This cosy cottage is located in the picturesque village of Grindleford, right in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Recently renovated to a high standard while retaining its original cottage charm, it offers a warm and welcoming base for couples, walkers and dog owners looking to enjoy the Peak District at a relaxed pace.

To the rear of the property is a private enclosed garden with open views and a lovely summer house overlooking Froggatt Edge. The garden and summer house enjoy the sun throughout the day and provide a peaceful spot for morning coffee, relaxing after a walk or simply sitting back and taking in the scenery.

The location is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike. Some of the Peak District’s most loved walks are right on the doorstep, including Padley Gorge, the Longshaw Estate and riverside routes leading towards Hathersage and beyond. Grindleford also has its own train station with good links to surrounding villages, as well as Sheffield and Manchester, making it easy to explore without relying on the car.

The village itself has a friendly and welcoming feel, with a local pub and a hotel restaurant offering convenient places to eat out. Well known attractions such as Chatsworth House and many other Peak District highlights are also just a short drive away.

Inside, the cottage is arranged over three floors and has been thoughtfully designed to feel both comfortable and sociable. The second floor offers a spacious king size bedroom with its own en suite shower room. A large Velux window overlooks Froggatt Edge, bringing in plenty of natural light and offering beautiful views across the surrounding landscape, creating a calm and private retreat.
