Perfect Vacation Condo

We loved staying here. Walking to the beach, swimming in the pool, grilling dinner, snorkel and boogie boarding equipment, and easy access to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful getaway space!

This was a much larger space than we anticipated, and was absolutely lovely to stay in. It's right across the street to some beach access, and walking distance to a small bakery, shave ice, and tourist shop. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Perfect for our family!

We loved our stay at this property! It had all sorts of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, cooler, etc. that made it easy to immediately hit the beach. The plumeria trees right outside the door were an beautiful touch.

We arrived and found that the property was immaculate. We were forewarned about some trouble with the sliding glass door (which was very hard to open) and told the repairs were scheduled for after our stay - this did not prevent us from hanging out on patio in the morning or afternoon. I would note that this is a shaded patio that doesn't get any direct sun so you don't have to worry about getting too much sun exposure. I found the shade and outdoor mornings quite pleasant. The air conditioner in the main living space effectively cools the living/kitchen area. The property is literally across the street from a nice beach and it was easy to just cross and hang out. One day it was quite windy and we were being blasted by sand so we hung out at the pool - the short walls nicely blocked the wind. I was very pleasantly surprised at the very nice condition of the single stall ladies toilet at the pool - it was exceptionally clean and well stocked. A couple of callouts for the property: we shared with the management company that all the handles on all the cookware were loose and needed to be tightened - you don't want the handle falling of the pan when you're cooking eggs or whatever. They said they would mention it to the property owners. The air conditioning doesn't reach the bedrooms. A couple of oscillating fans (in addition to the ceiling fans) would be appreciated. Close to everything in Kihei - except for our drive to the craft fair in Lahaina.

Good location and clean place

Overall the location is very good and facilities on the complex were good too. We wish there were more towels and utensils (we're a group of 6). Being right across the beach is a big plus and proximity to Kahului was great. Overall pretty happy with the stay, would rent again!

Great!

This condo was great for our family. Nothing fancy but clean, updated, comfortable and in a quiet location. The property was well looked after, the pool wasn't over run with guests and we enjoyed walking across the road for a swim or to watch the sun set.

A nice condo for family

2 bedroom and a coach can handle a family with 3 kids. The beach is across the street. 5-10 min drive to grocery and resturants. the swimming pool is nice. Overall a very nice stay!

It's Comfortable!

The stay was comfortable and the property and location is ideal and accessible to most sites of interest. The only issue of concern were the window blinds leading to the back patio or balcony, it needed some maintenance to enhanced functionality.

Great location!

This condo was a great location- directly across the street from a wonderful stretch of beach. Close drive time to grocery stores and Restaurants. Simple and clean condo with lots of beach accessories on hand so you don’t have to bring or purchase your own. Well equipped kitchen and even some pantry items (salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc). Will definitely consider this condo again when we visit in the future!

Apartment and property comfortable and a good size for our group. Availability of beach chairs and umbrella was appreciated. Management company promptly attended to our request to replace a broken broom. Suggestto have more than one dish towel available.

Great condo!

We loved our stay at Kihei Holiday! The location was great and the condo was a great size and very comfortable for our family of 5. It was nice having a designated parking spot and the kitchen and bathroom have been very nicely updated. Hopefully the mattresses are next on the list to be updated as those were the only downfall of the unit. Loved being right across the street from the beach and close to the pool and spa. Also very much enjoyed the ground level lanai and the chickens that hung out in the grass area in the mornings. Overall a great place and we would love to come back and stay again!

Great trip to Maui!

My family and I had a great time staying in this condo. Everything is as pictured. Everything was clean. It was nice to have boogie boards, beach chairs, and a cooler for use. There were even some sand toys in the closet. Plenty of towels for use. The washer and dryer was very useful during our time there. The furniture and decor is worn and could use some updating. But other wise everything was great. Thanks!

Home away from home

It was our first trip to Maui. Location-wise, this property in Kihei was perfect. Just across from the beach, which is good for an early morning walk or run and even for the sunset pics later in the day.A second bathroom would’ve been perfect, but we managed to work with one.The chickens in the early hours of the morning can prove to be a challenge for light sleepers. But I guess that’s a trade-off vs staying in an expensive resort.The home is well equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is equipped if you like to cook your own meals. It was pleasant to sit out while sipping your morning tea or evening drink.Location is not busy either. So, while you’re not far from anything, there aren’t any noisy activities around at night.Overall, we found it well located.

Beds need to be replaced. Very small bedrooms. Air conditioning inadequate for unit. Very noisy in our unit from another property

Very pleased!

I rented the unit with my sister. It was perfect for us! - we are in our 60s. It was also very clean! We saw a few baby roaches in the bathroom, but it wasn't shocking since that is common in Hawaii. It has nothing to do with the unit itself and it not being clean! I just thought I should mention it. The beach is directly across from the complex. The grounds are beautifully maintained. It is relatively quiet other than the roosters that "parked" outside of our bedroom windows and woke us up at the crack of dawn...literally. If you have never been to Maui, the streets are full of chickens and roosters. That's just fyi, they are no bother other than constantly "talking". :) Back to the unit...I would highly recommend renting. Other than the furniture needing updating, especially the mattresses, and no air conditioning in the bedrooms, all was perfect and we would rent again! It is very near all that you need with the drive to Lahaina, Kaanapali, etc being about 40 mins. So, you don't need to spend the money for the high priced all inclusive resorts, just drive. Also, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIHEI CAFFE!!! :)

There are a lot of cockroaches in all rooms, in bed, in the kitchen, etc

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience—this is absolutely not acceptable and not the standard we aim to provide. Maui is a tropical Island and the unit is being treated every quarter to keep them at a minimum.
