Wir haben uns 2018 sofort in dieses Haus verliebt und es dann auch gekauft.Es wurde von uns mit viel Liebe zum Detail komplett neu eingerichtet.
Außerdem ist es mit einer eigenen Wasserversorgung ausgestattet und ist somit unabhängig von Kapstadts Wasserbeschränkungen.
Die Schlafräume besitzen Klimaanlagen, außerdem super bequeme Boxspringbetten mit hochwertiger ägyptischer Baumwolle.

Unser traumhaftes Haus ist lichtdurchflutet mit bodentiefen Fenstern und offenem Wohnbereich.
Die Ausstattung ist neu und modern mit einer großzügigen,offenen Küche mit Kücheninsel, Nespresso Maschine und separatem Hauswirtschaftsraum mit Spül,-Waschmaschine und Trockner, sowie großzügigen Vorratsschränken.
Der Eßbereich ist mit einem großen Echtholz Tisch (2,80x1,20) ausgestattet und bietet Platz für mindestens 8 Personen.
Vor unserem Kamin befinden sich Sofas und bequeme Sessel zum entspannen und lesen.
Als Treffpunkt mit Freunden lädt unser windgeschützter Patio (Innenhof) ein.
Auf unser einladenden Terrasse mit spektakulären Sonnenuntergänge befinden sich äußerst bequeme, hochwertige Lounge Möbel aus Teakholz.
Lassen Sie ihren Blick über die Bucht von Hout Bay schweifen, am besten bei einem Glas südafrikanischen Wein oder bei einem Braai (Weber Gasgrill vorhanden).
Am Pool können Sie die Sonne genießen und ihre Seele baumeln lassen.(Sonnenschirm und Sonnenliegen vorhanden).
Die komplett neu eingerichteten Schlafräume mit hochwertigen Boxspringbetten laden zum träumen ein.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer bietet einen traumhaften Meerblick, ein Ankleidebereich und eigenes großzügiges Beadezimmer.
Die anderen Schlafzimmer sind um den Patio angelegt, zum Teil mit eigenem Bad.
Eine Gästetoilette ist vorhanden.
Für Fernsehabende mit der ganzen Familie steht ein separater Fernsehraum mit 55 Zoll Fernseher (DSTV, Netflix etc.)zur Verfügung.
WiFi über einen Glasfaser Anschluss ist im gesamten Haus kostenlos verfügbar.
Ihr Auto parken Sie bequem in unserer Doppelgarage, von dort haben sie direkten Zugang ins Haus.
Unsere Hausmangerin Claudia wird sie in allen Belangen unterstützen und sie beim Check-in persönlich begrüßen.Sie ist jederzeit als Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort verfügbar.
Das Haus, am Ende einer Sackgasse, befindet sich in einem abgeschlossen Estate mit 24 stündiger Security, also absolut sicher.
Das Estate befindet sich in einem Naturschutzgebiet mit Wanderwegen.

Home away from home

We had an amazing week long stay at Miriam's property in Hout Bay. We were looking for a central location from which to explore Cape Town, yet still have quiet comfort to come home to. The location was perfect for this, and gave us everything we wanted and more. The house itself is amazing, with oustanding views and beautiful interior. Luxury large open plan property with everything you could possibly want. Beautifully furnished and great location with drive in garage that has direct access to house. The washer and dryer and dishwasher are welcome additions and the wood fire keeps winter evenings cozy. Close enough to Cape Town to drive at night (30 mins) or Uber and right next to Chapmans peak drive which is amazing. Claudia, the house manager was on hand and always very responsive making sure we had all we needed. Would stay again without a doubt.

Spectacular Home, Beautiful views

Our entire experience here was top notch from the beginning to the end. The house is absolutely beautiful and easily accommodates 4 couples. The kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking and service you would require. The views are stunning of the mountains and Hout Bay. This is a very secure and friendly neighborhood to stay in. We cannot say enough about our host Miriam, the property manager and all of the staff. I highly recommend this home to anyone that wants a luxury stay in Cape Town.

Beautiful house, wonderfully managed. Claudia seemed to be on call 24/7, when we had no water at 9.30 at night, she responded immediately, we were so impressive and relieved. Only issue for me was the lack of banisters on all the stairs, not good when you have bad knees but otherwise amazingly situated and equipped. We all loved it.

This is the most brilliantly designed house. The main living spaces are full of light and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need and there is a good quality bbq. The huge glass doors all open to create a feeling of being outside. One of our favourite spots was the outside courtyard eating area which we named the secret garden. At night it looked so beautiful with lights and candles. The outside front terrace, perfect for relaxing together has the most stunning views, with mountains,trees and Hout Bay in the distance. The main bedroom suite is exceptional with panoramic views over Hout Bay. Thank you to Claudia who was always available to help out with anything even managed to get English football on the television for the boys! We had the most wonderful time in this oasis of calm and had a truly memorable holiday. Thank you Miriam and Torsten, we absolutely loved it!

