Knossos Estate Villa Ariadni is a wonderful private villa with 7 spacious bedrooms. Sunset-sunrise and panoramic view towards the Mediterranean Sea, the nearby gorge, the town of Rethymnon and the medieval Venetian Castle.

You will be renting our private villa of 300m2, on a private 2.500 m2 plot, with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, surrounded by a garden with a large private pool, children`s pool, playground, bbq, lawn, flowers and exotic trees!

The ideal solution for groups of friends, families with children, or anyone seeking a private escape desiring even special services such as massage, breakfast included in price, private chef and unique events.

The rich culture and the hospitality customs are part of the Cretan tradition. We will welcome you in a family atmosphere, introduce you to our facilities, and assist you in anything you need, in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Perfect place for families

We stayed one week at Knossos Estate and it was perfect! The villa is very large we had 12 people in our group and it fitted all of us with no problems. The view is amazing and Rethymnon is a great town and has fantastic restaurants. Thank you, for making our stay so memorable, we would love to come back one day!

We had such a wonderful stay! Communication with both the owner and the villa manager, Lina, was brilliant from start to finish. Lina was amazing—she organised taxis, arranged a delicious meal at the villa, and gave us great tips on local restaurants and beaches. She was always so quick to reply and nothing was ever too much trouble.The villa itself had everything we needed and plenty of space for our big family group—13 adults, our nearly two-year-old granddaughter, and other family popping in to visit. The views from up on the hillside were stunning, looking out over the sea, harbour, and old town of Rethymno.The weather was a bit up and down while we were there, so a heated pool would have been a lovely bonus—but we know it’s usually perfect for cooling off in the sunshine! We were there to celebrate our son’s wedding, and it honestly couldn’t have been a better place for such a special family week.

A beautiful villa which was a treat to stay informed our family of 8 adults and 5 small children. Nothing was too much trouble including providing 5 cots and 2 highchairs. Breakfasts were great and we had a Greek meal provided by Lina the housekeeper for my sons 40th birthday including a cake. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Excellent property

We have had an amazing holiday at this villa. The property was perfect for our family of 12. Lina was great and so helpful she contacted us every day to see if we needed anything. The breakfast every morning was fabulous and we arranged a meal one night cooked by Lina which was amazing. She provided everything setting of the table and fabulous food. If there was one negative I would say we couldn’t walk anywhere outside the villa but we found a taxi firm which took us into the town at night for meals drinks or shopping and it worked out 5 euros per person return which was fabulous. I would really recommend this villa for any large family and we are looking at returning in the future xx thank you so much for our wonderful holiday Lina xx

Fabulous - best Villa yet!

We were a family party ranging from 3 months to 75 years old. We all agreed that this was the best Villa we've stayed in yet as a family! Our highlights were the pool, the playground and the gardens. There are two well stocked kitchens and fridges and we used the bbq on multiple occasions. It was cleaned for us and the bins were taken out daily/garden arranged each morning. It's these little touches that we loved. Breakfast was fab!!! Lots of choice and delicious. Special shout out to Lina for the top communication and hospitality. She arranged masseuses to come to the house (recommend the deep tissue!) booked taxis and recommended (and booked) a restaurant which was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Lina for her cooking too. We had three course meals cooked by her on two nights which made it feel like such a treat. Particularly as we had little ones sleeping so couldn't really go out. Food was amazing! Loved it all but can recommend the moussaka, Cretan risks, meatballs, lamb, potatoes were to die for etc etc. Don't miss the chocolate cake... No negatives but the a/c rules were tricky to navigate for the children who went to bed early.

Toller Urlaub

Sehr schönes Haus mit großer Gartenanlage und schönen Pool. Super geeignet für Familien mit Kindern. Ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht und nur 10 Autominuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Ganz große Empfehlung von Herzen

Wir waren im Juni 2022 mit 16 Erwachsenen in der Villa und hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit. Wenn wir könnten, würden wir 10 Sterne vergeben, es war alles perfekt! Die Kommunikation hat einwandfrei geklappt, wir hatten immer einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort - die Managerin des Hauses kam jeden Tag vorbei, um zu schauen, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt, ob mehr Handtücher, ein Extra Toaster oder mehr Besteck. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag sehr gut und wurde genauso gebracht, wie wir es wollten. Der Gärtner hat sich regelmäßig liebevoll um die Außenanlage gekümmert und zwei Damen um das Innere des Hauses. Von der Managerin und Ihrem Mann haben wir ein wundervolles Dinner bekommen, welches wir zusammen mit ihr erstellt haben. Es wurde in die Villa gebracht und hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Das würden wir jedem empfehlen! Vor dem Haus ist genug Platz für 4 Autos, man hat sich stets sicher in der Villa gefühlt und konnte abends ruhigen Gewissens die Musik lauter drehen. Wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen, es war ein wundervolles Haus mit wundervollen Gastgebern.

Familienferien auf Kreta

Leider wurde der Genuss des Aufenthaltes etwas gemindert da - durch tageweise schlechtes Wetter - die Solarpanäle auf dem Dach es nicht schafften, das Wasser der Dusche aufzuheizen. Mit kaltem Wasser zu duchsne nachdem man im kalten Pool war, war nicht wirklich ein Genuß-- sonst alles wunderbar!

