Another fabulous stay

Another fabulous stay at Spixworth. Great location. The cottage was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The provision for children was excellent. They particularly enjoyed the play barn. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

We love coming to Stables Cottage…

We love coming to Stables Cottage… excellent accommodation for a wheelchair user and perfect location. Not far from Norwich, the Broads, the Coast and Yarmouth Stadium for Stock Car Racing. We have made use of the swimming pool and tennis court in the past and had fun playing table tennis in the new games room this year. Still finding new things to do and places to visit and enjoyed revisiting some of our favourites. We have been to Spixworth three times in the last six years and will be back again!

Comfortable stay

The Stables is the perfect accommodation for a disabled family member, allows all guests to have independence during their holiday, surrounded by beautiful countryside with all the attractions of Norfolk only short drives or bus journeys away.

Lovely stay

We always have a lovely time each time we stay with Sheelah, Kim & the team in Spixworth. They always go above and beyond to make our stay really enjoyable, from booking, staying & afterwards when I had left some belongings, which they found and sent onto me. I would highly recommend staying here.

Brilliant stay with everything I needed

Stables is very well and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a great stay with my assistance dog and wheelchair. The location is great with easy access to all the broards, and the recreational facilities great if the weather is poor. Wonderful holiday.

One of our favourite places

We have stayed at Spixworth Hall 4 times now. Its beautiful, peaceful, friendly place to visit and situated within very asy reach if the coast, Norfolk Broads and Norwich. We had my elderly parents with us so booked 'Stables Cottage' as it is fully accessible.

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

As always, the cottage was clean & very well set up. I love the fact you get milk & either cake or biscuits on arrival & one of the owners always comes to check everything’s ok. We’ve been staying at least once a year for the last 7 years & intend on returning every year at least once in the future. Beautiful walks in beautiful surroundings.

Weekend break at Stables Cottage

Peaceful location with interesting walks in woodland, fields and footpaths. Stables Cottage is on the ground floor of a handsome manor house and is full of character and charm. It's comfortable and clean and looks out onto a delightful shared garden.

Return Visit

Staying at Spixworth Hall feels like coming home. We cannot speak highly enough about the team that run it. Always so kind, professional and accommodating. We were blessed with superb weather this stay and made the most of the pretty, secure garden as well as the beautiful walks around the property. The bluebells were stunning. Staying at Spixworth Hall Cottages gives us a chance to breathe deeply and relax. There are plenty of things to do whilst staying put, but also the beaches, the broads and Norwich, trains etc are all in easy reach Just the best place to be.

Excellent

Our stay at The Stables was fantastic. The cottage has everything you need and the extra touches that make it feel like home. The adapted bathroom is brilliant and excellently thought out. To be able to step out of front door to beautiful country walks was an extra treat. Jack and Sheelah could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.