Calming. Convenient. Comfortable.

From the moment I was greeted at the gate by Claudia until my departure, I felt like royalty. The home itself is more breath-taking than the pictures could capture. I love cooking and was sure to book a stay with a functional kitchen. This place did not disappoint in that department. The primary bedroom is the entire top level, overlooking the home's terrace and the entire estate. What. A. VIEW. For those who like to stock the fridge, the grocery store is less than five minutes away (and so was the beach)! This location is as convenient as it is serene. I have only positive things to say about the entire EXPERIENCE. The security of the neighborhood made every aspect of the stay more peaceful. Skip the hotel. Jump straight to this GEM

Stunning

What a stunning house in a fabulous location set in the hills overlooking Hout Bay. We found this a perfect location for us. 15 minutes to Camps Bay, 20 minutes to Table Mountain, 30 minutes to The Waterfront and easy access to the South beaches and bays. The house is even more spectacular than the pictures. Floor to ceiling glass everywhere downstairs allows stunning views across the bay without being overlooked. The communication between ourselves and the owners was excellent and we were treated superbly by house manager Claudia who answered all and every one of our question as well as making numerous fantastic recommendations for us during our visit. Chapmans Peak hotel was a great place to eat in the evening with views across the bay and right on the beach itself was Dunes which was excellent for breakfast and lunch. Another great recommendation from Claudia was Babylonstoren in Stellenbosch. In summary, I cannot recommend this house more highly. Thank you for a great stay!

Great property and location

Pros: We really loved the property. Great views and sunsets out the backyard. 30 min to the V&A but the drive up the coast is phenomenal. 30 min to the airport. Beautiful rooms, ample space, fully stocked fire place. Garage parking. Very safe neighborhood. Groceries and restaurants nearby. Would highly recommend renting a car if you use this place. Cons: There was mold in the coffee maker, which as daily coffee drinkers was a bit disappointing. Other than that, very clean place. Note: For those not familiar with load shedding, in Cape Town, there can be planned blackouts to help with power demand. We had power outages of 6 hours a day. The listing mentioned load shedding but we just didn't know what it was. This has nothing to do with the property specifically, but something to consider when comparing to a hotel (which usually have generators).

Perfekter Start in den Südafrika-Urlaub

Die ersten vier Tage unseres Südafrika-Urlaubs durften wir in dieser geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villa verbringen. Besonders haben uns der offene Atrium-Bereich, die super gut ausgestattete Küche, der Kamin, die verschiedenen gemütlichen Chill Out-Areas sowie natürlich der grandiose Blick über Hout Bay gefallen. Lediglich die Lage ist nicht ganz perfekt, da es schon ca. 30 Minuten Autofahrt von Kapstadt Zentrum zum Haus sind. Schön zu hören dass es euch in unserem Haus gefallen hat. Hout Bay ist wirklich ein entspannter Ort, die besten Restaurants direkt nebenan, die Weinhüter um Constantia direkt um die Ecke, und sicher mal eben zu Fuß zum Bäcker oder Strand zu gehen. Gelungene Kombination zwischen Design & Natur

Definitiv ein Ort zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Die Immobilie ist wie man so schön sagt wirklich zu Ende gedacht und voll funktional. Glorious

What an incredible find! This property is spacious, modern/ renovated, warm and inviting. There are lots of areas to lounge, read, enjoy or entertain. It is surrounded by stunning vistas, mountains, you can see the ocean and beach in the distance. It’s close to Chapman’s peak, 20min from Constantia, 20min to camps bay. I absolutely adored it. Wish I could stay longer.

This Cape Town villa was a dream

My experience was absolutely amazing. The house had the perfect amount of space, it was beautiful, well stocked with everything We needed and came with amazing staff to help us to keep it clean. It was magical. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Mariam ❤️

Great Vacation Home!

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. It was perfect for three couples, with lots of indoor and outdoor gathering space. The views are great, and location is perfect if you don't mind the short drives (30-1 hour) in various directions to see the sites. We would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Great house in a beautiful setting

It’s a beautiful, well equipped house in a nice and secure area. The space, light and views are actually better in person than the pictures can show. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. Claudia, the property manager, met us at the house when we arrived and was very helpful. Good shops and services nearby. Hout Bay is a picturesque half hour drive to the centre of Cape Town and close to Chapmans Peak. We’ve stayed at several properties we have found on VRBO/HomeAway in various countries. This was one of the nicer ones.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Unser Haus ist wirklich ein Traum.
Es ist absolut ruhig gelegen, in den Bergen von Hout Bay mit dem längsten Sonnelicht und fantastischen Sonnenuntergängen.
Es ist offen geschnitten, bietet aber ausreichend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für jeden.
