Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad that you found the villa to be stunning! In regards to some of your comments, we would like to clarify a few things as follows. Re the additional fees: the final cleaning fee, the city tax and the heating fee are clearly mentioned in the listing description, under “House Rules”, so that all of our guests are aware of these charges prior to booking the villa. In fact, in order for guests to complete any new booking, they are required by the site to agree to the House Rules (prior to submitting payment), which include all of the additional costs. Also, once your booking was completed, we sent a thorough welcome email that included a reminder about the additional fees, to be paid upon arrival (we did inform you that they were due at check-in), to ensure that all of the details were clear in regards to your reservation. Heating is indeed optional, as it is only needed during certain periods of the year, so it is up to the villa guests to have it on or not. It is difficult to judge whether heating will always be needed at the end of March based on previous years experience. Therefore, this is a variable cost that we discuss directly with our guests to determine whether it will be needed or not. The wifi connection has always been stable, none of our previous guests have really had any issue with it in the past (we are well aware that a stable connection is a priority for our guests, so we have secured the best internet service available). In regards to the hot water, we have received no complaints from you during your stay, so we are really surprised to read about it now, and it is something that has never come up before with any of our past guests. The entire villa has recently been completely renovated, including a whole new plumbing and heating system for the water in the bathrooms, therefore I can confirm that there is enough hot water to serve all of the villa’s bathrooms at any time. We certainly do not ask our guests to clean by themselves as you have written in your feedback, as the villa is thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis and is always kept in the best possible condition. The property is located in the countryside of the Chianti Region right by the town of Tavarnelle val di Pesa and it is just 17 miles from the beginning of the city center of Florence, as noted in the description on the site, which definitely makes the city accessible. We also included detailed transportation information in the Guest Information Booklet that we provided prior to your arrival, which noted that we highly recommend using our suggested private driver or renting a car/van since there are no taxis available near the property. We provide all of our guests with this information well in advance, so that they have the best understanding of where the property is located and the easiest way to move around the area.
