Die Villa Latina ist ein traumhaftes Anwesen in ruhiger Lage im Naturpark Sintra, nur eine kurze Autofahrt von der historischen Stadt Sintra entfernt. Die geräumige Villa bietet bequem Platz für bis zu 16 Gäste und ist somit der ideale Rückzugsort für große Familien oder Freundesgruppen. Die Villa ist sowohl auf Entspannung als auch auf Unterhaltung ausgelegt und verfügt über zahlreiche Annehmlichkeiten, darunter ein privater 10 x 5 Meter großer Swimmingpool, eine Sauna und ein Spielzimmer mit PlayStation, Tischfußball, Tischtennisplatte und Bar.

Had a fantastic stay, our host Paulo made us welcome, the villa had a lovely pool and gardens, the location was awesome for exploring Sintra and easy to get to Lisbon via uber/trains, there is a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a extended family of 11 people. Paulo delivered a new TV when we found ours wasn’t working (essential for the World Cup!) and a new coffee machine. Unsurprisingly mosquitos were everywhere some simple room diffusers did the trick. 18/07/26

Lovely and beautiful location

The space, location, pool, the beds very comfortable. Paulo is very nice and helpful. Easy walk to the mercado and beach. We loved it. 05/07/25 We should've requested fans. We had to keep windows open at night, it was warm in July, mosquitos were an issue overnight. Also this place could've had some dish soap or dishwasher pods when we arrived, and even one toilet paper roll would've been nice after a long flight. The house had very little decoration, could've made it more appealing and inviting. Clean the patio and lawn chairs before people arrive. It seemed as if no one had ever been there before us.

- The kind and hospitality contact with Paulo. - Usage of the swimming pool, table tennis, the BBQ and the surroundings. - Checking if all the light(bulb)s in the house are working - Informing the guests when the gardeners are coming to clean. We were surprised when they unexpected were working under our windows at 8:00 am in the morning. - The small room without closets and hangers, next to the side door is very damp and therefore cold. There was condensation inside the room, even the blankets got wet. 07/09/25

Wonderful villa for a family vacation

The villa was perfect for our needs, 2 families with adult children. Plenty of space and spacious bedrooms, 3 with en-suite bathrooms. Large kitchen, with all that is necessary for catering to the 10 of us. The outside area is fantastic- a beautiful, well-maintained pool surrounded by a mature garden making the property very private. The outside terrace has a large wooden dining table where we ate breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner if we ate at the house. The pictures do not do the house justice, it is a very nice, traditional home and the outside lawn, pool and terrace really make it fabulous. We were able to walk just a few minutes to the farmers’ market in Praia das Maçãs which is a must! Open every day except Monday. The beach and village are just another few hundred yards from the market. Several excellent restaurants as well as a few beach bars. It was notable that most of the people around are Portuguese as well as other European tourists. You can also walk over the headland to Praia Grande, about a 25 minute, pleasant walk. (just a 5 minute drive). The location is excellent! Paulo deserves a special mention - he was there to meet us when we arrived to show us around the property and answer any questions. He continued to be very responsive with restaurant recommendations as well as any other questions we had! I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only because the bathrooms could use a little update. Not a big deal or anything that would make us not want to stay again!!
