Staying at our one-bedroom apartment allows you to immerse yourself in the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of Funchal and Madeira. Whether exploring the vibrant marina, savouring local delicacies, or relaxing on the sandy beaches, this property promises an unforgettable and authentic experience in the heart of Funchal, Portugal.

It is designed with an open floor plan. The living room features a two-seater sofa, a bean bag, a flat-screen TV to enjoy your favourite shows, a dining table where you can dine with loved ones and a door leading to a furnished balcony with a sea view, perfect for relaxing.

The kitchen has essential cookware and cutleries to cook some delicious homemade meals.

The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with complimentary hotel-quality linens to ensure guests sleep well.

The bathroom contains all the essentials; clean towels and complimentary toiletries will also be provided for your convenience.

The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

Santa Maria Maior is a charming and historic neighbourhood in the heart of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. It is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in the city and is known for its narrow cobblestone streets, traditional architecture, and vibrant atmosphere.

The neighbourhood is rich in history and culture, with many historic buildings, churches, and monuments to explore. One of the main attractions in Santa Maria Maior is the Sé Cathedral, a stunning 15th-century cathedral with a beautiful interior and impressive facade.

Santa Maria Maior is also home to several picturesque squares, such as Praça do Município and Praça do Carmo, where locals and visitors gather to enjoy the ambience and socialize in the surrounding cafes and restaurants.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest bus stop, Rua Nova Alegria, is just a minute's walk.

Madeira Airport International Cristiano Ronaldo is an 18-minute drive from the property.

Before your check-in, we will send you your check-in options and where to pick up the keys. Please note that personal check-in with a concierge costs 10€, pending availability.

We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).

Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.

Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
