Pine Tree Lodge is a cozy single-story cabin, offering stunning Exmoor views from its sheltered veranda. Ensuring ample privacy, it's positioned 50 meters away from the nearest lodge and boasts a dedicated lawn area.

Rated at four stars, the lodge comprises a king-sized double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with an overhead shower, and an L-shaped living area encompassing sitting and dining spaces, along with a fully-equipped kitchen featuring essentials such as a fridge freezer and dishwasher.

Guests enjoy full access to the gardens, a children's play area, games room, putting green, and laundry room stocked with local guides and mapped-out walks that commence from our property. We warmly welcome up to two well-behaved dogs, following the guidelines outlined in our pet-friendly policy. Complimentary Wi-Fi.






Indoor Description
Entering the Lodge through the wide french windows that make up half the front wall of the room you come into the main L shaped living room.

There is a dining area directly in front of the window with four dining chairs and a table plus a high stool adjacent to the kitchen work surface that separates the dining area from the kitchen beyond.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, grill, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and a complete set of cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery. Hot water is supplied by electric immersion heater that is set on a timer to keep usage down as part of our green policy but is able to be overridden by our guests if they choose.
Area
The sitting area runs alongside the dining area with a comfortable settee and two arm chairs. There is a flat screen colour television provided plus DVD player.

There is a laundry room on site, you will need £1 coins for the machines which the owners can supply on request at the door.

Outdoor Description
Pine Tree Lodge has it’s own area of lawn adjacent to the Lodge.
The wide veranda with its superb views has a table and chairs provided.

Guests enjoy complete access to the gardens, a children's play area, a games room, a putting green, and a laundry room. Inside the laundry room, you'll discover valuable local information and a selection of guided walks that start directly from our property's gate.

Parking
Parking for up to two cars adjacent to the Lodges.
Electric car charging is forbidden on-site. There are two charging stations in the Alexandra Road Car Park in Minehead.

Pets Description
We do welcome dogs at a limit of two per Lodge, with a charge of £20.00 per dog per visit. To ensure a harmonious environment for all guests, we kindly request that those bringing their dogs adhere to certain rules. These guidelines are designed to respect the enjoyment of other guests, ensure the safety of children on the premises, and maintain the accommodation for future guests to enjoy.

We kindly ask that:

Dogs be kept on leads while on-site and maintained in a quiet and controlled manner to avoid disturbing other guests.
Our Lodge verandas have gates to allow dogs to move freely within the Lodge, but we request that they do not climb onto the furniture or enter the bedrooms.
Dogs are not left unattended in the accommodation.
Please utilize the designated dog walk area for your pet's needs and dispose of any waste in the provided bin. We often have children on the premises, and it's essential to maintain a clean environment.

Restricted mobility
There are a couple of steps up to the property but it's all on one level once inside, therefore this property may be suitable for someone with limited mobility.

Escape through the main door as is only a short distance but if absolutely necessary through fully opening ground floor windows

Minehead is the largest town on the edge of Exmoor National Park, a welcoming seaside resort on the Somerset coast with stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Wales.



The town is best known as the starting point of the South West Coast Path, England's longest National Trail, which stretches 630 miles from the harbour here all the way to Poole Harbour in Dorset. A sculpture marking Mile Zero stands on the seafront near the old harbour. Minehead has been a working port since the 14th century, and the quay area retains much of its historic charm with narrow lanes and fishermen's cottages clustered at the foot of North Hill.



Higher Town, the oldest part of Minehead, sits on the slopes above the harbour and is home to the medieval Church of St Michael, reached by a steep footpath known as Church Steps that winds between thatched cottages with far-reaching views over the rooftops and out to sea. The Parade and The Avenue form the main shopping streets, where you will find independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and takeaways alongside everyday services. Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets are both on the outskirts of town with long opening hours, and there are banks, a Post Office, pharmacies, and petrol stations.



Blenheim Gardens, opened in 1925, provides six acres of green space in the centre of town with a bandstand, putting green, bowling green, and a pleasant cafe. The medieval village of Dunster, with its castle, yarn market, and tea rooms, is barely two miles away. Every May, Minehead's ancient Hobby Horse tradition brings colour and music to the streets -- a centuries-old celebration of the arrival of spring that is unique to this part of Somerset.
