Naturreservat mit Wildtieren und gemütlichen Ecken
In the authentic holiday town of Rørvig, you'll find a small oasis, perfect for the couple or the small family that loves to be close. Life is meant to be lived here, even when you can't be outside, which is why a virtue has been made of merging indoor and outdoor life. The house is small, but allows you to be close to each other in a cozy and relaxing environment.
The heart of the house consists of a kitchen family room where you can enjoy the nature that is just outside the large panoramic windows, whether you're sitting on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove or at the dining table. In this holiday home, lots of food is cooked, which is evident in the kitchen, which is well equipped with far more than is normally expected of a kitchen in a holiday home. You'll find everything from copper pots and delicious steak knives to a large selection of spices, both dried and fresh - if the deer haven't discovered them first. The decor is French country style with a twist, where everything has a history and has been lovingly collected over the years. It creates a very special atmosphere with handicrafts and flea market finds in rustic shapes and molds. The house has two bedrooms; one with a double bed and direct access to the terrace to the west, and one with two single beds that can be pulled apart if desired. The house has everything you need, no more, no less.
The grand staircase connected to the wooden terrace also serves as the perfect place to sip an ice-cold glass of rosé and hang out on the large cushions when the sun is highest in the sky. The garden is wild on purpose, with paths in the grass wandering around the large grounds. Here you can explore the nooks and crannies of the garden, where you can gather around an outdoor shower or fire pit. The grounds are not suitable for ball games or the like, but rather for immersion, slowing down and enjoying the rich wildlife that comes close by. So if you're into nature, this cottage is ideal for a down-to-earth get-away.
Rørvig offers great places to eat, a harbor environment and a cozy pedestrian street. During the high season there are also many flea markets and local farm shops with fresh produce, and at Whitsun many artists gather and exhibit their work. Take your bike and experience the rolling fields and green forests before reaching a spot where you can glimpse the fjord, close to a small café with homemade pies and freshly brewed coffee. With a liberating tranquillity and beauty, you can take a long walk to the bird sanctuary in Hov Vig, where you can see a sea eagle and get red cheeks. You are welcome to bring your dog, however, the garden is not fenced.
