Located on a quiet residential street in the Diamond Conservation area, this three-storey townhouse combines traditional elegance with relaxed, rustic style – just a short walk from Battersea Park and with excellent transport links to Chelsea, Victoria and the West End.
The home is full of character, from its slate fireplaces and pine shutters to vintage furniture and floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. It’s the perfect antidote to sleek modern apartments – offering the warmth and personality of a well-loved family home.
The large kitchen evokes a countryside feel with a stone floor, range cooker and wine fridge – and opens out onto a small patio for morning coffee or evening drinks. For warmer days and al fresco dining, the first-floor roof terrace includes a barbecue, wooden dining table and chairs.
Sleeping up to five guests, the master bedroom occupies the first floor and features French antique furnishings and an en suite bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath and original Victorian fittings. (Please note the shower in this bathroom is ornamental and not in use.) Upstairs, a further double and single bedroom share a large shower room – all decorated with vintage beds, traditional accents and an eye for cosy, lived-in charm.

Tennyson Street is within walking distance of Battersea Park’s beautiful open spaces and riverside walks. You’ll find Queenstown Road and Battersea Park stations within easy reach, with trains to Victoria and Waterloo. Wandsworth Road (Overground) is nearby, and the 137 bus runs directly over Chelsea Bridge to Sloane Square, Knightsbridge and Oxford Street.
