The house is very spacious with high ceilings and stylishly decorated with its 3-storey living space and enclosed "monumental" garden. The house is 210 m2 with high ceilings and wooden floors. The house is modern chic decorated. Only 1 bedroom is closed. 3 large bedrooms are available. On the ground floor is a large kitchen with table and chairs for 6 people. There are 2 living rooms. A living room on the ground floor and a very large living room in the attic with very high ceilings and wooden beams, where you can sit in the sun on the windowsill and lounge, read a book and relax. It is also possible to put down a number of yoga mats to do exercises because the space has been kept very open. The luxurious bathroom with toilet, sink and large Italian rain shower is on the ground floor. A second small bathroom with toilet and large sink is located on the first floor. The enclosed monumental garden with sun loungers, parasol and large wooden dining table with 6 chairs offers every opportunity to relax and dine. The Cubserviès waterfalls can be found around Roquefère at 2 km distance. There is also a good restaurant here. An 18-minute drive takes you to Pradelles-Cabardès on the way to the beautiful views of the Pic Noire along a beautiful swimming lake with a nice restaurant.
If you drive towards Carcassonne at 10 minutes distance you will come through Las Tours where you can climb the old castle ruins, visit several restaurants and a bakery/tea house. Another nice village to visit at 30 minutes drive is Montolieu, a book village perched on a rocky outcrop. In Mas-Cabardès and in the villages nearby, many performances and parties are organized in the summer. It is highly recommended to google in advance what there is to do. And then we have not even mentioned Carcassonne! In Carcassonne, many activities are organized in the summer and there is much to experience. If you have the chance to be in the area on July 14, the Cité (medieval citadel UNESCO) of Carcassonne organizes the largest fireworks in France. The trips to beautiful villages and medieval towns such as Mazamet, Castres and Albi are actually endless, but of course you can also relax in the garden or at the swimming lake.
