Harbour House Apartment befindet sich zwischen zwei Ebenen unterteilt; auf der ersten Etage gibt es eine offene Küche und Essbereich, ein separates Wohnzimmer mit Französisch Fenster auf einen Balkon, der Blick auf den Hafen und eine separate Toilette. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich im zweiten Stock - ein Doppel- und ein Zweibettzimmer sowie ein Familienbad (nur Badewanne).

Fab property in a great location. We, and our two dogs, spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bed is so comfy! In an ideal world a bit more space in the entrance hall would have been useful for towelling down the dogs after walks, but we managed and it definitely won’t put us off coming back.

Porlock Weir is a picturesque harbour village on the Exmoor National Park coastline in Somerset, with a history stretching back to the 15th century. The small tidal harbour, with its ancient lock gates and pebble beach, sits at the heart of a thriving community.



You'll find a welcoming pub, restaurants ranging from relaxed dining to Michelin-listed Italian cuisine, cosy cafes, and a popular street food takeaway -- all within walking distance of the harbour. Independent shops and galleries line the lanes, including Exmoor Glass, the Harbour Gallery, and Porlock Bay Oysters, which opened expanded premises in 2024.



The larger village of Porlock is approximately one mile away and has a broader range of amenities including grocery shops, a traditional butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre, and a selection of independent restaurants and tea rooms. Most shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir keep hours of 9am to 5pm, often extending during the summer season.



Porlock Weir was recently used as a filming location for The Salt Path, the adaptation of Raynor Winn's bestselling memoir about walking the South West Coast Path.
