Anyone can see from the photos in the description that this in an amazingly spacious villa. What is not included is all the subtle little extras that make this place undeniably paradise. This is not a cheap choice, we saved long and hard for this and it was worth every penny - for 18 glorious days we felt like royalty.The welcome basket was overwhelming - homemade pastries, water, wine, honey, jams, cheese etc. The villa was absolutely immaculate. The gardens lined with olive, orange and other fruit trees as well as the grape vine extended way beyond where the photos suggest. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries replaced every 4 days. Each bedroom also has its own external door to a balcony or patio and it's own air conditioning, which was very effective. Every door in the villa is fitted with shutters, a glass door, a mosquito net and there are blinds and curtains in the bedrooms. This is a small thing but meant that whatever the time of day you have the light/view you wanted.The outside space meant we could cook (outside kitchen with fridge, sink, gas bbq), sit (outside lounge with very comfortable sofas in semi-shade) dine (12 seater table) swim (amazing infinity pool with sun loungers) and relax with a drink watching the sunrise/sunset. There was always a seating solution where you needed it.I was devastated to leave this place, a true testament to how much we enjoyed our holiday here. I do hope one day to return.
