Villa Karibu is located in Tokai, one of the green, southern suburbs of Cape Town in the oldest wine region in the Cape, the Constantia Valley. The infrastructure in Tokai is first-class; shopping centres, petrol stations, and restaurants are practically all "around the corner". It is only a few meters from Villa Karibu to the Steenberg Golf Club and some of the most famous wineries in South Africa, such as Steenberg Estate, Groot Constantia and Buitenverwachting.
