The market town of Skipton has so much to offer visitors from a great selection of independent shops and restaurants to the ancient castle which is open daily. The great weekly market sits on the cobbled area either side of the main thoroughfare. Head over to Aireville Park, with its wonderful canal path and pretty long boats, where you can book a day’s boat ride and enjoy the stunning Yorkshire Dales countryside from the water.

Towns close by include the spa towns of Ilkley and Harrogate which both feature the legendary Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms where afternoon tea is a must. Skipton train station is within walking distance from the property, giving you quick access to the fantastic Leeds city centre for all the shopaholics out there.
