Accommodations were great and as advertised. Clean, comfortable, and fairly easy access to popular attractions, mostly within walking distance. Although, it is located in an area where there is constant noise from the street below and throughout all hours of the night due to some clubs very nearby.

The place itself is amazing. Great central location for walking the city. Very roomy and comfortable with a convenient layout for families. The only issue is the communication with the company that runs it. We never got a check-in email and had to get VRBO involved just to get a person on the phone. They never responded to any of our messages until it was too late for the information to do us any good. The only communication we received from them proactively was about how to pay them.

The apartment was in a great location. The space was ideal for our family of 5 traveling from the US. Overall it met our needs, however we had issues with the check in process as we received an email that said we’d get the code at 9 am but then when we arrived at 9 am we had trouble making contact and were eventually told we couldn’t get the code until 3 pm. Being that we traveled overnight we hadn’t slept and had to get a hotel so our kids could sleep until 3 pm. Overall it was poor/confusing communication that could have been avoided. We had an issue with the WiFi; we were sent inaccurate information and eventually had to resolve it ourselves on the second day. The unit did have a smell as other reviews mentioned. At first I thought it was due to someone smoking in the unit, but as time went on I think it was something related to the sewage in Spain. It helped to have the windows open. The biggest mistake we made was using the jacuzzi tub on the last night. It had either never been used and was broken or in need of being cleaned because as soon as my son turned it on black stuff came out of the jets and got all over him. I would not advise using it. With all that said, we could totally stay there again. The location, space, access to laundry facilities in the unit, and the character outweighed the bad. We provided feedback to the Host in hopes the documentation will be updated for future guests.

Great location

Four of us were traveling for a birthday trip. This was the perfect place. Close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. We were able to be lazy in the morning and able to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The management was easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had.

Location location

Top location, near all. Good customer service, we can leaved our luggages in their office for few hours after we checked out. The apartment is nice & clean, only one thing is they don’t give enough supplies, like soap, shampoo, toilet paper and garbage bag for our 3 days staying.

Great location in historic Madrid

This is a great apartment in a great location. Steps from many bars and restaurants and from the Plaza Santa Ana. A short walk to metro, Sol and Plaza Major. The living room is not large but has a great couch with plenty of seating. There are three nice sized bedrooms one with an ensuite bath. Room windows face interior so quiet for sleeping. Kitchen is a bit funky, but workable. It is nice to have the laundry, though it would be good to have better instructions for use. Could use some power strips in living room for phone chargers.

Construction!!!!!

We rented the apartment the night before we arrived and told the host we were doing so because we were arriving at 6 AM after an overseas night flight. We wanted to be able to get a few hours rest before starting the holiday. At 8 AM the construction began in the apartment next door. They used a sledge hammer on the wall where the head of our bed was. It continued every day we were there. Construction did not end until 6 PM every night.Furnishings a bit old and slightly worn. NO SUPPLIES - no dish soap, no dishwasher soap, tiny bars of soap in the bathroom.I can not recommend this place to anyone.
