Enjoy a cosy break away in this truly unique home in historical Exeter. Recently decorated and tucked away on the outskirts of the city, this home offers the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and shopping. With enough space for 6 guests, the lodge can accommodate families or groups who are looking for something a little quirky. The peaceful cemetery grounds provide a beautiful backdrop to the home. You are only a 5 minute drive to town, and the canal is a 10 minute walk away.

This home will be decorated for Christmas
This place has a homely feel and is decorated in keeping with its traditional character. There are some striking features such as carved stone walls and stained glass, but the rooms are bright and airy with large windows. All the bedrooms have King-size beds in them and the mattresses were recently purchased, allowing for a comfortable night`s sleep.
This is a unique home providing something a little different than your standard Airbnb property, however, it still has all the usual modern amenities so you will be able to enjoy your stay hassle-free.
Outside there is some outdoor seating for you to use. The rear garden will be undergoing some minor renovations during Autumn 2024 to improve the usability of this space, and therefore there may be some disruption. However, this should be minimal and won`t hinder your stay. There is a fairly busy road next to the entrance of the drive to the property, so traffic noise can be heard whilst outside. This cannot be heard once inside.
The home and garden is yours for the entirety of your stay. You will not share any spaces with anyone else.
We have a dedicated Guest Services Team who are on hand to help with any issues you may have during your stay. Please contact us through the Airbnb messaging service for the quickest response. We also have an Exeter based team who are able to assist with any problems that require an in-person solution.

Whilst we are on hand to assist with any issues during your stay, we are unable to make changes to anything within the home to suit individual needs. The property is to be taken as it is. If there is a sofa bed in the home, it will not be set up as a bed. We presume you will want to use the sofa for its main use, as a sofa until the night time.
Early check-in and late check-out requests. We charge an additional £25 for any requests that are granted. Please message us through Airbnb messaging to see if we are able to accommodate your early check-in/late check-out request.
The holiday home is equipped with small hand soaps, a couple of toilet rolls and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay. We do not supply additional consumables, this includes toilet rolls.
If you wish to extend your stay, you must check with our team. The earlier you check, the better as we are sometimes unable to reschedule cleaning to suit. We must provide at least 48 hours notice to our cleaners.

Pass the Keys® provides a high standard of service for short-let properties. Each property is professionally maintained and cleaned, with hotel-quality linen. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay.
You are welcome to use and enjoy the outdoor seating areas. We do kindly ask that guests clean up after themselves and leave these facilities in a state that is suitable for the next people staying, as our cleaners will be unable to provide a full garden overhaul at each changeover.
If the management team are called out to resolve an issue where you are at fault, you will incur a £50 callout charge, i.e. if you cannot connect to the wifi, but you have unplugged the router. Please be aware we will have to charge £25 if you have locked yourself out and we need to attend to help you gain access. There is a £100 charge for failure to leave the keys in the key safe on departure. This is because we will have to conduct an emergency lock change for safety reasons.
