Historisches Haus am Wald und See in Småland

In this charming log cabin from 1785, known as Sågen, an authentic experience awaits you in the middle of Småland's scenic surroundings. The house's history as a former sawmill by the dammed lake gives the place a very special character, where past and present meet in perfect harmony.





The completely renovated house offers a large 35 m2 kitchen as the natural gathering point of the house. The original plank floors and exposed log walls create a warm atmosphere, while the cozy living room with space for the whole family invites you to relax. On the first floor, you will find an extra living room with a TV and games.





The garden is a chapter unto itself, with a south-facing terrace where you will find a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. Enjoy the view of fruit trees, birch groves, and lawns, or relax by the fire pit down by the stream. The restored lake with a bathing jetty offers the opportunity for a refreshing dip.





From this base, you can explore Småland's unique nature with rolling landscapes, lakes, and forests. Head to Ramkvilla, just 5 km away, with its charming Puttes Lanthandel shop, visit the local golf course, or book a relaxing hot tub at the Ramoa activity center. Hörnebo slate quarry is a must-see with its atmospheric concerts in the summer.
