Surrounded by fields and forests, you'll find a newly renovated cottage that blends old country idyll with new, beautiful details. The cottage is a former farmhouse with thatched roofs and mullioned windows, which originally consisted of three wings. The decor is a mix of Gustavian and seaside hotel style, creating a cool blend of timeless charm and what we Danes associate with a true summer cottage atmosphere.
There is a large, functional kitchen and a large dining room with plenty of space for the whole family, as well as nine beds and two bathrooms, both with showers. Outside, you'll find a large patio with a hot tub, a cozy fire pit to gather around when darkness falls, and a barbecue, which together create the perfect setting for true Danish cottage life. If you prefer privacy, you also have the option to book the entire farm. Otherwise, there may be the opportunity to say hello to the other guests staying in the annex every now and then. In addition, the sweet family provides bedding and other similar services, as well as catering if desired, so you don't have to spend time on practical tasks and can just relax as soon as you arrive.
Near the house is Rideruten Thy, which is a marked horseback riding route through the beautiful Thy National Park. If you don't bring horses, fear not, as the area offers beautiful nature and wildlife galore, as well as Bulbjerg, Denmark's only bird cliff. So put on your hiking boots and head out on an adventure in beautiful surroundings. You can also take your bike and head down to the beautiful beach. Here you can take a cool dip, watch the sunset and enjoy the sound of the sea. On your way home, stop by the local fishmonger to buy fresh fish for dinner and pick flowers from the roadside to decorate your room. Not far from the cottage you'll also find cozy Blokhus with its iconic bathhouses on the beach, Klitmøller and the world-famous Thy National Park.
