With wide ranging views of the Peak District, our property boasts many original features. A traditional local pub, visitors centre, tea room & the start of the Manifold trail, less than 5 minutes walk away. Hartington is a 5 minute drive away, with its famous cheese shop. The market town of Ashbourne, Spa town of Buxton, Dove Dale & Alton Towers are all within 20 mins.
The space
From the parking space you will enter the property via the back door where you will walk in to the triple aspect lounge-diner where there is seating for six, a wood burning stove and smart TV. From here you will enter the spacious well equipped kitchen. There is a separate laundry room containing an additional fridge freezer and downstairs WC on this level.
Upstairs you will find a master bedroom with super king size bed and small ensuite shower room, a twin bedroom/super king which can be divided into two standard singles and a further bedroom with twin/king size bed which can be divided into small singles more suitable for children. Please contact us regarding the bed configuration required for these latter two rooms.
Please note we also own the house next door (sleeps 4) should you need a larger space for special occasions for larger families or friendship groups.
Solar panels provide renewable energy, making the cottage more environmentally friendly than most Peak District properties.
