Wisteria Cottage is a charming period cottage located in the heart of picturesque Topsham, 4 miles from Exeter.

The house sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms and forms an ideal base to enjoy the town’s shops, cafes and restaurants, which are within a short walk, and to explore South Devon.

Set in an idyllic spot on the River Exe, Topsham is an historic town that was once an important port. It retains a quaint maritime feel with Dutch-style merchants' houses, Georgian buildings, boatyards and a busy quayside.

Today, Topsham has an upmarket, cosmopolitan flavour with a mix of stylish boutiques, antique shops, galleries and award-winning food shops and restaurants. Visitors can enjoy memorable sunsets over the estuary, walks in the nature reserve and summer boat trips.

Exeter and the long sandy beaches at Exmouth are 10 mins drive.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor there’s a cosy sitting room with comfortable seating, a flat-screen Smart TV with Freeview, Netflix and Amazon Prime and a DVD player. The sitting room leads to a spacious, well-equipped eat-in kitchen with all mod cons - including gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table seats 4, extendable to 8. French windows open onto a walled sunny courtyard garden offering total privacy.

Upstairs there's a master bedroom with king-size bed with TV, a twin bedroom, and a spacious family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

Due to the central location of the cottage there is a private parking space 250m (around 4 mins walk) from the property for the guests’ exclusive use. Please also be aware that a level of road noise may be experienced.
