Thank you for your review Anthony. I am afraid we do rely on our housekeeping team to maintain the standards at High Tide Cottage and in this case there appears to be a drop in what we would expect. We will take this up with them. We hope that you enjoyed all that the area has to offer and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Hi Thank you for your review and acknowledgement of the bedrooms and the bedding / linen / location were good and that we allowed you a free complimentary early check in (we note you ignored the instructions that if you do check in early you MUST leave the keys in the box so we can come in and finish - which explains why the cleaning hadn't been completed) We are upset by your comments about the cleaning. We note that despite checking in early you didnt call us and give us the chance to correct these issues. In addition it is unfair to mark us down for flies in the area which is a natural phenomenon and out of our control. You also chose to not contact us about this issue. We have staff 24/7 that would have come and corrected the cleaning and would have loaned you a high powered UV fly killer for the duration of your stay, Please note that this property gets 5* reviews across the board for cleaning and it is unfair to score this so low when only a few small issues were missed (as we gave you an early check in) and the flies are completely out of our control due to nature and the semi rural coastal location.
