a problem with the TV’s. I allowed an early check in and, I would have appreciated a call with your concerns rather than giving me a low review. I hope you and your family were still able to enjoy the island.

This property is a great location and it’s a nice layout for a family with the three bedrooms, the upstairs downstairs, and the two bathrooms. The location is also wonderful; not too close to town not too far away. The host was fantastic; she responded in a timely manner, if not immediately. She was receptive to some of the feedback that I gave her. Sometimes owners don’t know details about their properties because someone else is managing them. This property needs a little bit of work, and could’ve been a little cleaner. For the price, I expected some basic amenities- there was only one roll of paper towels, one or two rolls of toilet paper and a couple of old sponges for a family of six. Some basic cleaning wipes would’ve been nice to have, like Clorox wipes, Windex… We had to purchase those ourselves. Some foamy soaps in the bathrooms, some hooks on the backs of doors to hang things, maybe a couple of throw rugs on the floors would be simple additions to make one feel they’re getting their money’s worth. Everything worked, but the bathrooms need a little bit of an upgrade as far as the shower and faucets. Be aware that there is no air-conditioning and no Internet. We actually loved that, but if you’re a big AC person, you might want to know that ahead of time. Plenty of cool breezes going through the place and plenty to do in Catalina without Internet.

Cute condo, great location

Had a wonderful time with my kids on Easter weekend. Walking distance to everything, without having to climb any of the surrounding hills. Condo had all the necessities, and Amy was super accomodating with check in/out times, much appreciated!

Fantastic Catalina getaway

The house was centrally located in Avalon. Easy access to Vons and front street. The accommodations were very nice. The host responded quickly to my questions. This is a GREAT place to rent for a weekend in Avalon. I highly recommend this rental on VRBO.👍

Great base for Avalon outings

We enjoyed this house, and it was a great location for us to get down to the beach, rent a motor boat to enjoy the ocean around the city, take a golf cart tour on a route throughout Avalon, and get in and enjoy the cool, clear blue water at the beach. The house was in walkable distance for many fine restaurants and Vons for snacks and necessities, and the weather was perfect for our visit. Amy and Eric were very helpful in communication and providing assistance when needed, and we all enjoyed our time in Avalon!

The house is decorated very well and is pleasant to stay in. The location is superb and fun to walk a few blocks to the main drag. It is very clean and well appointed. I do agree with some other people that a new couch would be good! But, everything else is awesome and the owner is super nice.

Convenient to town

Overall I did like the location of this property. It was close to Vons and to the town and since we had a one year old with us that was very convenient. It is a little bit noisy being on a main street however we dealt with that using our white noise. It was a bit hot inside since we were there in August but it was manageable. We would stay there again.

Hi Patrick, Thank you for the review. As I mentioned to you during your stay, the company that provides WiFi on the island is not reliable, at all! We are looking into installing Starlink this next Spring. We do provide paper towels and I let my crew know that you didn’t have any. I apologize about that. We do not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap. And, I don’t advertise that we do. I have sent someone over to look at the sink. I’m not sure what you are referring to as far as the counters? Ah, the staircase, one of my biggest headaches every time I go over there. People just aren’t careful. The home was completely repainted in May and I’m going over in a couple weeks to address that dreaded task. Thank you again for your review.

The home was clean and well maintained. It's not a huge home but it was more than ample for 6 adults. Everything worked without exception. The kitchen had everything needed for any type of meal. Vons is just a block away and the board walk just a couple more blocks. The owner Amy is congenial and helpful. For the cost we believe it's the best deal in town.

We had a delightful stay at this charming house, ideally located within a leisurely stroll from the beach and conveniently close to Von’s grocery store—perfect for our culinary adventures during our visit. The kitchen was impressively well-equipped, catering to all our cooking needs, although a refresh of appliances could enhance the experience even further. While the washer could benefit from a bit more attention, it was a minor detail in what was an overall clean and welcoming environment. Our stay was made even more pleasant by the responsive and helpful nature of our host and caretaker, who promptly addressed our inquiries and requests. We truly enjoyed our time here and look forward to future visits!

Enjoyed our stay. House was bright & clean. For owner information: Towels were a little rough. Being a house for 8 it was hard not having enough space at a table for meals or games. The shower upstairs does not drain… and trash bin was completely full. But again overall was a fantastic week. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your review! We are going to address the dining situation and install a booth type seating. Towels will be replaced and, thank you for letting me know about the shower! The trash situation has already been addressed. The company simply missed our pick up. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay.
