Perfect location for Carcassonne and also the fabulous beaches which were a great suprise. The property was well kept and spacious and very convenient to walk into Narbonne.The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks a little English. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Great apartment

The outside terrace and pool were very enjoyable, though in June the pool was too cold for us to do more than put our feet in. The one downside is if you are tall the upper floor has beams that are only 5’-11” clear (180 cm) and you have to duck when you walk under them. Great location easy to walk to the center of town. Roseline our host even met us at the train station and drove us there. Wonderful of her.

Perfect apartment and wonderful host

Roseline is the perfect host who went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. Prior to our arrival she provided her E-mail and mobile number so we could communicate easily. On our arrival, she met us at the rail station to take us to the apartment and dropped us off there again after our stay . She had provided fresh fruit, water and wine for our arrival. After dropping off our luggage Roseline took us to the supermarket to get some shopping which was above and beyond . The apartment was perfect for my husband and I, comfortable beds, nice linens and well equipped kitchen. We particularly enjoyed the terrace and pool . Throughout our stay Roseline was available for any queries we had but did not intrude in any way .

Charming Corner of Narbonne

We enjoyed a perfect week at this property in Narbonne. As other reviewers have noted, Roseline could not have been a better host - always available but careful of our privacy and never intrusive. The apartment is perfectly located for excellent access to Narbonne's many markets, shops and restaurants - all within a 5-minute walk. It is also easy to get out of Narbonne by car and it therefore makes a good base to explore nearby villages and towns or to head for the coast. The courtyard pool is a real bonus at the end of a long day - a great place to cool off. We would recommend this apartment - either for a couple or a couple with small children. Two couples might feel a lack of privacy. Overall it was a very enjoyable week and we would have no hesitation in strongly recommending this apartment to others looking to enjoy a few days exploring Narbonne and its lovely surroundings.

Very enjoyable stay

Communication from Roseline was very good even prior to arrival, and was out to greet us the moment we arrived, showed us the place and then although she lives in the apartment above, was very respectful of privacy from then on, but also very friendly when we did see her. For us the apartment was perfect, and it was very cool inside even when outside temperature was above 30 deg. Also great to have a pool to ourselves and the small courtyard. The upstairs where the rooms are is good size, but travellers should be aware that it is not two separate bedrooms, but two beds out of sight of each other and separated by a screen. This suited us well and would suit many families, but might not suit others so good to be aware. Narbonne itself was also very nice, and if you have a car its an easy 25 minute drive to the beach. Overall a very nice break and if we are in Narbonne in the future we would want to stay here again.

Ceci car l'appartement est conçu dans l'esprit loft et afin de préserver la luminosité. De plus, poser une porte coulissante est impossible à cause des poutres. le charme de l'ancien mais aussi ses inconvénients. je serais ravie de vous recevoir à nouveau et j'espère que votre si adorable fille a séché ses larmes de quitter la piscine. Family week in Narbonne August 2022

We spent a week in this property with our children aged 11 and 13. This property is ideally located around 5 minutes walk from the main square and restaurant area of Narbonne making it easy to come and go as you please. Parking is straightforward as we always found a spot either on the road itself or within 20 meters if you are coming by car. The apartment layout is kitchen/dining downstairs with living area with access through double doors to the outside pool area with the stairs leading to an open area that is split in two by the staircase with sleeping areas to the left and right - there re no doors to this so if you are in couples don't expect any privacy! but is fine for a family - it also makes the air conditioning work for the whole apartment well and its a good thing that it has air con as it was very warm in Narbonne at the time we were there. One thing to note is that the bathroom is quite small and is accessed via a door in the kitchen - we got by as a family of 4 but I suspect with larger groups this may be a problem. The outside area is great and we spent most of our time whilst at the apartment outside around the pool area - its a great way to cool down after a day at the beach - there is BBQ that you can use as well. Narbonne beach is fantastic and is a short drive away (20mins) and we spent most of our time there or visit local areas like the amazing Carcasson and the waterpark at Agda which the kids loved. Communication with Rosaline our host was smooth and easy and she was there to greet us and help with anything we needed whilst we were staying.

Idéalement situé à Narbonne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement où rien ne manquait. La piscine est l'atout majeur de cette location, le top pour se rafraîchir vu la chaleur qu'il faisait en juillet dans le Sud! A 30 mètres de la maison se trouve un beau petit parc dans lequel se promener et emmener vos enfants faire de la balançoire ou du toboggan ! La plage n'est pas très loin en voiture, nous y avons été plusieurs fois. La maison est conforme à la description, aucune mauvaise surprise une fois sur place! Roseline, la propriétaire des lieux nous a accueilli chaleureusement et a été très disponible et sympathique lors de notre séjour. Merci pour tout à nouveau 🙂

vous avez été des hôtes très sympathiques et discrets. bonne suite de vacances dans le Sud , toujours aussi caniculaire...et je serais très heureuse de vous accueillir à nouveau avec Tom qui aura grandi, si le cœur vous en dit. que les alizés vous soient favorables...

Très beau séjour reposant

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Espace cuisine super bien équipé. La piscine impeccable. La propriétaire très sympathique a mis à notre disposition tout le matériel nécessaire pour la sécurité de nos enfants. Linge de maison très propre .

Week end prolongé en famille

L'appartement de Roseline et bien situé à proximité du centre ville. Les photos sont conformes à l'annonce : spacieux et bien équipé. L'espace extérieur avec la piscine est appréciable même si l'eau n'était encore assez chaude en Mai pour en profiter.

Merci beaucoup d avoir pris du temps pour rédiger cette appréciation très positive. Mais a vous lire, je trouve que la note de 3/5 très sévère, sachant que vous etes arrivés le matin au lieu de l après midi.. que je ne vous ai pas imposé d horaire de départ...que j ai offert le linge et les lits faits a votre arrivée et que tout a été fait pour que vous passiez un bon sejour. Cette note va faire chuter mes statistiques. Dommage Mais sans rancune, je vous accueillerais bien volontiers à nouveau.

Location très bien située a proximité des commerces du centre ville et très calme avec possibilité de garer sa voiture en toute sécurité. La propriétaire est très agréable et à l'écoute de ses locataire tout en étant discrète. nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et nous recommandons cette location.

Great location but...

Owner was nice enough but seemed very confused during booking and check in. Unsure of my length of stay and payment. Thank goodness our communication had been in writing so I could show her the message she’d written me telling me my balance. Apartment was nice and location great. A bit dark but the pool area was nice to sit in. Beware. Owner expects you to clean upon departure.

there were changes in the number of nights in the reservations and actually between the acopts paid on the site and the balance, I had a moment of hesitation. But everything was written, the deal was respected. to better understand that speaking Shaskespeare's language is also an obstacle: I agree with Janet! In the rental agreement, it is written that the apartment must be cleaned, unless you pay in addition to the household. Which is not interesting for a short stay! Wonderful location for this cheerful, well maintained appartement.

Roseline was very gracious and respectful of our needs. Despite her busy schedule, she made time to get to know us and drove us back to the train station when it was time for us to leave Narbonne.
