This is a spotless beautiful apartment with big rooms, and comfortable beds and couch. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us to spread out, eat, cook, and get ready for our busy days. Our hosts are very friendly, full of great recommendations and are quick communicators. I highly recommend this spot!

This apartment is perfectly located as a hub for all activities. An easy walk to the central square of Sorrento with all the restaurants and shopping you could ever want. Looking for some day trips outside of Sorrento? The train station is right across the street. The host met us at the unit and showed us everything we needed to know. He even assisted us with booking a boat tour to Capri. The apartment was very clean. Our only issues were that the hot water in the showers was sparse, which was okay because it was hot outside. There was a family of ants in the back bedroom (we bought some spray and sprayed around the patio door and they didn’t bother us), and the street noise was a little loud at night. This last one is to be expected given the close proximity to all the activities. I would definitely rent this unit again if traveling back to Sorrento.

Dear Robert, thank you so much for such a wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that you loved our central location, found the apartment sparkling clean, and enjoyed our assistance with the Capri boat tour. Helping our guests make the most of their time in Sorrento is what we love doing most. We truly appreciate your helpful feedback, as it helps us improve. We want everything to be perfect, so we immediately called maintenance to adjust the boiler settings for better hot water flow, and completely resolved the rare and isolated issue with the ants (which was tied to some recent gardening work to clean the rear courtyard of the building). Knowing you would stay with us again is the best compliment we could ask for. We would love to welcome you back anytime. Ciao!!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in this impeccably clean and comfortable apartment. The hosts were the most thoughtful and organized that we’ve ever experienced! From the welcome baskets, to the instructions for all appliances, to the help they provided when we left some valuables behind I cannot say enough. Check in and out was easy as all they ask is to turn off the air conditioning. The kitchen was well equipped and with 2 seating areas we had plenty of room for card games, relaxing and food. The balcony would be very nice in warmer weather and beds and bathrooms large and very comfortable. We’d stay here again.

Ideal accommodation in the perfect location

This was a spacious, stylish modern apartment in the most convenient possible location for exploring Sorrento and the whole area. We found the hosts very welcoming and accommodating and we enjoyed the nearby bakery, excellent supermarket, shops and restaurants within a short walk. The station close by made trips to Pompeii, Positano and many other destinations very straightforward. The ferries to the islands/Amalfi coast were not much further away. Then we would come home to "our" comfortable flat with a fully equipped kitchen, sitting/dining room we could all spread out in, 3 full size bedrooms with excellent beds, and 2 bathrooms. Couldn't be better.

Spacious & modern abode

This apartment was really spacious and each room had a lot of space in it too. All areas were very clean and well appointed. It was so nice, we ended up cooking dinner twice in our 4 night stay. The location was great being very close to the train station and to the tourist center of Sorrento. The only downside was that the cars on the road were a bit noisy for our tastes but earplugs did help. Due to how to access the building, the host must meet you to let you in the first time. The host was very prompt with all communication and helped to set us at ease. Thanks again!

Hi Liane, thank you so much! :) We are very happy that you liked Casa Arissa and that you appreciated precisely the aspects that we want to be its strong points: cleanliness, amenities, comfort and our very central location close to the main transport links. Our location is a great advantage for our guests but, on days with more traffic than usual, it can unfortunately lead to the usual disadvantages of living in the centre. We hope to see you again soon in Sorrento :) Bye

Fantastic Hosts!

If you enjoy very communicative and helpful hosts this is the spot for you. It’s a well laid out, comfortable apartment. There were pdf’s of suggested restaurants, activities, and other important information available. We were met at the train station which is so convenient for traveling. The location is very good for walking to good restaurants, the plaza, and the ports. The rooms are large, modern, and very clean. The blackout shades work great. There is constant street noise which is loud but having experienced a hotel in the hills with a shuttle service this was a much better choice for us. The living room has a huge sofa and large separate dining area. The beds are quite firm and we used the available washing machine often. Large grocery stores are nearby. Alessandra and Fabrizio have been the best hosts we’ve experience of the many VRBO’s we’ve rented.

Central location and the place was huge and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Alissa. First of all, the owner/property managers were so great at communicating. They reached out when we first booked our reservation and then stayed connected as our reservations approached. Checkin was super easy and Elvira who did our checkin was so nice. They checked in during our stay to ensure our stay was going well and the check out was also simple and smooth. The place was very clean and very spacious. There were three large bedrooms, two large bathrooms, a kitchen and a common area with sofa and a dining room table/chairs. The balcony was also large. The view wasn’t the greatest as it overlooks the train station but the location of the place more than off set this minor inconvenience. We were right across the street from the train station so accessibility was easy but more importantly, we were only one street over from the Corso Italia street which leads right to Piazza Tasso and old town. The location was so central and it was so easy to navigate our way to the Marina also for day trips by ferry to the Amalfi coast. There is a great grocery store right down the street on Corso Italia and some great restaurants within a few minutes from Casa Arissa. We would stay here again without a doubt if we are back in Sorrento. The place was great but the host definitely made this place even more special.
