Selbstständiger Check-in ab 15:00 Uhr durch Abholung der Schlüssel an einem nahegelegenen Ort. WLAN ist verfügbar und eignet sich hervorragend für Arbeit und Freizeit. Eine rückerstattbare Kaution ist erforderlich.



Die Unterkunft:

Willkommen in dieser geräumigen, 63 m² großen 2-Zimmer-Wohnung im Erdgeschoss eines Gebäudes ohne Aufzug, perfekt gelegen am Omega Place im Herzen von Kings Cross. Die Wohnung wird vor jeder Ankunft professionell gereinigt, damit du dich sofort einleben kannst.



Schlafzimmer 1: 1 Doppelbett, Schlafzimmer 2: 1 Doppelbett, Wohnzimmer: 1 Doppelschlafsofa. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein eigenes Duschbad und ein zweites voll ausgestattetes Badezimmer, das über den Flur zugänglich ist; das Badezimmer im Flur hat eine Dusche/Badewanne.



Der Wohnbereich ist ein toller Ort zum Entspannen, mit einem Smart-TV (Flachbildschirm) sowie einem Esstisch und Stühlen. Es gibt eine private Terrasse – Rauchen ist auf der Terrasse nicht erlaubt.



Die voll ausgestattete Küche bietet alles, was du brauchst: einen großen Kühlschrank, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Herd, Geschirrspüler, eine Cookworks-Kaffeemaschine sowie Wasserkocher und Toaster. Ein Wasch-Trockner-Kombigerät steht dir zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung verfügt in den kühleren Monaten über eine Elektroheizung.

Check-in: Ab 15:00 Uhr per Selbst-Check-in – hol dir die Schlüssel einfach an einem Ort in der Nähe ab. Wenn du nach 19:00 Uhr ankommst und jemanden brauchst, der dir die Schlüssel übergibt, lass es uns bitte mindestens 24 Stunden im Voraus wissen. Bei verspäteter Ankunft zwischen 19:00 und 21:59 Uhr fällt eine Gebühr von 50 £ an; zwischen 22:00 und 00:59 Uhr sind es 90 £; nach 01:00 Uhr sind es 120 £. Bitte beachte, dass etwaige Gebühren für einen späten Check-in bei der Ankunft in bar bezahlt werden müssen. Wir sind flexibel, wenn es geht – gib uns einfach vorher Bescheid!



Check-out: Bis 10:00 Uhr.



Kaution: Vor der Ankunft ist eine rückerstattbare Kaution in Höhe von 800 £ zu hinterlegen. Die Zahlung kann über einen externen Zahlungsanbieter wie Stripe, Swikly oder Flywire abgewickelt werden. Die Kaution wird innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach dem Check-out nach einer üblichen Begutachtung vollständig zurückerstattet.



Maximale Gästezahl: 6 Personen (einschließlich Kinder und Kleinkinder). Bitte halte dich an diese Obergrenze, damit sich alle wohlfühlen.

This review is from the perspective of living in Canada and mostly traveling in North America. Europe and UK have different levels of amenities and infrastructure and we understand that.1. Location is good, central, close to major tube station St Pancras and rail station Kings Cross. Convenient for tube traveling around the city.2. Single level no stairs which is nice. Secure building, secure gate, secure backyard space. Alleyway to the building Omega Place did have visible persons drug use occasionally. we did not have any personal issues when coming and going down the alleyway.3. The flat has 2 bdrms and 2 bath. Nice to have 2 baths. Mattresses are size double not queen so just something we are not used to but common in Europe. Its common in UL for flats to not have A/C. We did have to open the back patio door and front door to allow for airflow as we found fans are insufficient for cooling. 4. Be aware laundry in UK takes 2-4hrs to run a cycle. Laundry/dryer machines are loud. Coming from North America this is new to us.5. Kitchen nice, living space good.6. We do recommend, was a good space and location for our family of 4 vacation to London. We had a great time visiting London.

Great location, comfortable stay

Getting the keys was very easy, and the location was fantastic, right by kings cross and many bus lines. The space was nice and comfortable, and having the outdoor space and the washer/dryer were great. Overall was very good, especially for the price.

Great stay, wonderful location!

This apartment is cute, well-maintained, and is in such a great location! Much, much better for our family (which includes two teens) and our budget than trying to find hotel rooms that would fit our needs. Also, we tend to go out, come back to eat and nap, then out again, etc., and this apartment was perfect for that. The backyard patio was a huge bonus and we did spend a bit of time out there just listening to the sounds of the neighborhood.

The place is in a great location and it's spacious and well-stocked for what you need. Getting the key is a little confusing (the address you are given for the key pickup is actually next door to the store where you actually pick up the keys - a guy who lived there for us that he's probably been asked 1000 times about where to pick up some VRBO keys).

The only redeeming quality of this apartment was its location, extremely convenient, just steps from Kings Cross Station. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end.The apartment was in poor repair throughout our week-long stay:•Constant rumbling noise from the Tube below•2 of 3 bedside lamps didn't work•One sofa was visibly stained and dirty•One dining room ceiling light was out; another was hanging loose from the ceiling•The front door was difficult to lock from outside, a real security concern•Mold in one of the bathrooms•Towel racks installed incorrectly, so towels couldn't actually hang on them•The kitchen hob hood and electric kettle were both broken•Only one gate fob was provided despite the listing sleeping 6 guestsWe tried repeatedly to get these issues resolved. There was no way to reach the owner directly, only a third-party service that kept requesting more information and promising to send someone to fix things. Despite this, over an entire week, no one ever contacted us to schedule repairs, and no one showed up.It's particularly frustrating knowing the owner charges steep fees for any damage guests cause, yet doesn't seem to invest in basic maintenance or provide responsive support when things go wrong. I can't recommend this property unless these issues are addressed.

Kings Cross Flat

Highly recommended if you want to stay in the Kings Cross area. The flat was clean and comfortable. The check in / check out process was smooth. One of the best attributes was the safety of the flat. The access was through a locked gate. We felt very safe.

The location near Kings Cross station is great - many tube lines connect there, as well as rail. The only downside is that it's such a big station it can take you some time to walk through it! There are many quick food options nearby. We started off badly when the key pickup didn't work - the code I was given was a month out of date, and we had to wait nearly an hour while messaging the hosts through the VRBO app to get a new code. There has to be a better way to transfer keys! The cleanliness could have been better, as there was mildew in the shower grout, and the wifi signal is pitiful. But the outdoor patio was nice in the evenings, and we were lucky to be there before the heat wave hit. The door lock is tricky to work, and you must have the key to lock the door from the inside, so it's hard to coordinate leaving some people at home and others to go out. (There's only one door key and key fob for the gate. If the ones leaving take the keys, the ones inside can't lock the door. But if the ones at home keep the key, they've got to walk outside to the gate to let the others in later.) Entrance to the apartment is on the ground floor, and it's around a dark blind corner, which might not feel safe to some people. Also, note that 9 PM is the cutoff for kids/teens to be in pubs - totally understandable but ours wished they could watch World Cup games with us!
