Maisonette-Wohnung mit gleich großen Doppelzimmern auf verschiedenen Etagen und separaten Bädern. Großartig, um Paare und Familien zu teilen, sowohl privat als auch individuell. Wohnzimmer hat hohe Decken und ist eine gute Größe jeder zur gleichen Zeit aufnehmen und verfügt über einen Essbereich zu. Voll ausgestattete Küche zum Kochen. Das Anwesen befindet sich in einer Sackgasse, daher ist es sehr ruhig, da weder Menschen noch Verkehr vorbeikommen, aber dennoch 2 Minuten von der Hauptstraße und der nächsten U-Bahn entfernt.
The main door building has been fitted with a soft close mechanism, allowing it to close quietly by itself, please DON't pull/push shut, just let go.

Ideal!
We loved everything about the flat! It's on a quiet street only a couple of blocks from the Notting Hill Gate Tube station. The flat is beautifully appointed and a perfect combination of comfort and elegance. The beds are super comfortable and the proprietor was communicative and helpful. Honestly, we just loved it -- and we're picky! Can't wait to return!

Central and Comfortable
The apartment was very British. A good amount of seating, lighting, and dishes. Beds were comfortable and the property manager was responsive. Location was greay for getting everywhere.

Place was exactly as explained and the way it shows in the pictures. It was excellent!! Very quiet, yet close to everything. Owner was very responsive and very very helpful and easy to contact!! A must stay place if visiting London. Will stay here again!!

Great Location
The location of this VRBO is wonderful, close to Hyde park for a morning walk, just steps from the tube station to take you all through the city, wonderful pubs, cafes and Portabella Road shopping around the corner. My only 'hitch' was the "king" beds as advertised are actually Queen beds by US standards and it's definitely time for new mattresses. The living area seating needs replacing as well, couch cushions were lumpy and thin, the plastic dining chairs are adequate and the one chair is small, and again, cushions need replacing. Be aware there is no AC, only heat in this unit. The unit was very clean, the kitchen well appointed, and the closet/dresser space was plentiful.

Location location.
Great location on quiet street. Flat was clean and spacious. Easy access to tube. Lots of great places to eat around flat. Host made checking in and out very easy and was always assessable. Would stay there again.

Truly an excellent location for longer term London stay
We stayed here for 3 weeks and greatly enjoyed being in this location. It's away from tourist and business crowds and you feel as if you are in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Great food and Hyde Park nearby. Don't miss Portobello Market on the weekend. Owner was responsive. Beds are closer to Queen size. Despite proximity to the subway, buses, taxis, etc. place is quiet. If you are planning to spend time in London, this is a great place to be.

Property was as advertized, well provisioned, well located, quiet and in a wonderful neighbor hood.
Three of us stayed for 2 weeks and the property had all the amenities one could ask for, and especially nice was the updated bathroom on the second floor. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants, and the tube was one block away. Our host answered any questions we had quickly and he was very helpful. Next time we are in London we would definitely stay there again.

Charged for losing keys we were never given.
An otherwise comfortable stay in London was ruined by charges for a set of keys we were never given. When we arrived at the flat, we were met by a representative of the owner. She gave us brief instructions and one set of keys to the flat. All went well until we were on our way to Heathrow. We were then informed that we had neglected to return the second set of keys. We explained that we were given only one set of keys. If we did not come up with the keys, we would be charged 80 pounds to have a second set of keys made. We insisted that we were only given one set and the owner implied that we were lying but he would split the difference with us and only charge 40 pounds. We discussed the situation with the other couple. Since we were both retired physicians, we decided that our integrity was worth more than 40 pounds and we rejected his offer. All we can say is that there is second set of keys that we never got floating around London. Be careful for your security in that flat.

Notting Hill
Great location in a nice neighborhood. The property is more run down than pictures would suggest. The chair in living area has a broken leg, blinds in upstairs bedroom doesn’t work so I had to prop open with a pair of boots. We had thermostats turned off the entire time and it was so hot that we had windows opens all the time to try to get it cooler I have never stayed in an apartment where there was no way to make coffee. Instant doesn’t count! A French press would be fine. There was no shower gel/ soap in the upstairs bath. It has great potential but needs some loveAlso disconcerting we couldn’t communicate with host through VRBO. We were told they were “blocked”. Just seemed a little fishy

Spring Break March 11-15
Perfect location for restaurants, access to public transportation in a lovely neighborhood. You truly could walk everywhere also. The flat was clean and spacious. Priyan the owner was very helpful to answer any and all questions.

Cute in Notting Hill
Great location for exploring the city...steps to Notting Hill Gate station with access to Circle and Central lines. Everything functioned and the bathrooms were freshly refurbished. The location was mostly quiet, the upstairs neighbors were loud walkers but quiet at night. There was a Tescos within easy walking distance for basic groceries and several pubs & coffee houses nearby if you were not inclined to cook. In all a great holiday let!

Exceeded Expectations
A very nice 2 bedroom 2 bath with lots of space and light. Best of all was the location on a quiet cul-de-sac close to Notting Hill Station and the Central line. Easy access to shopping and theatres. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we are in London.

Amazing
My Cousin and I had a fantastic week in London thanks to Priyan and his lovely flat. We arrived a bit early and Bearta met us and made us feel right at home, she was a gem.
As for the flat, I have never slept so good. Comfortable living room and beautiful tall windows throughout.
The location was unbelievable. Notting Hill Gate tube station is right around the corner as is Kensington Park.
We walked everywhere.

Great location!
Nice flat on a quiet dead end street. Great location to the Underground and restaurants. Had a great Indian meal and wish we would have had more time to try the Morrocan and Persian restaurants. There was also a nice bakery right on the corner and a grocery 5 minutes away. We walked to Hyde Park and Porabello Road. The owner was helpful with suggestions on where to eat and shop. Would stay again!

Great location,very safe and a beautiful clean apartment
Really enjoyed staying here! The location is fantastic. Its very quiet and safe. Its only a 5 minute walk to the tube or bus stop and your surrounded by really good restaurants. I highly recommend the very friendly "Paul Rhodes Bakery" on the corner for coffee and delicious pastries! Its a 10 minute walk to Kensington palace and Hyde Park. If your looking to sight see, the tube can get you to the Tower of London/Tower Bridge in about 30-35 minutes, Westminster/Big Ben in about 20-25. The Tesco grocery is about 5-10 minute walk as is the local pharmacy. If your an American, you may want to ask how the clothes washer/dryer combo operates. Its a little tricky if your not used to it. Other than that, we have no complaints and highly recommend staying there. Thank you Pri!

I'm Sri Lankan and have been living in the Notting Hill area for over 10 years and think it is one of the most vibrant places to live in the world. The only things missing is the beach, palm trees and sometimes the weather.. but I guess I can just go home for that!
I love good food, eating out, meeting new people and chilling with friends and family. One of my favourite past times is having BBQs, especially if I am the cook.
I spend a lot of time travelling and learning about different cultures. One of my favourite places to visit is Norway where my sister and family live.
I look forward to welcoming guests and rest assured you will have not only have a comfortable stay but a host with all the local knowledge and special passes for bars, restaurants and tourist attractions.