We enjoyed a nice family holiday

We choosed the right place. 8 adults and 2 small children had enough facilities and space to enjoy the holiday week. The booking process was smooth. I always had a good gut feeling with it. The information we received before the holiday were quite useful. The Villa is nice. The Playground was perfect for the two little children. They enjoyed it daily. The kitchen(s) are nice and good equiped. Maybe it needs some better knifes to prepare vegetables but nothing more to add. Everything is clean and the hospitality was friendly and attentive. Thanks for this we really enjoyed.

Fantastic Villa!

This is a fantastic villa in a great location. It was spacious, well equipped and close to local amenities. We absolutely loved the pool especially during the evenings when the lights came on and the outdoor kitchen BBQ area was used every night. The sunsets were superb and the views were stunning. The villa was cleaned thoroughly mid week with fresh bedding and towels provided. Breakfast every morning wasn’t expected and was delicious. It was delivered at 9am and consisted of pastries, fruit, eggs, cereal, bread and jam. It was different every day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A special mention must go to our host Lina who was attentive without being intrusive. She advised and booked all of our activities and ensured our stay was of the highest standard! Would definitely recommend!

Great villa

Really enjoyed our stay. Lina was brilliant and her food was delicious! Was a hard kitchen to cook in with lack of utensils / colander and rubbish knives. The yummy breaksfasts were very welcomed each morning . Beds pretty hard - mixed thoughts with the adults!

Adrian villa stay

We have just returned from the villa last week , the villa itself is really lovely / clean and is just as it is in the pictures. Breakfast was included in the price and was really nice and plenty to go around all 12 of us. One evening we stayed in for food, this was excellent and all freshly cooked , would highly recommend. Lina was very helpful and friendly and also helped arrange a day out for us , she was there in person or on the Phone to answer any questions or give advise Wound highly recommend this property

Two relaxing and fun weeks in Crete

We were three families travelling together, with 7 children ranging from 2 to 11 in age. We had rented cars so we had the possibility to go places. Stongly recommoned to rent cars. Lina, the host, gave good advices for where to go and dont go. The house, pool and garden maintenace, cleaning, included breakfast and the one dinner we ordered was all very good! It is worth mentioning that the doors to the bedrooms needs to be closed in order to run the AC, which can be a bit annoying when putting the youngest kids to bed. We fixed this with attacing magnets to door sensor. We had some days with strong winds from NW, it was good to go to Bali Beach area or Lake Kournas on these days. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Fabulous Stay with amazing sunset views

We stayed end of May 2022, 4 families. 8 adults and 6 children. Lina looked after us incredibly well and helped us with all of our needs. Breakfast every morning was incredible and we had Lina cater for us on our 1st night. Traditional Moussaka, Greek salad and meatballs and potatoes. It’s was amazing. The maid service worked incredibly hard also and were greatly appreciated. There is a bakery you can walk to that also serves lunch and dinner. Not a lot more around. You would need to get taxis into town or hire cars. We had a fantastic sunny week in a beautiful location and would definitely return. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Bra service och fin villa,

Vårt gäng på 15 vuxna och en bebis fick en underbar vecka i huset! Huset motsvarade våra förväntningar och där fanns såväl barnmatstol och barnsäng åt vår bebis. Poolen var verkligt fin och ren, och kring den fanns solstolar som räckte och blev över åt hela vårt stora gäng. Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande med snacks och info om faciliteterna och servicen, och kände förtroende för personalen. En stor eloge vill vi ge åt frukstvärdinnorna som serverade god grekisk frukost varje morgon och städade så fint och bytte lakan och handdukar (hela 3 gånger under vår veckolånga vistelse). Vi kan verkligen rekommendera villan för andra som söker ett boende kring Rethymnon.

Flott hus med deilig uteområde

En gruppe på 13, fra 7 år til 70 koset seg max her en uke. Huset ligger et stykke fra sentrum/stranden, så bil er å anbefale. Vi ble tatt veldig godt hånd om å fikk servert frokost hver dag. Huset og uteområdet innfridde forventningene og vel så det :)

A recommander sans restriction

Idéalement située et parfaitement équipée et entretenue, la maison remplît tous les critères d’une villa de luxe. Grande piscine maintenue tous les jours, chaises longues et linges de bain en suffisance, service quotidien du petit déjeuner ( offert), nettoyages réguliers, tout concourt à rendre votre séjour inoubliable. Nous y avons passé 10 jours qui nous ont paru trop courts, mais nous songeons déjà à y revenir. Très belle découverte.

A much needed, relaxing holiday in the sun

When you see pictures of a holiday home you never think it can actually be that lovely......but Tria Monastiria definitely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and cleaned twice while we were there, sheets and towels changed. With 15 of us the dishwasher was well used with tablets provided. We certainly made use of the outdoor eating spaces and the kids made full use of the pool. Maria, the manager was on hand with tips about places to visit etc. What we hadn’t realised was that breakfast was included in the price, thus reducing our shopping costs and providing us with a leisurely start to each morning.....eggs, cereal, bread, cheese, ham, Greek yoghurt & honey, doughnuts, croissants and pastries. Initial concerns about a late flight and how to get the keys were solved once we knew that a call to Maria, once landed and she would greet us at any time. Just what we all needed. Thank you.
