The hot water didn't work for two of the three days. I spoke with three different people at VRBO and nobody was able to get a resolution. Finally the beginning of day 3 the host responded and had someone come fix the hot water. Totally unacceptable and I want there to be a refund for the stay.

It was absolutely stunning! The train station was so conveniently located, with a Carrefour just around the corner and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby! A 10-minute walk would lead you to the magnificent Eiffel Tower!!! The accommodation was impeccably clean and cozy! We felt like we belonged, Thanks a lot Joffrey!

For the price, the location was great. Close to the metro and within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. The check in process was a little confusing thinking we had to enter a main door before the apartment door until we saw a key box on another door. The place smelled musty/mildewy, with some mold or something in the shower. The shower also would overflow the shower pan with a slow drain. I did try messaging the owners via VRBO and WhatsApp with no response. I didn’t feel it was severe enough to try calling. It was also a little confusing getting emails from other sources (checkmyguest and Belvilla). I thought it was spam until I searched my email trying to find check in instructions since it didn’t come through VRBO. Fortunately the weather was cool, but leaving the windows open invited neighboring cats trying to climb in.

Weekend Girls Trip to Paris

Great location and property - overall we loved it and it made our time in Paris great. I would recommend staying - comfortable beds, great linens and towels, nice amenities. Be warned there is no AC - so it does get hot on warm days - but there is a fan provided which is life saving. After landing at 7am (due to having to reschedule my flight), I was stressed as to wear I would store my luggage until check in. The Check My Guest Staff answered my call to their help line immediately and let me keep my luggage in their hotel that they are headquartered in. The hotel was lovely and the staff was even better. I was confident my things were safe and appreciated their hospitality. Just a few points of stress: I paid for the early check in (85) which should have meant that I was able to check in at 1pm. I ended up being told it would not be ready until 2:30pm upon arrival but was not offered a refund - this was very disappointing as regular check in was at 4pm so only an hour and half early for that much money seemed a bit off. Also, for Americans - be warned that one of the doors opens to a private courtyard - this is not accessible by the general public, but is accessible by a few neighbors - the door is not lockable so for us, as a group of young girls, it was a bit nerve racking. But luckily nothing bad happened during the stay and we remained safe. Overall though, we loved it and would stay again!

Super Lage. Nur 15 Gehminuten zum Eiffelturm. U-Bahn und RER sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Nachts ist es hier ruhig. Supermärkte und Restaurants sind ebenfalls schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung war zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber und warm. Es gab ausreichend Warmwasser und alles, was wir für unseren viertägigen Aufenthalt brauchten.

Während unseres Aufenthalts mitten im Winter hatten wir zwei von drei Nächten kein warmes Wasser. Ich habe 48 Stunden lang versucht, den Gastgeber zu kontaktieren, bevor ich eine Antwort erhielt. Das ist absolut inakzeptabel. Jedes seriöse Unternehmen würde sich bemühen, uns für diesen eindeutigen Fehler zu entschädigen. Warmes Wasser ist kein Luxus, sondern ein Grundbedürfnis. Eine Rückerstattung von mindestens zwei Dritteln wäre in diesem Fall angemessen. Bitte um Rückmeldung.
